  1. KSU: 31 UT: 24 KSU punting: 230 yards I have a bad feeling for the first time all year primarily due to our lack of RZ success & it being MM second start. Please let me be wrong.
  2. Is your argument that you haven't seen these EXACT plays out of these EXACT formations? If so, I'd say that a lot of that depends on defensive tendencies & offensive strengths.
  3. I went to find these incredible plays and saw mostly the same plays I see us run only executed better. Not sure if that was the point or not, but it is fun to watch his plays be executed to near perfection.
  4. Personally wealthy so you don't have to pay him too much - check OL experience - check by all accounts a meathead - check history as a head coach - check abrasive personality - check and to put the cherry on top of this: played for Jackie Sherrill at Pitt!! This guy sounds like a lock to replace Addazio at the end of the season
  5. The ball went right through his fucking hands and hit his chest. You can show all the angles you want of the DBs hand being by his chest but if he catches it with his hands like AD typically does then it's a TD. If MM throws it sooner then X doesn't have to slow down & the DB doesn't have time to catch up and it's a TD. Great route & separation with shit to show for it because apparently he though he was catching a beach ball instead of a football. Great throw but it was late and allowed for the attempted catch to be contested. Also, could have been called offensive PI. X didn't have the greatest of days as a WR, MM didn't have a great day (but certainly passable for his first start), goal line offense had a miserable game, & we still won by 29. Clean it up, even just a little bit, & KSU won't be an issue.
  6. The argument of "he shouldn't have set his feet" is coming from what Herbstreit said on the broadcast after they came back from commercial break. You're arguing with someone who would have apparently preferred that QE throw over the middle into a small window with his right foot in front of his left foot & who would have criticized that throw when it was way off instead of hitting his TE in the hands. His TE that slowed down on the route and drifted (notice the hop skip at the 6) while QE was throwing & then proceeded to not catch the ball cleanly. It was a good play by the OU safety but it should have been a TD.
  7. "She did great" - lol, I'm sure Rick thought so as well
  8. Coming in second to the greatest QB of all time isn't too bad. Just like Vince!
  9. No shit. Anthony Richardson got drafted based 100000% on potential. The guy couldn't hit the broad side of a barn last year but had a great combine & a strong arm so the Colts took him 4th. Not in the 4th round, 4th overall. Of course, it's highly likely Irsay was on a bender, but he was getting picked in the top half of the 1st round regardless. NFL teams are going to love that he's being coached by Sark, he's accurate, he's got a blazing fast release, & he's got a very strong arm. His biggest problem would likely be how loaded this QB draft class has a chance to be. Williams, Maye, Daniels, Travis, Penix, Sanders, McCarthy - lots of really good college QBs this year that could/should be in the draft.
  10. There are 19 teams with 0 or 1 loss & we're one of them. We control our own destiny in the Big 12, we (likely) control our own destiny in the CFP, we have a top 15 ranked offense & top 10 ranked defense, & have a very winnable game this week. As long as Sark keeps his head out of his ass when we get into the red zone (3 TDs & 1 FG vs. UH in 4 trips) & MM avoids big mistakes we'll be fine.
  11. If good Spencer Rattler shows up vs a&m then 11 points is way too much & SCAR may win outright. Of course, if normal Spencer Rattler shows up then 11 isn't near enough & a&m may go crazy & hang 30 on them.
  12. a&m beating a nationally ranked Tennessee in Knoxville during the CBS game of the week is anything but a "no lose" for us. It may not cause the recruiting avalanche that beating Bama would have, but it would certainly help them. I hope they get blown out in the first half & Tennessee runs up the score in the second half with back ups & walk ons. Questions about Jimbo's future while media heads are constantly bringing up how stupid his contract is during their bye week would just be so great.

    3rd and 9

He was aggressive all fucking day until that moment & he puckers. He had a chance to end the game with the ball in his hands & his decision is to make an OU team, whose normal offense is run at 1000mph, burn a TO that they don't really need anyways. Didn't trust his QB who had been perfect since the 2nd quarter, didn't trust his WRs who had made a lot of plays, didn't trust his TEs who had made several big catches. Maybe he was thinking he could get it to 4th & 2 or so and bring in Red but we were stopped at 4th & 4. Doesn't matter, go for it there. It was a bitch decision in the biggest possible moment. The 1st & goal from the 1 featured a couple of bad play calls, but at least he was aggressive. Being a pussy isn't how you beat a decent OU team.
  14. 45-23 UT pulls away late like they have all season. 185 rushing yards as OU stacks the box to make Quinn beat them, & he does.
  15. UT by 20+ if Sanders is available at >90%. If he's limited or doesn't play then we may only beat them by 10ish. We have better, more proven talent at every position & it's not that close on both sides of the LOS, WR, CB, or TE (if Sanders is playing). Can OU beat us? Sure, it's the RRS for fucks sake, but Sark has had UT more than ready for this game both years he's been here & Caleb Williams/LR aren't walking out the tunnel at half time this year. 45-23 UT continues pulling away from teams in the second half.
  16. We didn't want to blow them out too early and everyone miss the cool drone display. Duh.
  17. Jimbo's a&m has won exactly 3 true road games (not counting 2020) @SCAR '18, @Ole Miss '19, & @Mizzou '21. The only neutral site game that you may be able to add would be vs. CO in '21 in a game that was played in Denver. So, assuming they don't win @Tenn. & Bama beats them like they should if Milroe is playing, that puts them at 3-3 with the Arky game being the difference between 3-4 or 4-3. What's going to be really interesting to watch is what happens if/when they go into their bye week on a 2 or maybe 3 game losing streak. How many of the NFL draft prospects (I'm just assuming they have 2-3) are coming back after the bye if they have to win out just to go to a bowl game? How many people are going to sit out to avoid injuries & transfer after the season? How many are going to be smoking pot in the locker room or playing tokyo drift in parking garages? If they can manage to win 2 of the next 3 then maybe they can keep it together but that seems really unlikely right now & 0-3 seems as likely as 1-2. To me the Arky game is the difference between 4-8/5-7 or 7-5 because of how much quit that team is going to have if they lose it & the odds that they lose one they shouldn't as guys quit on the season.
