I've got some great old footage of Cedric vs Roy from Lee vs Permian in the late 90s. A couple of the Lee football banquet highlight videos with that game on it. Roy played both ways so there were plenty of Roy/Ced encounters. They are VHS and I always wanted to make a Cedric HS highlight video from those tapes, but never was able to get them converted to digital. It was from the stretch where Ced led us to 3 state titles and a USA Today #1 ranking in 99. Most people don't realize how ridiculous Cedric was in HS. The tapes include playoff games against BJ Johnson at South Grand Prairie, Derrick Johnson at Waco and Houston Street at Westlake. I'm sure there are more I'm forgetting.

If anyone wants to give it a shot, let me know and I can send you the tapes (If I can find them).

"White cops murder unarmed Blacks daily."
That is so far from the truth. Why blatantly lie about this?
From this LINK
The incidents that drive the protests and organization of Black Lives Matter are largely focused on the police use of lethal force on unarmed blacks. Figure 2 below, shows the cumulative number of unarmed Blacks (no weapon of any kind) killed by police from 2015 through half of 2018. While the number of unarmed Blacks killed by police dropped by half between 2015 and 2016, from 38 to 17, in 2017 and the trend so far in 2018 shows no sign of further decline. While lacking data-backed statistical analysis, it is no stretch to imagine that the Black Lives Matters protests contributed to the decline. The impact of protests likely drove police departments (in locales of protest or distant police departments wanting to avoid the same lethal errors) to adopt new policies seek out new training, or more widely distribute less lethal tools like Tasers.
These numbers are unacceptable and the problem is real, but EVERY DAY? I don't understand the need to lie.

These two completely different realities are wild to observe.
The ending better not be anticlimactic.

Fuck Dave Winfield. I was at a Rangers game when Nolan was pitching. He took a no-hitter into the 8th inning (it would have been his 8th) and Winfield broke it up with a single up the middle.
I was at that game sitting down the 3rd base line. Being 7 years old, I wasn't paying much attention to the game, but I do remember some guy a few rows back having a heart attack or some other medical emergency and EMS showing up. My Dad kept trying to explain that seeing a Nolan Ryan no-hitter would be a big deal. Then it wasn't.

Am I supposed to love or hate Rod Rosenstein? I never know when this shit depends on the wind.
Here are some of his quotes from the article.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein defended the Justice Department’s handling of the special counsel’s still-secret report, saying Attorney General William Barr is “being as forthcoming as he can” about his process for redacting and releasing the roughly 400-page document.
"He’s being as forthcoming as he can, and so this notion that he’s trying to mislead people, I think is just completely bizarre,” Mr. Rosenstein said.
“It would be one thing if you put out a letter and said, ‘I’m not going to give you the report,’ ” Mr. Rosenstein said. “What he said is, ‘Look, it’s going to take a while to process the report. In the meantime, people really want to know what’s in it. I’m going to give you the top-line conclusions.’ That’s all he was trying to do.”
I guess we'll find out.

Comparing Fyre and Ultra is hilarious.
Edit: Here, I'll help.
Fyre never happened and has been sued.
Ultra has been going on since 1999 and has these accolades. Totally the same thing.
