  1. I just figured aggys ministry of truth needed a few days to align on communications for their flock of sheep around hiring a 6-7 win coach
  2. Unless you want to discourage top teams from scheduling it has to count
  3. I'm still doubtful he comes back . yes I know the scuttlebutt , but if he grades out he's gone. If he comes back it will probably blow people's minds because we haven't had a qb with all the surrounding pieces this good since McCoy Would be the best thing for Texas for an experienced Ewers to lead us through year 1 of SEC , seems like striking gold Most of the Heisman contenders are multi year starters and historically QBs tend to get better the more time in a system. Expectations for a Ewers return would be sky fucking high and I'm here for it if it happens
  4. The only way Oregon or Bama can get in over Texas is the eye test . Oregon - plays a soft SOS, easy to look good playing puffs - no significant ranked wins , lost to the only top ranked team on their schedule Bama - lost to texas at home ? - good but weaker SOS than Texas I'm going to be real pissed if we win out and miss it. Still hoping for some upsets to clear this up
  5. That was early in the season just like Bama, he's basically Saban Edit - wrong quote but I'm leaving it (And lost to Mississippi freaking State. )
  6. This and the Oregon lack of SOS are what I keep drum beating on . If Bama beats Georgia that should only strengthen our case since we beat Bama at home. If none of that matters let's just schedule la tech or some crappy California teams for recruiting and be done with it
  7. I'm moderately impressed with the lack of leaks, but this convinces me they don't have a clue who they are hiring and probably don't have the liquidity to make a hire they actually want
  8. I don't shit about the draft , but I'm sure some dumb GMs are going to pass on one of most significant defense players since Suh . Sweat requires double teaming and still has crazy stats
  9. It's definitely part of the structure but compared to executive compensation in other industries its small. Most certainly make most of their compensation from incentives , not from salary I'd go as far as say stacking bonuses for rounds of playoffs and championships , multi year bonuses for consistency. Things that drive the coaches for success. This is in stark contrast to the golden albatros type contracts schools like A$M are giving out. I do not understand or agree with guaranteed money when performance can't be guaranteed
  10. Call me crazy but I'd love CDC to lead here a bit and do a heavy incentive structure , playoffs and championships get huge competitive bonus
  11. When you say things like it just make me realize the conference is not just malficient , it's also incompetent What losing Texas does to a mf
  12. Go to 20 , two 10 team divisions playing round robin will be fine 24 teams can have 6 divisions and a semi final and work fine I think 16 is fine if the ncaa gets out of the way for some creativity, 4 4 team divisions that have a semi final
  13. Charlie Strong : " the cake was baked !"
  14. I'd love to see that hate flow though , not gonna lie this would be A&M cutting off their nose to spite their face
  15. How do we avoid big12 in neutral and bowl games ?
  16. I am not a contract lawyer , but I'd imagine if USC and Lincoln Mutually want to change the contract to let him go to A&M they can do that Only A&M would be dumb enough to give Reilly another Jimbo / Reilly type contract after his performance at A&M
