  1. The NFL salary cap is an illusion. Saints have been over the cap for years. Loomis knows how to make magic and kick that can down the road.
  2. Saints have been in cap hell for years. They know how to kick that can down the road if they want to. Has nothing to do with a Payton.
  3. It was never a one or the other situation. We would have taken both.
  4. I see now some of you are going to have a real rough time now that we have younger coaches on the staff that are active on social media.
  5. I still can’t understand why we can’t get WRs to come play here. Hoping that changes soon.
  6. I’m holding out hope this team gets better at some point and gets in the tourney and goes on a run. As of now I prefer to watch the girls play.
  7. I think Too’too was promised to start because he was ass for most of the year. Bama fans I know wanted to see him benched.
  8. Sanders to Arky was pretty much done prior to him entering the portal. The Nahlin and Belmont confidence never made any sense.
  9. Really think Revis is underrated as a pure cover guy. He did it in during the passing era and against superior athletes than his predecessors that have been mentioned in this thread. Guys like Deion, Rod, and Green were retiring when guys like Moss, Megatron etc.. started entering the league. I don't doubt Revis would have been as good as those guys in their era. Same for Charles Woodson.
  10. Title of thread says best cb ever. 🙂
  11. Nowhere have I mentioned picking Rod Woodson over Deion. He also only played safety at the tail end of his career, he was a much better CB. Like I said y'all don't know who Rod Woodson is.
  12. Imagine having a career that consisted of 71 interceptions, 12 returned for TDs(1st all time) forcing 23 fumbles, 32 fumble recoveries(1st all time), 14 sacks, and winning a DPOY award all from the CB/S and being arguable the most complete CB in NFL history and being told you aren't in the same stratosphere as Deion Sanders. Some of you have no idea who Rod Woodson was and likely never saw him play. If you don't have this man in the conversation then there is no point in us debating.
  13. Bizarre takes. I have to wonder how much NFL football some of you watched. Everson Walls and Mel Blount probably belong in this conversation as well. Not saying Deion shouldn't be on the mountain top, but I don't see a large or huge gap between him and everyone else. But this isn't the thread to go in depth about that. So agree to disagree, just on the absurdity honestly, this is the only time time I've heard such opinions when it comes to NFL CB play and rankings.
  14. A large gap between Deion, Charles Woodson, Rod Woodson, Revis, and Darrell Green?
  15. This situation ain't that situation, and that situation ended up working out anyway.
  16. I think they just aren't as good against better competition.
  17. *too Sorry for not proofreading after swiping on my IPhone to make that post professor, but look at the big brain on you this morning. And please show me any visible evidence of Cook being fast enough to play the safety position. Dude is slow and isn’t a quick twitch athlete either which is compounded by his lack of instincts. I could probably count on one hand the amount of impact plays he has made in his career at UT. But surly wants to put him at safety where he’d likely get attacked relentlessly. And fwiw I hope someone beats him out at nickel as well.
  18. He is to slow and doesn’t have the instincts for safety. We need speed and range at safety more than someone that is just a solid tackler.
  19. Let Watts, Jamison, Jarron, and Crawford compete for the corner spots. Whoever comes in last moves to FS. If Patterson is on the staff hopefully he teaches the rest of the coaching staff how to turn corners into safeties, and safeties into LBs so you have plus athletes on the field.
