  1. Wut 35 plastered a guy well after the play. It’s an easy call.
  2. The Florida example proves the point. Napier does not get the kind of contract he received in today’s NIL world. It’s better to hire a relatively unproven coordinator type and set up a bigger player budget. The inverse Kentucky.
  3. The first coach in history coaching so his 20 year old gf can get more Instagram followers. I’m just glad it’s not at my school.
  4. Oregon’s coach coked out of his mind. If you have done cocaine before you know.
  5. It would be awesome for someone to find the exact moment he hurt his thumb and find out it was after that controversial TD.
  6. Now being reported he is having surgery. That’s one way to get through the Florida and OU games. Through attrition.
  7. Why do I doubt he misses the Texas game?
  8. It was like a real life experiment to see how long a coach could quit on the job before he got fired. In this case it was over two years.
  9. We probably do not need two threads dedicated to Mike Gundy on a Texas fan site.
  10. We are all waiting on pins and needles for your next football assessment of our program.
  11. Your schtick of constant sunshine pumping and your ability to be so sanguine as a Texas fan is commendable. The lashing out at all of the haters is the echeese trademark sir so make sure your royalty checks are ready.
  12. I’m starting to love the schtick. It’s like the old echeese guy from back in the day except you spell things correctly.
  13. I’m sure it’s been over analyzed and honestly it really does not mean much at the end of the day. But when I saw him shove Sark in the chest because he was so excited I wondered what kind of shit he was on. Like did Johntay Cook give him some of his medicine before the game?
  14. I have no problem with a little shit talking but it feels a little cheeky to play like the worst QB in college football for three weeks then flex after scoring a TD on a likely 1-11 football team. Some of the stuff we saw from Arch felt a little bit like overcompensating on the psychological side. He wants to flex like that after running over an OU defender? Awesome. But that flex last night felt a little gross to me.
  15. Finally was able to watch the game this morning. I was worried at first because Robertson really struggled at center to start. Thankfully it was the mental/assignment variety as opposed to not being strong enough or having two left feet like Stroh. Robertson actually played pretty well after about midway through the first quarter. I think Hutson has to play guard just to get Stroh out of the lineup.
  16. If you follow ztejas posting history, it points to the latter.

They will have Dallas Wilson, the true freshman WR likely when they play us and that guy is going to be a problem. That is of course if Lagway is able to throw the ball downfield.
  18. Last week we played a garbage opponent and could not block them or throw to open receivers. It doesn’t mean you should book tickets to the playoffs yet but it was very important for the offense to play well against a bad defense. If we didn’t play well last night it would be panic time and now (hopefully) we can have more confidence going into Florida.

There were several sacks that happened after four or five seconds of him standing in the pocket. He has no internal clock, apparently. He also had multiple sacks where he decided to run up the middle thinking there was a lane that did not exist resulting in a -1/2 yard loss that counted as a sack. Of the 10 sacks at least half were 100% on Arnold making bad decisions.

I think they are going to blitz Arch 95% of the time and wreck havoc on our line. I think our defense can hang with them.
  21. Newy25 replied to Constant's topic in Football
I think that is a catch.
  22. Newy25 replied to Constant's topic in Football
Number 4 for OU is having a game for the ages. Not in the good way.
  23. Newy25 replied to Constant's topic in Football
At this point you just have to assume the refs have mortgaged their house and bet OU money line.
  24. For a couple hundred thousand we could have had a pretty good running back room. Instead we have seven figures of NIL dedicated to spare parts and below average players.
  25. It’s frustrating watching great running backs create plays for their offense like Williams at Tech.
