  1. Can we save meltdowns for games where we are losing instead of one of the few very good halves we have played lately?
  2. This team is maddening to watch. I keep telling myself we have good individual players who could compete with anybody on any given night, and all we need to do is get on a hot streak. In reality, we have a disjointed, sloppy, inconsistent group who can't seem to figure out how to play together as a team and at times, we play some individuals who give very questionable effort. At this point, we are what we are - that first half last night was absolutely pathetic. I feel bad this is how Dylan and Brock are going to go out.
  3. This league is ridic. If not for the TCU game ref gift wrap, Gods gift would be 5-5.
  4. Do they do +/- stats in CBB? It seemed like the Abmas-Weaver-Cunningham-Mitchell-Disu lineup was cooking today, while somewhat sizeable leads seemed to collapse nearly instantly when Hunter and/or Shedrick were in.
  5. Saw Eagles at Moody Center last night. Great show, per usual!
  6. This the attitude I have at this point - cross our fingers we get into the tournament and hope we get hot.
  7. He shot 38 percent and less than 30 percent from three. He sucked just as much as he did for us, only at a higher volume.
  8. Really nice to see the way the team has responded after that UCF loss - seems like things could have gone from bad to worse, and now we are right back in the thick of things. Hope we see Weaver take that starting spot sooner rather than later. We can compete with anybody with those five on the floor. Also, nice to see Brock finally knock one down!
  9. Walked by a bunch of recruits getting off a bus on my way to Moody. Are lambo buses the next phase of recruitment?
  10. Last night was odd - arena was suffocatingly hot in my section, had usual amount of season ticket profiteers selling to Red Raiders, team lacked energy, students not fully back/had people who look like they have never been to a game sitting behind the basket.
  11. So tough for anybody else to win the regular season conference with the kind of bullshit that happens in that building.
  12. Good game in Lawrence today. TCU up by 2 with a minute left. TCU looks pretty darn good.
  13. Strongly disagree. We were obviously the better team in the 2001 game and gift wrapped it for Colorado by repeatedly tripping over our own dicks. Last night, we lost to a great team with an unbelievable quarterback. Does it hurt and suck that we didn't get that last score? Yes. Would it have been awesome to play for it all in Houston? Yes. But frankly, Washington outplayed us for the large majority of the game and deserved to win. Misery is not something I will ever associate with last night's game - that is reserved for 2001 Colorado, Colt getting hurt against Bama, etc.
  14. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ß In German orthography, the letter ß, called Eszett (IPA: [ɛsˈtsɛt]) or scharfes S (IPA: [ˌʃaʁfəs ˈʔɛs], "sharp S"), represents the /s/ phoneme in Standard German when following long vowels and diphthongs. The letter-name Eszett combines the names of the letters of ⟨s⟩ (Es) and ⟨z⟩ (Zett) in German. The character's Unicode names in English are sharp s[1] and eszett.[1] The Eszett letter is used only in German, and can be typographically replaced with the double-s digraph ⟨ss⟩, if the ß-character is unavailable. In the 20th century, the ß-character was replaced with ss in the spelling of Swiss Standard German (Switzerland and Liechtenstein), while remaining Standard German spelling in other varieties of the German language.[2]
  15. Not unexpected but didn’t make the cut…bummer.
  16. Posted this in volleyball but doing it again here…one of my buddies in Tampa saw Nebraska’s social media team working on national champions content before the match. Sorry, losers!
  17. Buddy of mine in Tampa for the final saw the Nebraska social media team making their national championship content this morning. Let’s send this to the trash folder.
  18. Can somebody explain to me the thought process behind our ridiculously shitty non conference schedule? The wins we have over all these garbage teams will do nothing in terms of tourney resume/seeding, and it puts an incredible amount of pressure in conference play to rack up quality wins (which we will have 0 of by the end of the calendar year).
  19. I posted in the game thread, but Disu was wearing his uniform and doing pregame warmups with the team in our last game - first time I had seen that this season. So this tracks.
  20. Disu is wearing his jersey and was doing pregame warmups. I think that is the first time I have seen that this season.
  21. That is crazy. I guess it is a good time to know the right people - doesn’t sound like much was allocated for LHF.
  22. I’m around 6100 and got rejected
