  1. maybe this is already out there but hearing we get Disu back Saturday.

I posted in the game thread, but Disu was wearing his uniform and doing pregame warmups with the team in our last game - first time I had seen that this season. So this tracks.

I was thinking in 2005 they allowed it then in 2009 they did not.

Was there a specific cutoff date stated?

Yep - 12/4. Full text of the email below.

I mean you can't help them trying to fund raise off of this.  These years are few and far between.  It's just damn shame we couldn't get Texas One Fund donations treated the same as LHF donations as we all thought would be the case.  Even though that could end up screwing me on tickets this year, I'll still give bare minimum to LHF and the rest to Texas One Fund.  Winning is more important.  Hopefully that change gets pushed through in the future.

Agreed, I just think it is offering a bit of false hope when you are dangling the bowl game language, when people have no idea what it takes to actually be in that spot.

  4. I think the most annoying thing was the emails from the athletic department to "boost your spot in line" for bowl game tickets by donating more to LHF without giving any estimate of what that spot needs to be to get tickets. I am ranked about 6,200 so am anticipating not being successful.

  5. A bit off topic here, but I was in an Austrian mountain town this summer where they filmed some of Spectre. They had a cool museum/experience at the top of the mountain and some badass props from all the Bond movies. If you ever find yourself in Solden, go check it out.

Approached the stadium entrance just after 10:00. Barely made kickoff. The longer we waited in that mass of humanity, the more it felt like we weren't too far away from a stampede. Just an absolute nightmare and they have to fix it before something bad happens.

Completely agree. As I found myself in that same hour-long wait to get in the entrance and worrying a whole bunch of people could get hurt, I was thinking maybe this is the last time I would be going to the game until massive improvements are done. Everything about the logistics was a fucking nightmare.

  7. Glad that Yamas seems to be doing better/have their shit together. I went one of the first couple weeks it was open and despite the food being alright, it was probably the worst dining experience I have had for a place at that kind of price point.

  8. Most NYC MSG games are probably corporate seats aside from the university sections. Even though there were no seats “available” last year, you could probably get a lower level seat for $20 or less the day of. I tried listing one extra for 50 percent of face and couldn’t get a bite (even with Duke being one of the teams) - ended up just giving it away to a friend.

  9. Non-conference schedule is out. The home games certainly suck balls.
