I suggest you keep that little nugget to yourself in this instance...

You could do worse. If confirmation is needed, just ask @NeverMarryAStripper

Yeah, I'm going to have to call Bovine Scatology on the premise that the VW was parked right there DURING the fires and came out looking like that....

This is all you need right here
Well, this sent me down a YouTube rabbit hole. The company whose pilot was interviewed for this clip (Dauntless Air) is based in Minnesota, but has three hangars with one of them being in Cleburn. That plane is part crop duster, part seaplane, part (water) bomber, and is the largest production single engine plane on the market. Those pilots make it look easy. It isn't.

The analytical brain in me wonders how much trial and error went into finding the right size probe that would pull a sufficient amount of water quickly without jerking the nose down too hard towards the water. That's some serious science at work right there.

I don't get the VLC Media Player reference, and something tells me I should be happy about that fact.

I'm not a pilot, but it sounds more like a crap ton of pilot error. Even if they did lose both engines to bird strikes (a la Miracle on the Hudson), they were airborne more than twice the amount of time that Sully was, plus they did a go around teardrop which would be next to impossible with no thrust. Could the APU have been damaged and wouldn't start? Maybe, but with the redundancy built into airlines I would think that would be highly unlikely.

By @Nicole44 of all people. You think she will miss a good death story?

The cookies were made (or paid for) BY the kids. They haven't learned that valuable life lesson yet.

He may well be tuning over in his grave (were he already buried) at all the Hook 'Ems that post received, but I contributed one as well. Well written.

Cardiac rhythm management.
I would say Old Fashioned's as well, but I know there is way too much competition in this crowd.

SBB, stay vigilant with watching your cornhole. New spark-ups could appear, winds could shift, no telling what might happen next!

In @Brisketexan's defense, this thread is for mash-ups made from what is available when supplies are scarce. You know that bread will be the last bread eaten in the house.
