  1. But OU is really great at developing players.
  2. As our baseball team moved up the rankings our projected points increased. However, the projected points maybe too optimistic. As the #1 baseball team, if we don’t end up winning the CWS, then we drop points compared to the projected total.
  3. Where has it been confirmed that Paige is not straight?
  4. I have another Texas story that you'll enjoy hearing from the same neighbor. In 2005, they picked up Michael Huff from the airport. They asked him what clubs or restaurants he wanted to visit while he was in Oklahoma City. Michael said he wasn't there for any of that and that he had early morning workouts planned, probably to prepare for the upcoming draft.
  5. One of my neighbors is on the committee to pick the Thorpe award winner. He said that Jahdae was one of the most impressive young men he’s met in the last 25 years while serving on the committee.
  6. Plus, there's minor speculation that A&M could move on from their baseball coach. His buyout is $3 million.
  7. I’m glad to have found this thread. My boss is a big Chelsea fan. 10 years ago he assigned everyone a team in the EPL to root for. I got Liverpool and have been following them since.
  8. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/43624832/texas-tech-college-football-transfer-portal-nil-recruiting Tech just had the #2 transfer portal class. One of the Double Eagle founders helped to make that happen. I think if one of our boosters was willing to spend and had a huge bump in net worth it would impact our team. If Tech was willing to commit $1 million to a softball player, they might go even higher for a blue chip football player.
  9. I'm in the oil industry, and I saw an article that Diamondback is in talks to buy Double Eagle IV for $5 billion. Looks like those guys that helped get Canady to Texas Tech have even more to spend.
  10. I can't say I'm sorry to hear that ESPN rated OU's 2025 class as the most disappointing. Lack of star talent at QB, DB, and WR. They summarize the class by saying "In a conference that has seven teams among the top-10 classes and for a program that has made four playoff appearances, this class lacks the impact to propel them within the SEC and return them to national prominence." National signing day - Winners, losers and takeaways from 2025 recruiting - ESPN
  11. ESPN names 4 of our recruits as either 1 or 2 in the country at their position. Ffrench, Terry, Jonah Williams, and Terry.
  12. https://reg.uga.edu/general-information/calendars/academic-calendars/ Georgia’s deadline has passed, but I don’t know how that affects things.
  13. Supposedly it would have freed BV to do more head coaching things. Kind of like UT hiring an offensive coordinator to free up Sark.
  14. I chuckled at what this PSU fan said: I heard from an insider close to the family with insider knowledge. He believe Oklahoma offers both the best chance to win it all, and to be close to his family and friends he has made over the years. Oklahoma has exceeded the penn state offer and he is ready to accept. It will be announced shortly now.
  15. Their 2022 class, which was ranked as #1 all-time on signing day, was re-ranked by ESPN as the 25th best class of 2022.
