  1. If Darius had directed that solely at the fanbase then I would agree to an extent, people were already ready to anoint Card based on practice reports from the $9.95ers. Had he had the performance Casey had in the Alamo game in addition to that, I'd wager most of the fanbase would be wondering why Sark is even bothering with a QB competition or considering it a farce to keep Casey on the roster. But, the fanbase isn't calling the shots here, Sark is and I am not sure any coach would have just anointed Card the starter based on a half of football.
  2. 13 LBs for two spots on the field seems like a lot. Which goes back to the point of we are likely going to see some transfers due to the older guys coming in and burying some of the younger players on the depth chart. I agree with the opinion of I'd rather not lose most of the young guys.
  3. I swear some of you are lucky aggies exist because if not for that, a portion of you would be the lamest selection of guys on the Internet. Y'all gotta be complete dweebs in real life. Can't convince me otherwise.
  4. Our WRs aren't very dynamic, but maybe it was the vanilla offense. Hopefully once Jake Smith is back in the rotation it helps. And in regards to the zero sum game not sure we know how good our DBs are if we are judging them going against this WR corps.
  5. Someone who takes his own advice and isn't worried about being "known" by any of you lame fuck sticks on this board.
  6. This x100. I wonder how lame a person has to be to contribute to such useless drivel that is totally off topic from the threads purpose. And save me that its a surly "rite of passage" for a thread to derail, it's dumb as fuck. And too many of you are stupid fucks anyway and should really just stick to reading threads.
  7. Looks like Dunn was playing underneath and expected safety help over the top. But I don't think there was anything in front of him and he should have stayed attached to the WR.
  8. Not sure if you've been paying attention but they haven't been in the business of leaving people alive to tell their side of the story anyway.
  9. Do I really need to list the people killed by cops that didn't run or fight the cops, wasn't carrying a gun, and wasn't in a gang? This is such lazy bullshit. And yeah let's continue expecting more out of citizens instead of the gang in blue getting paid to protect and serve. One is supposed to be trained for those situations, the other isn't.
  10. Right because we've learned over the years it's normally the leo that causes the escalation of force. They arrive to escalate and not de-escalate. It's also easy to not be a pussy. Cops shouldn't quiver at the sight of a gun.
  11. Is it a cops job to murder alleged criminals in the street? If anyone is running away from a cop with a gun in hand they should not be shot. If anyone follows instructions given by a cop they should not be shot. In neither instance did they pose a direct threat to the cop. The presence of a gun shouldn't give a cop the green light to go Rambo. If someone doesn't like the hazards of their job they should quit, instead of being a pussy and making this kind of mistake.
  12. Wouldn't he basically have to turn around to drop the gun. And for him to toss it I'm sure it would have required "fertile" movement that likely would have resulted in him getting shot. Then y'all would argue he should have dropped it in the manner that he did and not towards the cop.
  13. How was the kid supposed to know the cop only wanted to see the back of his hands(he didn't)? Kid is 13 and I'm sure anytime he has been asked to show his hands since he was a toddler meant show me your palms. Which explains the turn rather the cop specifically asked for that or not. When the kid stopped the cop could have put distance between them. He didn't. He gave instructions that were followed and he killed a kid. Kid didn't shoot at the cop or even point the gun at him. Had the cop waited .5 seconds longer he would have seen there was no threat. Instead the kid following the instructions he gave put him "in fear of his life". In which he realized a half a second later wasn't the case. For all those "this was a good shoot" people, what exactly should the kid have done at the time of confrontation with the cop that would have saved his life. And whatever happened prior isn't punishable by execution on the street.
  14. Hmm threw down the weapon 2 seconds before he was shot but he wasn't "unarmed"? Followed the instructions the cop gave him and the cop still shot him. So what exactly was the kid supposed to do here? Drop the weapon? Put his hands up? No? Then what? And whatever crime he committed doesn't mean he gets to be executed on the street. Its beyond me how some of you still don't get that.
  15. That is some huge leaps on your part. But what I gather from this is you seldomly expect the cops to properly be able to do their jobs, so they should be able to just take the easy way out when someone isn't complying and use lethal force. When we realized cops are shit at their jobs.
  16. Even if he had successfully fled there was no real reason for it to turn into a high speed police chase that could injure others. They already knew who he was and could apprehend him another time. So yeah no lethal force is ever necessary unless there is a direct threat to the immediate public.
  17. Some of these post being made are like scoring a TD and then spiking the football after being down 56-0.
  18. Are there any reasons I can list that would sway your or Burt’s opinion? No, so no reason to even go there. And I don’t think I claimed Jones would be a world beater, I just have the opinion he’ll be better than expected, but we’ll see one way or the other next season.
  19. I have my reasons, but to your counterpoint do you think it’s impossible for him to improve from year to year?
  20. Don’t know much about Thornton but Jones will probably be better than a lot of people think, and I think Broughton will flash at times this year too.

    DMX dead.

You flipped a lyric from an artist to equate his death to taking the trash out which was lame as fuck. I could give a fuck less about what you think of my opinion.
  22. SarkAfterDark

    DMX dead.

I know. But he didn’t use the lyric in reference to death and that’s a very weird way honor someone. But since you’re whining about the neg I’ll remove it. Try and do better next time.
