  1. Has this video been posted yet? I’m almost sure it’s been posted. If not, it should be posted. This guy is insane. He also digs a lot faster than the OP.
  2. Where you at? Artisanal Hand made Locally sourced
  3. Considering everyday baths was not a thing until mid-20th century in the US (and maybe not even that); and probably not in 80% (?) of the world.
  4. I would say the mom is feeling cold.
  5. That feeling of “damn, we nailed it” can only be expressed as pure joy. Several years ago, our entire worship team got together to just play. The team leader walked us through a new song, and in the middle of playing it for the first time, we just KNEW we got it. When the song was over, the leader just looked at us and said “yeah, something like that.”
  6. We’re going to Japan for spring break. So far we’ve only booked a ryokan in Kyoto. So all of yesterday she’s pestering me about renting Japanese clothes to take pictures at different touristy spots. I said we should focus on booking hotels and seats on the bullet train. But still non stop talk about clothes rental. I finally told her I don’t give a shit about clothes. She didn’t like I’m my use of that word. But holy shit woman, let’s get the basics down first.
  7. Google calendars. We let each other see the other person's calendar. Do it on the computer, or iPhone calendar, or Google calendar app (which sucks even more).
  8. Makes sense... unless I switch out my saddle for one of these.
  9. Not enough skin. Leslie would have worn daisy dukes and a tube top to Walmart. When did Leslie pass away, and what did he die from? I remember a quick mention on the Shag or Surly, but don't remember the details.
  10. Doctor measured my blood pressure this morning. 117/71. Hell yeah!
  11. I've been re-doing my front yard the past 1-2 months. Some of the holes I tried to dig were full of roots and it was a bitch hacking the roots using a shovel, saw and hatchet. This past weekend I tried a 1" wood bit on my drill. What would have been 5 minutes with a hatchet was reduced to 2 minutes with a drill without the hard work. Why didn't I think of it earlier? ,
  12. Now that I have a rode bike, am I expected to wear spandex? Because I don't want to wear spandex. Where I live, everyone riding is fully kitted out, spandex, riding glasses, live strong bracelet like they're Lance Fuckin' Armstrong. I just want to ride the mountain to sea trail that runs past my house without looking like I'm going to race the Tour de France.
  13. Thanks. This is a similar bike as the one I mentioned further up this page. But this one was in newer condition. Since I don't have experience with clipless pedals, I put on a set of Shimano PD-EH500 pedals which had clip-in on one side and flat on the other.
  14. Adjustments. * But also induces brain farts.
  15. Chiropractors are not quacks. Mine has been amazing, any bone and body misalignment pain is gone after 2-3
  16. Buying used items - letting the original owner take the depreciated hit. I bought a bike today that was in pristine condition. Original owner bought it in 2021. I got it from him at a 40% discount.
  17. Guess what I found on FB marketplace. A Trek Domane SL5 in near new condition. Just a very small scratch on the bottom bracket. The owner threw in pedals, carbon bottle holder and a bunch of other accessories. It was a bit above my budget, but 40+% off of a new SL5. Black and burnt orange. 🤘
  18. If I had taken the money I spent on PM, and bought the stocks I bought and own, I'd be up over 1,000%. So I probably won't regret selling some PM to buy for more stock.* *Past performance is not indicative of future results.
  19. What did they think was gonna happen?
  20. Who is Wally Fairway and what did he do to be unjustly compared to me? I do my own stupid.
  21. I admit to selling 200+ oz of silver yesterday - eagles, philharmonics, Indians, bars and a bag of walking liberties. I took a hit compared to what I paid for it, but it's been on my mind to liquidate part of my silver position and buy something more portable - so I turned around and bought 2 gold maples (their gold price made up for some of the loss I took selling the silver). I was surprised how nonchalant they were about the whole transaction. They counted the 90% silver, opened up 1 tube, and just trusted what I said was in the other tubes. I have another batch of eagles, rounds and bars that I’m planning to swap for more gold. But don’t despair, I’m still keeping a few hundred ounces of the white shiny. Random thought… buying all different forms of silver or gold was fun at the time. but if I could do it again, I’d buy just 1-2 types. All future gold purchase will gold maples (best looking bullion IMO) and sovereigns.
  22. Missing 2 things… Midgets on skateboards and MTV’s Dan Cortez.
  23. Came home to her cooking - essentially boiling meats and veggies to eat with a Japanese dipping sauce. She's using a 3 qt saucepan. Cooking in batches because the surface area is too small... Me: "Why are you using pot? You can use a sautee pan and cook it all at once..." Her: "Leave me alone, I already started, just let me finish." Meanwhile the kids are getting hungry because it's taking forever.
