  1. That may be under selling it.
  2. I have no information on the veracity of the Killed/Wounded number. But as Ukraine is engaged in a fairly constant offensive on multiple fronts it would seem reasonable that the number of RU killed would be toward the upper end of prior daily reporting. 7,390 Killed over 10 days is an average of 739 RU soldiers killed per day which is high, but is less than some of the higher days we have seen (Per Ukraine Defense reporting). To get to a wounded amount of 29,000 that would be a killed/wounded ratio of just under 4:1 which is in line with expectations of a 3-5:1 ratio. So not really that unrealistic.
  3. I doubt that Putin of the 50 foot table would get that close to anyone, including Shoigu. I vote body double.
  4. I think that is a car jacking going right.
  5. Really? We hadn't noticed.
  6. But they DON'T need buffer states. They say they do, but NATO has not invaded anyone. Others have begged to join NATO and to join the EU and free world/free economy, but there is no imminent invasion except by Russia against anyone it thinks it can bully. And without Crimea they still have access to warm water ports on the Black Sea as they have other territory that is on the Black Sea. The real problem is that they are aggy, and have the little brother, red headed step child, small man syndromes where they want everyone to think and treat them like they are the greatest at everything and bow down to them. Meduza had an article where they got quotes from Russians who did not and don't support the Ukranian war, but then say... "But now that we are in the war we HAVE TO WIN", even as they say how horrible what they are doing is. I am sure not everyone thinks this way, but it is somewhat of an ingrained Russian cultural perspective. https://meduza.io/en/feature/2023/06/03/the-only-thing-worse-than-war-is-losing-one?utm_source=email&utm_medium=briefly&utm_campaign=2023-06-06
  7. Some rotations were even 30 flights, but then you in theory had a break, but were reassigned back again after 6-9 months. My Wife's grandfather was a navigator on B-17's. We did not know much about his time until decades after his death when we found a picture and his citation for the Distinguished Flying Cross which was awarded after his 43rd combat mission, where he "manned his guns" as the fighters concentrated an attack on his plane, then rendered aid to his "seriously wounded" radio operator, and then navigated back on the "badly crippled plane" without further injury to crew or aircraft.
  8. You all thinking Russia did this are crazy! I bet a US underwater Demolition Diver got undressed and left a boot near the Dam just like the Nordstream pipeline, and once found will conclusively show that the US/NATO did this. Maybe some Sim City games too!
  9. These are beings of intellect and technology that allows them to warp space and time. Those that took this monumental technology and crashed are the alien aggy’s. So they know.
  10. Looks well preserved and maintained. The dollars spent on storage and upkeep were definitely not stolen/swindled away by standard Russian graft and corruption practices.

    Shit My Kid Says

How you, and the other Surly's in the conversation, have not gotten to the obvious idea that you need to convince her anal is the answer to stretch, loosen and lubricate the region of concern is truly disappointing.
  12. Actually, aggie is kind of our ace in the hole against AI. It "learns" from it's inputs, so it learning and incorporating aggie stupidity may be our only hope to defeat it.
  13. I’d have the woman impersonating my wife arrested…..after she finished.
  14. You do the 80’s your way, I’ll do it mine.
  15. I think what you are missing is that Ukraine is not the first legacy building war Putin engaged in. He has been doing this since he got in power. This is just bigger, we notice it more and we are engaging to try and stop it.
  16. I thought the same thing, but I believe it is the shadow of the forearm/hand of the dwarf standing to his left.
  17. Bryansk is Russia. Not made up, we are annexing territory we invaded and don’t control Russia, but Russia pre-2014 in internationally recognized borders. So how did they explain their aircraft being shot down in their own territory? When they say kill everyone do they mean their own Air Defense personnel?
  18. You’re still away! …. Still away …..Still away …. Okay, my turn, wait still away…
  19. Putin has been pushing Lukashenko to declare war, invade and go all in on supporting Russia. Lukashenko has done a lot, but would not go all in as I believe he worried his people would rise up against him including his military who don't want to do that. But Putin's goal is to annex Belarus which I think Lukashenko did not want, and if there was an uprising in Belarus Russia would roll tanks in and stop it and take over which really just speeds up the annexation process.
