Spoiler:  Quinn's not going to be elite next year.  Maybe in the future, but I'm not trying to get too far ahead of myself.

We just need the right the ship at this point.  I don't anticipate going full Michigan and getting into the playoffs next season.  But not losing by 50 to Bama and winning 9 regular season games is a darn good step in the right direction and should be attainable.  Anything better than that next season is gravy.

I would hope that Quinn would be able to play at the level of RS freshman like Stroud and Young played this year. It’s definitely unfair but that’s his pedigree.

Think you mean Choice, not Coleman.  But point taken.  It's been a much better offseason than any of us could have anticipated given how badly we crapped the bed.

I think having above average qb play will be a huge factor for us next year.  It'll help our defense out as well because we can't possibly have as many 3 and outs and/or turn the ball over on downs at midfield nearly as often I wouldn't think.  OU and West Virginia getting decimated in the portal.  Iowa State losing their upperclassmen.  Can't fathom losing to Kansas again (course I couldn't fathom it this season either).  But has to be better next year I'd think.

Good take but unfortunately we need Quinn to be elite. We’ve invested a ton of resources and sacrificed potential starting QB’s in Milroe, Casey, and possibly Arch towards Quinns success. We need him to be better than above average imo….The good news is that we have the talent around him to really make some noise as early as this year. Sark’s tenure is going to live or die on the arm of Quinn. There’s no room for excuses we have to get it done.

I don't think Day will go to Chicago this offseason but his and Riley's career arc will be fun to watch over the next 10 years. They both inherited very specific cultures, talented rosters, and enough potential to continue to recruit at a high level.

It took Riley 5 years, but through a series of questionable hires and diminishing results, he tanked the culture and left behind a roster in shambles.

Day just finished year 4 where his major accomplishments were demoting his DC midseason, getting smoked in the only game that matters for them, and nearly losing his bowl game to a team full of try hard 3 stars. Maybe even worse, fOSU has 16 5*s currently on the roster, one less than Utah has 4*s.

I think both Day and Riley lack the requisite head coaching skills of culture/roster management that contributes so significantly to the long term prospectus for teams they inherited. Riley bolted - what will Day do?

Day is one year removed from playing for a natty

This is what happens when you are a LB who is worth a damn. You go to the school that recruited you into the portal despite having 20 other offers from schools who didn't.

First of all the kid was a true freshman. And secondly you should see the quoted tweets to that tweet. He’s getting lots of buzz.

check the quoted tweets to this one also.

Thanks for confirming that Hooks has been a figure in the training scene since well before 2017, as well as charging for summer camps before 2017. I really appreciate you confirming everything I said initially about him being a presence in football training circles before 2017. It means a lot since you know the guy.

Ok in that case, every football coach in the state who conducts workouts at their school of employment for players at that school are trainers.
