So, you are good with paying him millions per year to learn his job?
No, but its year one and I think that I can clearly see the vision. I don't care if he is ass salad this program does not need to make another HC change for the next 5 years so patience is the way to go. You keep firing coaches and you turn into UF or Nebraska or Tennessee or Florida State. That scares me

I think that Sark is being treated unfairly. He has done some good things and I am glad that he's here. But boy does he need to learn how to manage maintaining a lead.

Fuck this. This is the type of move Sark needs to be making. I’d tell PK to go fuck off if GP came and called our D. Make every move possible to make you better, who gives a fuck about the past.
These fans claim that they want to win then talk as if they are above hiring Gary Patterson to run their defense.. poverty.

Lets see if Sark really learned from Saban. Saban would scoop him up in a heartbeat.

Firing PK after one year would take some big balls. I don’t think he’s got it in him. Defense has not been historically bad but just bad enough to not be any good haha. Firing coordinators doesn’t always work look at Ed O, Herman, and Helton.

Demas has 9 catches for 176 and a TD this year. Worthy has more than that in the OU game alone. If its truly us vs aggy then that is fantastic news

Who is he referring to?

It doesn’t seem like the staff gives a shit about keeping Blue.
Makes sense… the nerve of this kid to get kicked off a team, not play a senior season, and think he’s supposed to be treated like some crowned jewel. It is crazy though because when he committed in February it was such a big deal lol things change fast.

Is there anyway that we can get the thread name changed to something that’s safe for work networks?

Sark's been out of the saddle for a while. There is the possibility and opportunity for growth as a head coach versus what he's shown so far this year and what he showed when he was a drunk. Notwithstanding any comparisons, I think some patience is called for to see if he can figure some things out. He's got several good traits to build on and a pretty good supporting cast. He would have to be a complete moron to not learn from some of the basic shit that is holding him back, because he is clearly more open minded and introspective than some of the other mo-fos who have coached here.
What exactly are his issues?

Can you walk us through the positive signs you're seeing? I mean, outside of spilling coffee all over my electronics in my office this morning and dreading a 2 hour meeting later today that I've been dreading for over two months, I'm having a super sweet day, but I could still use the entertainment.
The offense is aesthetically pleasing and you can clearly see the vision. I love his aggressive nature of game management and I think we are giving our best players the ball. He generally gives me good vibes

Thinking about what would be going on right now with Urban Meyer vs what is actually going on is not my idea of fun.
I've got faith, but Urban was a "Texas is definitely back pretty much right now" hire.
I really like coach sark and I think he relates well with this generations athlete. An easy guy to root for. He just desperately needed to change the narrative year one and not lose to an Arkansas or not blow big leads ect. So he’s still got his work cut out but I’ve seen positive signs. Defense is such a letdown though.

I really expected our D to be much better. My belief wasn't based on kool aid but I just thought we had a much better staff than what we have shown.

Raiola Fong'd to Georgia. mArch for Arch continues.
Oh my. Just for fun, which do you think generates more positive recruiting buzz for the program.. an Arch commitment or if Urban would’ve said yes? From all accounts it seems than manning pretty much guarantees an influx of blue chip talent like no other prospect in a long time

Thanks for the thoughtful response but I believe that we will add two transfer tackles and let Jones compete at guard. Junior may not be here he is a day three pick right now and could only move up depending on his combine numbers. If Texas could land one interior and exterior OL I’d be happy with where we are but a year isn’t gonna magically make this current bunch much better. It’s a talent issue not a chemistry issue from what I have seen.

he is a better coach than this board gives him credit for. he is just not flashy

I think its extremely likely that texas has three to four new OL starters next year. this season is a wash and its sad because there was potential.

Highly doubt Banks would take a job in the NW.
It’s his alma mater where he lettered. Different deal

11.1.21 Coach Sark PC @ 11am

My eyes see that he is putting players in a position to be successful and the players are failing to execute. I am also choosing not to be a toxic, irrational fan in the sense that I am willing to admit that under the previous regime Bijan would not have been given the opportunity to shine and worthy would not have touched the field as a freshman until this week lol. I am also willing to acknowledge that things aren't as bad as they seem. We have blown three straight double digit second half leads. Leads that the previous staff would have never even achieved. Sark needs to be better but im not gonna sit here and act like he is incompetent and the sole reason for our failures too. At some point we are going to have to give people time to build. But yeah, he deserves some angst but to want his head at this point is unfair in my opinion.
