You're looking at it the wrong way. Louisville was knocked out of the picture today. Next week they knock out FSU. The dominoes are falling.
I guess I didn't consider Louisville a threat but maybe that is naive

Louisville loses to a 6-5 Kentucky team , I have little confidence they'll handle FSU

A&M is in a real pickle - they want a big name and they want to bring their contract offer down to earth. A big name won’t entertain anything but the jimbo sized meal deal and yet I doubt A&M will spend it so they will get an also ran or a young coach from a mid tier team with promise but still really unknown confirming they aren’t a big balla stroke that check like they think they are. In the end who ever said it’s an “RC a didn’t offer” redo is correct. Coulda had Day but didn’t offer.
That and if the new coach isn't on staff, and they hire a mid , does Robinson stay if he beats LSU ?
There is a tendency for interim to feel slighted .
Would love for them to hire a mid just for him to turn around and leave for Oregon State or something

Poor aggy

Is Daniels planning on coming back next year ?
This LSU team may not be bowl eligible without him

Why leave your alma mater where you’re a hero twice over to go to East Lansing? The conference insecurity?
Yup , rather he go to MSU than Aggy

Almost feel bad for the treatment BYU is likely to get tonight

Texas Tech uploaded their highlights video on Youtube. It's a whopping 1 minute 54 seconds long
So it's commercials ?

Serious question, who is responsible for our special teams kicking so much ass ? Give that man fucking raise

From a pure resume standpoint, Texas should be in over Oregon and Alabama (assuming conference win) and shouldn’t really be close.
Oregon SOS is weak (vs. Texas too 10 schedule) and has an 8 pt win vs a 50 pt win over the common opponent
Texas will have H2H road win over Alabama no matter what happens.
The “Bama should be in as SEC champ” is weak as both teams would be conference winners with one loss (and think Texas SOS is better anyway).

I was told Stewart wasn't leaving....
He's apparently playing , not transferring , not going on the bus , is his NIL that good or just wanting to avoid injury ? That's a lot of missed games with no background

Move #3 up to #1 and I'm with you.
I actually back and forth on this. It almost should be on its own list .
The game itself is OK, but the pageantry is in a world of its own

Auburn Bama at #1 is certainly a choice, as is the egg bowl above Texas OU.
I mean I enjoyed the egg bowl but it's not top 4 .
I think as we're all naturally biased but to me
1. Shootout
2. Iron bowl
3. Army navy
4. The game
Everything else

So the new coach will be expected to win big in year one, despite a dysfunctional roster and coaching staff, and complete lack of discipline?

The cutting back in the analysts roles is going to really hurt them.
It's also small change . It'd like stopping buying coffee because you owe 2 million to a loan shark

Clearly thinking about that A&M job

Fair enough, I stand corrected. I was at that game too. But doing it after the Big 12 game this year would be full aggie douche.
Brace yourself , either our opponents will be doing it sarcastically or the Texas fans in the stadium will be doing it to rub it in.

In classic aggie fashion, they have hoisted themselves by their own petard. They have serious buyouts for some of the assistants. They don’t want to pay those too, so they’ve convinced themselves that the assistants weren’t the problem - just Ritz Bit.
They’ve allegedly been looking for someone who would leave the defensive staff alone and most of the offensive staff too. That might be one of the key reasons that Traylor wasn’t a fit.
That whole setup sounds legitimately ridiculous to me, so I am entertained to see if it is true at all. If so, wow. If not, one thing that I know is true is there are some buyouts that are going to hurt.
Nothing attracts a quality head coach like not picking any staff
