No I haven’t. Why would I? How does it matter at all?
  2. Could be a bit premature to insist he's a hit. I just think he's an elite athlete when healthy, which is of course the rub. IF he stays healthy all year, I think we will have to consider him a hit. I'm convinced if healthy he will be a standout player on the team. And yea, he's no Jordan Shipley. But if thats the bar to decide if a WR is a hit or not, then there needs to be a sixth star. After all, Shipley was a War Daddy.
  3. I was talking about the d line. And Whittington is a hit not a miss.

There's no reason why we cant return to a culture of hard nosed football. It's in our DNA. https://www.statesman.com/article/20121108/NEWS/311089622 Some of that is fluff, but you dont have to imagine whether or not he had trouble getting his guys to play their guts out.
  5. We need a 5 star instant game changer in this class.
  6. Johnson is the only composite Top 100 player on the two deep. Do I even need to type out what we need?
  7. There's basically not a position group on the whole team that isn't attractive for elite talent to have the opportunity for early playing time.

I think we have enough on the roster now to win the Big 12. Our mentality last Saturday was just so poor. When your O-line gets dominated like that, it's a clear sign that they're mentally softer than baby shit. They played scared and the Arkansas D Line just engorged themselves on the fear. The game looks very different if our lineman went out there with a nasty attitude. Our line still wouldve technically gotten beat bc they arent that good, but if they put up a game long street fight no way we get blown out and we may have been able to squeek out a win.

We should only have one goal. To build the most hated program in the country. Hated for our natural advantages, hated for our indifference towards other programs, and especially hated for the ruthless way we apply all of those advantages to the football field. Instead, for too long, our admins wanted our athletic programs to be perceived like Stanford. (Shocker.) They bristle at the optics of us caring too much about sports, and they've never faced the music for this attitude because the department still prints money even when we suck. Something I heard for years by both fans and people inside belmont- the SEC is a bad cultural fit for Texas. Anyone who has ever uttered those words is a huge fucking pussy. There shouldnt be a single conference that is a "cultural fit" because we shouldnt care one iota what other schools think of us. I'm beyond excited to join the SEC. Not because they have great tailgating or tradition or any of that stupid bs. It's because they are clearly the best conference and I want to burn it to the ground and piss on the ashes. The model is out there under Saban. They truly believe theyre in a class of their own, and they believed it before the results proved it.

Just ask Conan The Barbarian what is best in life. Hint- it isn't money.
  11. When the O line gets dominated like that it can be hard to tell. Sark was way too late in going to Thompson and getting him out of the pocket and to our playmakers in space. The O couldnt give our defense a breather so eventually it just breaks down and everything goes out the window. Sark was part of the problem for sure, he just didnt call a very good game. It is what it is, we got hit hard in the mouth and everyone froze. It happens to new teams.
  12. We have very good assistants that I trust can develop these kids. I know its a tough sell, but in order to get this thing fixed our alums are going to have to divorce recruiting from on the field results. If Sark starts to death spiral, we cant throw our hands up and say fuck this. We gotta double down and try to cultivate a self sustaining system of NIL support. I'm already getting a bunch of texts and emails with guys furious with Sark. It's insane. One fucking game. Expectations are way out of whack. Changing staffs rarely comes with immediate championship results. We gotta have people willing to invest with long time horizons. 5, 10, 30 years. If we consistently apply our advantages, it will get fixed over time. And coaches know this stuff. If we bail on our new coach too quickly, what are future candidates going to think? If we do our damndest to stock the cupboard and build for the future despite what happens on the field, what are future candidates going to think? Thats how to get out of this hole. Blind persistence.
  13. Flood can improve this bunch but your point is well taken. I think if there's anything that can be achieved under Sark is we can fix things in the trenches for the next guy. There's only one way to do it, we shall see.
  14. This is the thread right here. We need to get beyond aggressive.
  15. I'm not panicking. O-line is who I thought they were. It's gotta get fixed for next year. Arkansas will always be a tough game for us. Obv this fucks with our recruiting, but it isnt gonna get handed to us. Train isnt off the rails yet.
  16. CU coach has his team ready to play but the offensive playcalling is awful. We would beat aggy by 100 right now.
  17. hahahahahhahahahaha Calzoney is complete ass
  18. Fuck CU just take the 3 points they have Calzoney.
  19. Reports coming out that H King is out for the season with a severe case of butthole eyes.
  20. They proportion their team based on vacation home owners and their home states.
  21. Im gonna need a ventilator just to not die from laughing.
  22. King got the shit knocked out of him and it came out of his eyes.
  23. This is just another sign that come hell or high water we are playing in the SEC next year. The reality is, the SEC media day leak fucked up a lot of plans. There was more work to be done to ensure once we pulled the lever, enough Big 12 teams would already have options for them to move to another conference. The GoR wouldve dissolved and that would be that. Sharp found out about it, and knew it was too late to stop it. So all he could do was draw some blood. I still dont understand why the AD and Jimbo got hung out to dry like that. They didn't know.
