  1. #SarkAfterDark was the way Stewart went the first time.
  2. One of his coaches actually told me that Carter has started to get it together. Dont know what that means but good for him I guess.
  3. It really is the triple option system he plays in. He has 23 carries through 6 games. Granted he averages 20 yards a carry. They've been blowing teams out. The second defenses stop double teaming him he burns them for a run to the house. It's why Tascosa has been making deep playoff runs. No one enjoys preparing for a triple option team, and when they do they know they dont have a choice but to focus on Everhart. It lets the offense just grind teams down for consistent yards, and then Everhart breaks them. Fun to watch and they punch way above their weight. Everhart, Thompson, Worthy, and Stewart would give Sark the ability to completely spread teams out. Would make having backs like Bijan and K Robinson just unfair.
  4. This is just flat wrong. Everhart has elite speed and vision. His ability to catch the ball out of the backfield was questioned because he just hadnt been used that way. Clearly not a problem for him. Teams completely sell out to stop him and he's excellent at selling that he's getting the ball, leaving others players completely open. Guy has legit football iq and it will only get better. His coaches felt bad he wasnt getting more carries in their scheme, so they let him play defense. First play of the game against lubbock high this year he had a clean pick 6 for a td. The knock on him is he's inbetween a running back and a receiver, so pretty much the opposite of measurables outside of speed. He's a gadget player. If anything, his football acumen is part of what makes him so incredibly dangerous for a defense. Oh btw, much like speedster Keilan Robinson, hes a fantastic special teams player. Banks would do great things with him.
  5. Home team (us this year) can give recruits tickets to the game in their section, but there’s not supposed to be any contact between them and the staff at the game.
  6. The argument about his arm strength is especially frustrating. Just bc you overthrow deep routes doesnt mean you have a strong arm. Sometimes it means you have to chunk it as hard as you can to prevent an under throw and you lose your timing and touch with your receiver. Seen a lot of that with Thompson.
  7. At least try to court him a little bit and see if you can get him to hold off until December. I get it’s a numbers deal but the kid is electric. My favorite recruit this cycle.
  8. Same, unless he lights it up as a freshman next year and we are stuck in the big 12 until 2023.
  9. His only big Power 5 offer was from ND and he doesnt want to go that far from home. TCU made him a priority. Just under the radar up in Amarillo for no reason with Avion Carter and B Thompson being big recruits. Tascosa runs the triple O and that definitely doesnt help, but Patterson knows it doesnt make a shit. Frustrating.
  10. Everhart is committing to TCU tomorrow. I really fucking wanted to see what that kid can do in Sark's offense.
  11. They were all in on BT. They got out recruited, and they just found out their slapdick handler oversold their position. This one drew blood, and they're realizing their fears about Texas in the SEC are coming true. The less regarded ones are starting to see the writing on the wall. The full on agtistic ones wont understand whats happening to them until the power gets knocked out in the bunker and Jimbo and Karen swallow cyanide pills.
  12. Would be news to me that’s he’s a long shot. It’s got a lot of moving parts but those elite kids are always tougher recruitments. Texas can get him, and they are gonna be competitive.
  13. Aggy just couldn’t afford to lose to Arkansas, and they really couldn’t afford to Miss St. Their whole staff has basically been guaranteeing a 10 win season since last season ended. You can’t stop this train kind of talk. They are organized for a very big weekend. By organized I mean a year’s worth of recruiting plans have gone into it. A blowout loss will be catastrophic. I know that sounds hyperbolic considering they’ve already been thoroughly embarrassed, but they’ve been looking these kids in the eye and telling them this is when the program takes the next step. They simply can’t afford to get blown out.
  14. Live look from college station this weekend.
  15. Bourbon Meyer and LSU seem like a match made in heaven. An by heaven, I mean swamptrash hell.
  16. Thats what I figure too. Really sucks. A well timed SEC announcement for next year wouldve been so sweet as aggy burns to the ground.
  17. Crystal says SEC in 2023, seemed confident about it. Not sure that can be taken to the bank, because it's Crystal.
  18. I'll be shocked if LSU is a big factor in Harris recruitment. They've had some interesting tactics in that recruitment that I can't imagine have worked out that well.
  19. Texas is 100% still in the Harris recruitment. He's giving us pretty much every chance we could ask for to land his signature. I'd go as far to say that assuming we are as competitive as Bama the rest of the way in before he decides, I like our chances more than anyone else's.
  20. We already knew the kid is obsessed with social media, not sure what people expected from this recruitment.
  21. He did not. I think he will. Not worrying about UIL eligibility will put his focus on recruiting. Only way he shuts it down is if Florida puts a deal in front of him thats a no brainer.
