  2. If it was a thing in high school, aggy does it in college. "Rivalry" shirts, class rings, feeble attempts at being accepted by your peers, etc.
  3. Looks like they are changing how we see if a we participated in a thread/thread has new posts. Previously it was the double quote icon. Black for threads you've posted in, white for threads you hadn't. Now stars for threads you've posted in, circles for those you haven't and using the burnt orange fill to notify you of new content. Or something like that. Or it was part of the recent maintenance and I hadn't noticed. Who knows? Borked.
  4. This is becoming an aggy turdition.
  5. Didn't see this posted, but here is an awesome video narrated by Tom Brokaw called D-Day Normandy 1944 that played in IMAX. LINK to video

  11. I love a good brisket hash with over easy egg on top.
  12. I've got some great old footage of Cedric vs Roy from Lee vs Permian in the late 90s. A couple of the Lee football banquet highlight videos with that game on it. Roy played both ways so there were plenty of Roy/Ced encounters. They are VHS and I always wanted to make a Cedric HS highlight video from those tapes, but never was able to get them converted to digital. It was from the stretch where Ced led us to 3 state titles and a USA Today #1 ranking in 99. Most people don't realize how ridiculous Cedric was in HS. The tapes include playoff games against BJ Johnson at South Grand Prairie, Derrick Johnson at Waco and Houston Street at Westlake. I'm sure there are more I'm forgetting. #csb If anyone wants to give it a shot, let me know and I can send you the tapes (If I can find them).
  13. I like the added touch at the end of this version around :45.
  14. "White cops murder unarmed Blacks daily." That is so far from the truth. Why blatantly lie about this? From this LINK The incidents that drive the protests and organization of Black Lives Matter are largely focused on the police use of lethal force on unarmed blacks. Figure 2 below, shows the cumulative number of unarmed Blacks (no weapon of any kind) killed by police from 2015 through half of 2018. While the number of unarmed Blacks killed by police dropped by half between 2015 and 2016, from 38 to 17, in 2017 and the trend so far in 2018 shows no sign of further decline. While lacking data-backed statistical analysis, it is no stretch to imagine that the Black Lives Matters protests contributed to the decline. The impact of protests likely drove police departments (in locales of protest or distant police departments wanting to avoid the same lethal errors) to adopt new policies seek out new training, or more widely distribute less lethal tools like Tasers. These numbers are unacceptable and the problem is real, but EVERY DAY? I don't understand the need to lie.
