  1. I think they just aren't as good against better competition.
  2. *too Sorry for not proofreading after swiping on my IPhone to make that post professor, but look at the big brain on you this morning. And please show me any visible evidence of Cook being fast enough to play the safety position. Dude is slow and isn’t a quick twitch athlete either which is compounded by his lack of instincts. I could probably count on one hand the amount of impact plays he has made in his career at UT. But surly wants to put him at safety where he’d likely get attacked relentlessly. And fwiw I hope someone beats him out at nickel as well.
  3. He is to slow and doesn’t have the instincts for safety. We need speed and range at safety more than someone that is just a solid tackler.
  4. Let Watts, Jamison, Jarron, and Crawford compete for the corner spots. Whoever comes in last moves to FS. If Patterson is on the staff hopefully he teaches the rest of the coaching staff how to turn corners into safeties, and safeties into LBs so you have plus athletes on the field.
  5. We only have 7 now with 2 coming in. Of those 7, you have maybe 3-4 you can actually put on the field. I doubt Sark is still whining about the WR #'s
  6. What the fuck? Are non student athletes allowed to enter the transfer portal? Why the fuck are y'all discussing this shit at length in this fucking thread? Man this board is becoming fucking trash because of you fucking lames that can't fucking stay on topic.
  7. Let's hope Sanders makes it to Friday without committing somewhere he hasn't even visited. Staff needs to shut this down Friday though. Mathis would be a good get. Still need a LB portal and 2 WRs IMO.
  8. Can someone point me to the post made by the staff telling us who they are extremely confident on?
  9. He was missing his top two targets.
  10. Earle, Fuck the Brocks, Sanders, Billingsly, and Hall Calculator
  11. I'm pretty sure it's a reference to starting at Incarnate Word and working his way to D1.
  12. Why would he be wondering what if? He probably still wouldn't be listed on the stat sheet.
  13. Damn y'all couldn't keep the thread shitting to one thread? Bunch of corny fucks on this board.
  14. Regardless of style I'm expecting a team that is competent on both ends of the floor. But let's see how long we can get away with just saying this is Beards style on offense and if the defense holds up against better teams.
  15. My issue is this team isn't very good right now for its own reasons unrelated to Shaka. This team is 12-3 but has lost to every team they have played that had a pulse. Our best win is against a not very good Kansas St team. You didn't answer the question regarding if you are enjoying what you are watching thus far.
  16. Where did I say this was similar to Shaka's tenure? I said the team isn't anymore enjoyable to watch. Do you enjoy watching this team? The means to the result doesn't have to be the exact same. Do I feel like I'm watching a Shaka team, no. Do I enjoy what I've seen this far, also no. Not sure why that is so hard to comprehend.
  17. Lmao at the excuses. This team isn’t any more fun to watch than Shaka’s team and no one was complaining about the talent on the team prior to the season starting. Any “upgrades” you take away from watching this team means shit based on how the season has gone thus far. The results are the results. Best I can say is the season has been slightly less frustrating.
  18. Honestly that looked like a pretty clean block to me. We are weak around the rim, on both ends.
  19. More early offense please.
  20. Not sure I understand why this team struggles to score so much.
  21. It is also highly possible we already have our WR transfer wrapped up. Guess we'll see.
  22. You expected him to randomly commit to the second school he visited without bothering to visit the other schools on his list? I'm not sure how much I can blame the staff in this case, I guess they could have paid the kid to not make the Tennessee visit, but honestly I am not sure if anyone even thought they were much of a threat.
  23. He came out in a loaded RB draft as well. Likely a first rounder if he waits a year and probably goes to a team/coach that would utilize him properly early in his career. Two factors that I know played a part in him leaving early, Mack saying no to him running track in the spring, and pressure from certain people at home.
  24. Tell us you’ve never played football without telling us you’ve never played.
