  1. He is balling out - he and the rest of the TE's deserve that Burnt Ends support!
  2. Won’t be able to make the early wristband snag, but looking forward to the party on Saturday! I know the rideshare drop off is right by the tailgate and this may be a dumb question, but does anybody know if Ferry Field is the best destination to enter for a dropoff ? (Not sure if they have street closures, mass humanity mobs, routing around gameday)?
  3. Just donated for four - be there in an hour or two!
  4. Bumping this - thinking of doing a Portugal trip next year. I'd have about 10 days, and it would be during the summer. Has anybody here been to the Azores, and if so, how many days would you recommend/which islands were your favorites? It seems like you could spend a few weeks island hopping, so I don't know if I should just look at that being the entire trip. Second question - is it worth doing Madeira also, or should I look at mainland cities - Lisbon/Porto/etc. as part of the trip?
  5. Agreed - Michigan fans were great in LA, and I have high expectations for the trip to Ann Arbor. Ohio State fans in Columbus were the absolute worst collective fanbase I have ever personally encountered, including the dirt burglars.
  6. They already got back to me - they will do it on the back end if you email them. They said, "Either way, they will use your name and zip code to match you up with your correct account. "
  7. This is badass! Anybody know a quick answer to how you set up a link to LHF account for a recurring donation that is already in place? I see it on the Texas One page for new donations, but not on my current iDonate page.
  8. I get the whole NET argument, but as a basketball fan (and season ticket holder spending decent $), it fucking blows.
  9. This one got delivered to me today - pretty slick!
  10. So do they just take away that chunk of student seating, or do they reallocate those lost places elsewhere (not that it matters since student section is never full except for huge games)?
  11. I was wondering that as well - odd that they didn't explain it better.
  12. I had a few hours to kill in Montreal today before dinner and saw that Marcus Carr’s Vancouver team was in town for a Canadian league game. First time I had seen a game that used the Elam Ending in person, which was much more enjoyable to watch than a standard game. Marcus gave me a hook ‘em when he saw my Longhorn shirt. His team ended up losing by a point - glad I got to see him play again though.
  13. I am going with a group of 5-6. We don't have tix yet but are eying somewhere around Secs. 15-17.
  14. Not sure what you were watching, but Lando went over to Oscar’s car immediately after the race (before Oscar even got out).
  15. Picked my OU seats today at noon - upper level around 25 yard line (section 127). For those yet to go, the only lower level left are directly behind the end zone. There were still a good amount of yard-line upper deck available.
  16. 7/16. There were no lower levels by the time it was my turn last year, but I did get really good seats on about the 40 yard line, third row upper deck.
  17. I did a week last summer driving through/stopping in Switzerland/Austria in Tyrol, Lech am Arlberg, Furstenau (ate and stayed at Schloss Schauenstein, a castle/3 Michelin star hotel/restaurant), and Lugano. Yes, Switzerland is expensive, and yes, it is worth every cent/Swiss Franc. It fucking rules.
  18. Miami, Auburn, or Cincinnati are potentials for his likely landing spot.
  19. I generally enjoyed the threads he started and appreciated his posts where he didn't rage on anybody who had a differing opinion, but those basketball threads were a beating once he got into any sort of back and forth (even though quite often it was other posters baiting him/starting shit). I hope he gets help for his mental health, but it seems like posting on Internet message boards is not something doing him any favors in that department.
  20. Overall (with the exception of a few), these chefs aren’t that creative. Quite a few are just making shit they normally do and try to shoehorn it into the challenge. It was cool to see Phillip Foss eat with the judges in the chaos challenge. I’ve had some memorable meals, and EL Ideas is certainly near the top of that list.
  21. It would be so nice if we can get Garrison on board and have a talented big guy, though it seems like going up against Arkansas is probably uphill sledding at this moment in time.
  22. At least we have one real home non-conference game...better than this past season.
