  1. My struggle with moving Simms or Applewhite up over Ewers is lack of major wins - they have a bowl win a piece against MSU (lol) and LSU(missing starting QB) , no major OOC wins of note , not even a division championship
  2. that and there is a ton of chatter that the SEC is already eliminated, I guess no one thinks we SEC
  3. At the bottom of any list you make , just above Heard
  4. I mean if we're ranking QBs who didn't win shit , you must have been a huge fan of Chris Simms Ash is way the fuck down the list near the 'who gives a fuck stage' , the only reason i even mentioned him is that decade of QB play was BLEAK . Split all the hairs you want down that far the list it don't mean a shit
  5. I'm just young enough I'm not able to rank anyone before that, it doesn't make my opinion wrong it just makes you old You think very highly of Applewhite who didn't win shit , he was fun to watch but winning big games matters
  6. I mean it is in the Cotton Bowl, could be a blizzard game
  7. I think for me in the modern era 1. VY - self explanatory 2. Colt - didn't matter the down or distance, you knew he was getting that first down and moving the game forward 3. Ehlinger - Had major IT factor, played on shittier teams, but dude returned Texas to its proper stage with a Sugar Bowl win . Would have won more if Herman wasn't a total dipshit 4. Quinn - back to back playoff runs , big 12 championship, sec champion birth , and led us to an amazing start in the sec . If he wins the big game I'd move him up --- 5. Applewhite/Simms - Good but not Great , never won the big games 6. Ash / Case McCoy - surprising bright spots in a otherwise decade of darkness --- Sucks too much to be numbered - Swoopes, Heard, Gilbert, Card, Mock , Thompson
  8. Wild that Chip Kelly was only at Oregon as HC for 4 years, I swear he there much longer but I guess that was his OC stint blurring the lines there
  9. but how does Ewers compare to Ehlinger ?
  10. and to be fair to Ewers, he's not really the type of QB you can use as a battering ram
  11. Yea it's got to be agonizing for them like a continuous month and half long roller coaster derailment
  12. Cowboys would be interested in a anyone with a pulse , I think Sark is too smart for the Cowboys to be the job he takes If he did take my first calls would probably be Ryan Day and Dilly Dilly
  13. Read as : A&M still doesn't have the depth to compete week in and week out in the SEC
  14. Aggy switching conferences to the Big10 was be hilarious 1. Scoreboard again 2. They'd float along as the average team they are , riding OSU instead of Bamas coattails 3. Never live down running from Texas I agree on many of the branding problems but until they are ready to purge the yell leaders from the sidelines it doesn't matter what they rename themselves Ans no name will be larger than TEXAS
  15. Choose fans choose jiff man
  16. Clearly Arch could have reacted fasted and ran straight for a touchdown
  17. Some gold tonight for sure my favorite isn't captured in the article but his reaction after the 4th quarter substitution was one for the ages https://sports.yahoo.com/kirby-smart-complains-about-officials-allowing-notre-dames-11-man-substitution-on-critical-sugar-bowl-play-031323798.html
  18. Well then I was 2 for 5 , bench me coach !
  19. I'm drunk and on vacation give me a pass
  20. No offense but you are old. It's 2024 , I'm no spring chicken (42) and I barely remember Ricky winning the Heisman. At my age group it's 1. 4th and 5 2. Walk off field goal vs A&M 3. Wait 1 second Nebraska 4. 4th and 13 5. Bevo nearly spearing Ugga and the ensuing beat down
  21. A&M fans are happier about the ND win than anyone outside of of that fanbase (including NIU) Played 2 top defenses close from 2 semi final teams , future is bright , morale victories etc all . NEXT YEAR IS THE YEAR
