  1. Huh. They mistyped "People strike back against source of funding for one of the world's most dangerous terrorists." Seems they need a better editor.
  2. Yeah....I'm really looking at converting most of my equities to cash for a time. Seems like I'm not alone in my thinking:
  3. Wrong. The cousin worked at a feed LOT. In Amarillo. I sweatergawd, pretty much that exact story, from a dude I knew from Amarillo. Like, 35 years ago. We only get stupider.
  4. That post sucks. It doesn't tell us WHICH McDonalds.
  5. Forget it Gil, it's Helobious.
  6. He'll likely fuck up several of them. But it's okay. If any of the accused are MAGA-adjacent and our DA happens to get a conviction, our governor will immediately pardon them. It's all good.
  7. I mean....you know exactly why. White supremacy = a-ok, it's the official platform of the regime. Racial equality = COMMUNISM FROM THE DEPTHS OF HELL AND MUST BE BANNED AND IS A FIREABLE OFFENSE AND YOU SHOULD DIE.
  8. When do we get the side effect of fatal cardiac arrest? That’s the best one.
  9. FIF you, in particular.
  10. Counterpoint: there will be a story about a trans kid playing high school basketball in Who Gives a Fuck, upstate New York, and every Trump voter will fall in line. Because destroying the economy, eating soup made from leaves, being subjugated to Russia, having the government empowered to kick down your door for the crime of disloyalty to the regime, are worth trading so we can make sure that Pat in Who Gives a Fuck never takes so much as a free throw. You really haven't been paying attention.
  11. And Putin is drawing up a plan to funnel billions of dollars to Donald Trump. Because duh. We have a POTUS who uses the office solely for personal enrichment, with such enrichment being in the form of either 1) money or 2) praise/loyalty/stroking his ego. Give him one of those two things, you'll get something in concern. What is actually in the interest of the United States will never even cross his mind, much less be part of the calculus. And half the voting public doesn't see that plain truth staring them in the face. It's the goddamndest thing I've ever seen.
  12. Hell, I'd like that too -- eating their own.
  13. Wait....if that's actually the play by the server who was stiffed.....I FUCKING LOVE IT. Stepanie Fucked Around. She was given the OPTION of not Finding Out, in exchange for cash. That's the American enterprising spirit right there. Why do you hate capitalism?
  14. You left out Mississippi. Mississippi is our North Star, guiding all we do. We want to be just as fucking poor, just as fucking ignorant.....but with tex-mex and oil. We're getting there, and right soon.
  15. Remember, they are also very, very, very stupid and bad at math. Accept the fact that any vaccine, like MMR, has a certain percentage chance of bad outcomes. Seriously, everything good for you has some sort of risk - broccoli is a superfood, but I guarantee you that there are a handful of people out there who are deathly allergic to it. Then accept the additional mathematical fact that a disease like measles has a certain fatality/serious/long-term complications rate. Which one of those numbers is HIGHER? That should drive your decision. I've used the analogy repeatedly here, but it holds true: these fucking idiots are the kind of people who refuse to wear a seatbelt because "seatbelts trap you in the car, and when it goes over a bridge into water or bursts into flame, being trapped kills you"....which is indeed true in some situations. There are cases where wearing a seatbelt actually CAUSES a death. The problem is....those handful of cases are vastly outweighed by all the times that wearing a seatbelt SAVES someone from death or serious injury. In 1 in 10,000 wrecks, a seatbelt causes a bad outcome. But in 1 in 10 wrecks, seatbelts save lives/prevent serious injury. Vaccine refusal is for people who are stupid bad at math.
  16. Sure, some realtors are fine. But the profession also seems to draw a certain type, which has outsized representation in its ranks: assholes who just can't seem to work well with other people/in a team/office environment. They have to be "independent business people" not because they have an unstoppable entrepreneur's spirit....but because they can't fucking get along with others. If anything goes wrong, it's someone else's fault, and "why don't these people understand how great I am?", and "they ran me off because they could tell I was too good, so it would have made all the other employees look bad," and every one of the other excuses you hear from people who just can't seem to hold down any job for very long. TLDR; the profession attracts a lot of assholes, consistent with this analysis:
  17. Bruh. He has a WWI trench knife embedded in his bedroom wall! He's the ultimate alpha male weapons guy! He also has like, these totally super-sharp throwing stars he got from the martial arts store at the mall. He's a TOTAL BADASS ALPHA MALE!
  18. Correct. Also, it would be awesome if we had some leadership as sound and well-meaning as his these days. We should yearn for the relative competence and basic decency of "bitch."
  19. All the gay foam parties you can handle. NTTAWWT.
  20. This. This shift is not a shift of "having re-evaluated our position in terms of security alliances and guarantees, we want to strike a better strategic balance, etc." Instead, it is a complete 180 degree shift in allegiances. We used to be friends with Europe, and enemies with Russia. Now, our closest friend (maybe ONLY friend) is Russia, and we are enemies of Europe (no hyperbole there, Trump has openly stated that the EU is one of our enemies). That's because the current regime -- and a large chunk of the country -- has decided that we'd rather be anti-democratic criminals than be the good guys. The regime does so because it will personally enrich them and their pals, the voters do it because they're really, really, really, really fucking stupid.
  21. Sure. It was. Before we took a giant shit on it and decided to go full retrograde. If my fellow Texans are back on board with fighting for individual liberty against oppressive tyranny, I'd love for them to join me. But Texas is full Team Santa Anna these days, so fuck 'em.
  22. Elon needs people to turn to him and beg him to be a savior. To be a savior, though.....there has to be something truly awful that people need saving FROM. Elon is trying a play that actually works: create an actual Hell, then proclaim yourself the one true God who can save people from Hell. I find it ironic that he evangelicals continue to rant about demons, the devil at work on earth, the antichrist, all of that shit....and then fall hook, line, and sinker for the EXACT plays attributed to the devil and related forces of darkness in the very book they claim to be the infallible an inerrant word of God. Irony. Is fucking. DEAD.
  23. The fact that her kids are named Paxton and Braydon is….the most predictable thing ever.
  24. Whale juice. Duh.
  25. Bingo. Seriously. This is a perfect way to capture the dichotomy. That’s a man. Does what’s right, doesn’t give a shit what you think. Not the roided up dude in his Black Rifle Coffee shirt who “doesn’t do any of that fairy shit.”
