I agree and feel like I watched a different game than other people. The RB i was mossed impressed with that played last saturday was Clark.
He seemed to having a combination of timing and vision the others don't, was finding creases, or not just aimlessly running into the line hoping to get yardage.
Edit, i stopped watching at the end of the third quarter, is it worth watching the 4th
I know a lot are down on flood but I'm in the minority that our olines are fine.
We are a light years ahead of Mack Brown and whatever the previous 2 regimes put out.
We had most of our line drafted ffs.
Should he be OC ? Fuck no
Fire Mildew into the sun and hire the best fucking OC and QB coach and get it done
All this hand wringing about Arch is easily fixable with wins.
It's time to see Caldwell start against Sam Houston , mix in some Lacey and see what we've got.
Teams look different with different QBs , it's weird but it's true.
Arch not only doesn't have IT he cant complete basic passes , he's either broken or not ready and we need to see if someone else is.
Years ago we had Buechelle at the helm , who wasn't even a bad QB. But that team need Ehlinger . The floor of the entire offense raised.
We need to spin the wheel
I said something similar in another thread just moments ago and agree.
Play this bad makes everything else just intangible worse.
The wrs could be compensating in weird ways .
The OLine has to work harder to try and help the RBs everyone is keyed on . Those same RBs are less productive because who needs to focus on the WRs when arch throws at peoples feet.
Arch needs to sit for awhile for the good of the team. Maybe he gets over whatever is in his head, maybe he gets pussed and transfers.
But if we don't try something else he's going to lose the team.
