  1. the battle of possible bowl eligibility, high stakes here. really nice to see the defense ready to roll too, lol. we're gonna need a miracle to build a halftime lead to inevitably blow.
  2. i'll buy it, woodward loves the big contract offers and handing over the keys. and i think riley takes it. why not? i do sense, without a shred of evidence, some behind the scenes scuffling going on at ou sucks. and i'd say, continuing the speculation - they'd land aranda.
  3. bo davis taking over defensive playcalling duties.
  4. 7 pts vs. baylor is worthy of embarrassment.
  5. are we witnessing the beginnings of sumlin level qb mismanagement? would be glorious to see transfers from williams and rattler like murray and allen.
  6. baylor is leading in: passing yards rushing yards recieving yards 3rd down efficiency 4th down efficiency completions interceptions thrown yards per attempt rushing attempts yards per rush time of possession total yards
  7. can we compensate players based on performance? i think ultimately that's where this is going. you may have a highly recruited freshman at any given position with a mil in guarantees right now. what happens when said player pulls a a gg? i think it's the players right now. part of it is the shifting landscape in cfb. we have to pay for elite players. i think we should pay for elite performances. i'd love to see our strategy shift towards - we'll pay you more than any other program, as long as you show commitment and dominance. let's flex.
  8. ou sucks hasn't looked solid all season, eeks out wins. i hope their luck runs out here, and i think it will. because ou sucks, and also because aranda could use a win over an overrated team to boost his resume to get the fuck out of rape town. and fuck baylor, too.
  9. trying to take an objective view here, i'd sympathize a bit more with rittenhouse if his testimony were approaching truthful. i'd like to think i was open-minded enough to be receptive to hearing his side of the story when he went on the stand. and i would have empathized more if he'd said "look, this was a crazy situation. i wasn't prepared for it. it was incredibly unfortunate what happened, and i'm devastated that what happened, happened. but i was left with no other choice." if the tears were genuine, and genuine remorse was conveyed, that would sit better with me. instead, he took every opportunity to belittle and plead stupidity and ignorance to meaningful questions from a clearly very weak prosecution that didn't really ask hard-hitting questions and was reaching. i don't like his attitude and demeanor. and i get that he doesn't think he's guilty, but he also doesn't understand real world consequences of actions.
  10. 1) major improvements to our entire education system, develop future leaders, scientists, educators, historians, engineers, innovators, and better educate those that will not be in those categories, too. 2) healthcare in the states is joke. make it more affordable, with easier access. 3) climate change. take the lead and run with it. it's probably much more challenging to do than the first two but also the most important for future generations.
  11. i think rittenhouse injected himself into an unstable situation, and attempted to administer "justice" himself. as a dude that had no ability or training, yet tried to be the hero. and that's not even acknowledging his supremacist behaviors and past transgressions. so yea, rosenbaum said some shit. it was threatening. was it life-threatening, and justifiably so? that's where the line is drawn. and i think the evidence shows killing rosenbaum was murder, but i can't imagine the jury drawing the same conclusions, especially in the aftermath of that disaster of a trial.
  12. absolutely not. if rittenhouse wasn't armed to the tits and trigger happy, there would be no murder.
  13. rittenhouse is guilty of murder and i think he also received an empty death threat from rosenbaum. if you've been provoked and chased, it's not life-threatening. dude was underprepared for that situation and overarmed. he had no place being there, "protecting his community" and whatnot, strapped with an ar15 and no firefighting training or ability to "render aid" properly, yet armed and trigger happy. dude's 17, he should be at home playing call of duty. i think the judge and prosecutor were also shamefully bad, and perhaps in a conspiratorial type of way. shitshow of a trial. rittenhouse, his actions on that night, deserve 20+ years. also the fake cries and probable lies on the stand should see plenty of scrutiny. i see an acquittal here though. fucking nuts.
  14. i'm on the "we've actually got a pretty solid staff" train. sark's abilities as a hc definitely deserve question, but it's not time to even consider letting him go. we were all thinking "damn this staff fucks" a couple of months ago. i think the staff still fucks. recruiting had some big misses under herman, and it shows. so does the staff turnover. find consistency with the staff, develop those that are committed, and hit the portal to replace those that aren't should be the focus. we've had horrible performances but it's not time to jump off the ledge, yet. there's a precedent for first year head coaches getting wrecked before turning things around.
  15. i love the irony of disgruntled rodgers asking for more consideration of his highly intelligent thoughts from the higher-ups on the roster, in light of this. yeah, i've been immunized. yeah, you should consult me for personnel decisions. clearly it was known rodgers was an idiot in the packers' front office and they avoided his input. but after the fallout, they tried to make him feel more involved and also allowed him to act like he was vaccinated. now this, hahahaha it's pure comedy.
  16. as shit of a topic as this is, i also hate the need to include ruggs' stats in the espn piece. who fucking cares if he had xx catches for xxx yards on xx plays, and was drafted at xx position from xx university. after this shit happens, football is irrelevant. fuck off with your stats and all that bullshit, it's ridiculous.
  17. quick takeaways.. rapey played with confidence and composure in 2nd half, feeling no pressure after watching our collapses. wr's can't catch on key plays - thats probably the biggest difference maker this game and several others. casey also with a few key misses, throwaways, interceptions, mistakes. defense played decently well, overshown was a no show - d gave enough for offense to have a chance to win, far from great but decent enough. a few less missed tackles this game compared to the last few weeks. sark deserves the blame for 2nd half meltdowns, and also deserves support for turning this shit around. bijan didn't produce with a stacked box and continually shit oline, and casey and our wr's didn't make the rapey defense pay. we play like we don't really want to win. yet we're in all games and we're tops in the big 12 at finding ways to lose. another close but no cigar showing.
  18. dumb play there but still think we get a w here, likely from bijan breaking out.
  19. we're going to win, fuck this "lets be scared" bs.
  20. i'd like to hope lessons have been learned and we stop playing soft, not-to-lose football in second halves. no brakes. i hope this team is pissed, watching ou sucks and mullet's mishaps this week, those losses simmering. all gas, for fucks sake.
  21. anyone with a working stream? that would be mucho appreciated, i'm in bangkok.
  22. oh, damn and in the business attire too. we're about to fuck them so hard they'll be limping all week. 20 returning starters, is that what we're supposed to be afraid of? those 2-3 stars wouldn't make our practice teams, practice team. our coaches are better, our players our better - in every position. they're playing on our new turf, with no tape, no clue what card and the offense brings. or how hard pk is going to stiff them on any pathetic attempts at their own offense. all gas and no breaks too. i'm seeing a blowout here folks, 49-10. ou sucks.
