Yes, we should hear what govt officials have to say about it. But we shouldn't have to hear what you or anyone else has to say about govt officials in this thread except when directly commenting on their direct comments or actions in relation to this event. Spew your hate for either side in CR where it belongs.
The problem is Trump would definitely blame this shit on the biden administration if they were in charge. He has never let a good crisis go to waste politically. So complaining about the other side doing it appears quite a bit hypocritical. Sure this particular incident most likely had nothing to do with the shitshow going down since Trump took office, but at some point what is good for the goose is good for the gander. I mean, Trump has unabashedly been full of shit blaming a closed faucet from the PNW for the fires in LA, then trying to collect props for getting the military to open that faucet up, all complete and objective bullshit, but if you respond to that newsworthy bullshit as being bullshit, oh no , that needs to be in the Cloak Room. Fact is Trump has blurred a lot of lines, unfortunately the biggest is the american public's acceptance of basic verifiable facts, so it is not surprising when you might see some comments you find a tad too political bleed into the Daily Texan.
