  1. Pretty much all of the above.
  2. The original owner on my Les Paul Classic said he removed and then reinstalled the circuitry (it has the pcb board). He likely broke it because the neck humbucker is louder when it's "tapped". I'm looking to replace it, but going on reverb and looking up "Les Paul CPB", nothing quite looks like mine, and the prices also swing wildly from $60 - $350. Any recommendations on how to find out more about what I have/need, and where to get one at a reasonable price? Don't really want to spend $350 when I only paid $1,750 for the guitar.
  3. Me thinks she may be an attention whore. Not that I'm complaining.
  4. 3rd and goal lol.
  5. Threw behind Wingo on the screen. WTF.
  6. It’s bad when I’d rather have Arch run the ball than throw it.
  7. I've been listening to a lot of audiobooks the past few years, mostly Stephen King and James Lee Burke, and a few others thrown in to mix things up. I prefer the medium over books because I can plug in my earphones and go about chores and feel productive. Another advantage of audiobooks over a movie or show, is that it allows my mind to create the visuals of the landscape, the people, the situation. Books can also take you into the characters' minds to understand their motives and emotions, which is difficult to recreate on screen without some narration or inner dialogue. The latest Stephen King short story I listened to was Summer Thunder. Basically 2 guys and a dog living their last few days after a nuclear holocaust. The older of the 2 chose to shoot himself before dying of radiation poisoning. While his younger neighbor who lived 2 miles away was putting down the dog with a hypodermic syringe filled with an opioid, he heard the gun shot. "The sound was faint at this distance. But with the lake so still, there was no mistaking it for anything else. It rolled across the hot summer air, diminished. Tried to echo. Failed." I replayed the quoted part at least 5 times. So lucid. So beautiful. So sad. Stephen King is a master of words.
  8. Congratulations on being cuckolded.
  9. A lifestyle.
  10. Your fault for marrying the president of the HOA.
  11. We went to Bali for our honeymoon in September 2008. Weather in September is phenomenal. We stayed 3 nights at a beach resort which was a bit isolated / contained, which is great when you're newlyweds and spend a lot of time getting it on. I recommend doing day yours of the temples, elephant parks, etc. We moved up to Ubud for the next 3 days where there was nominally more things to do. If you are going to the monkey park with a handful of bananas, brace yourself. The sight of 30 monkeys charging you is pretty intimidating. Also. Wood penis carvings. Lots of wood penis carvings.
  12. Truth. The icemaker on the Samsung at the old house broke within 3 years. The Samsung we bought when we moved into the current house lasted 9 years before the compressor gave up the ghost. The Samsung front load washer died in 10 years. What's the common denominator? Me the idiot who keeps buying Samsung.
  13. Hellooooooooooooooo Deanna Troi (Who is the chick wearing rollerskates?) Actually, watch all of the videos at the bottom. All of them are fantastic.
  14. I need to learn that leg sweep move.
  15. I remember hurdling over a 3 YO lying on the floor so I could record a Phil Collins song. Her parents were horrified and I got in trouble from my parents.
  16. Who uses coupons? You must be poor. Let HEB merge with Trader Joe's just to be sure.
  17. Really looking forward to 10/10. I first played Battlefield in 2002 - 2003. Sometimes I’d stay in the office late because the internet was better and I could play on the projector screen. Does anyone remember the Battlefield 1942 Desert Combat mod? Since then, I’ve put thousands of hours into 2, 3, 4 (still playing in fact), 1 and recently 2042.
  18. Got my papers 10 years ago so don't need a golden visa. Unless you mean bringing in my super model girlfriend from one of the Baltic countries.
  19. As someone who's never seen the show... please expound.
  20. From that data point alone, the weight of the glacier on Antarctica is causing the earth to be squished in the N-S axis. If all that ice was equally distributed around the world, and making the assumption (for control reasons of course) that the continents have 250'H cliffs, then the planet would be a real sphere instead of a near sphere. Good lord!
  21. Wow, look at the big brain on Brad. Yes and yes to Pville, and yes and yes to you. And my coworker said 2 INCHES, not feet.
  22. It's been nice holding GOOG, AAPL and AMZN the past few days. Portfolio recovered the $70K, and now up another $150K. All paper money until I retire.
  23. Did you not read that last sentence about doing simple math after a long week and 3 whiskies?
