  1. IMO - They recruit kids from all over the state based on talent alone. A lot of these kids have trouble managing their egos and behavior once they get to college after being told they’re the best in the country for 3-4 years straight. That district has tons of talent though, probably better off focusing on the Summer Creeks and Atascocitas long term.
  2. All of those amounts and then add increased NIL needs once you fire the current guy try to keep the little talent they have left on campus while dipping into the transfer portal. That's a lot of scratch. I've been telling people, it's not a matter of the money being there in aggie wallets, the difficulty will be enticing them to open them up for a guy like a Traylor. And to your point - why would the new guy accept anything substantially less than Fisher got when they've been crowing about how rich they are? I cant imagine them being successful approaching a guy like a Traylor and offering him a 5 year $30M contract. He could literally name his price because the fallout and perception of him turning down the offer would be disastrous (for aggies, not me).
  3. North shore kid. I’m sure his career will be drama free and he’ll fully live up to his 5* ranking.
  4. looks like someone could use a reminder on what the term flagship means and how many there are
  5. NSIAP. https://www.foxnews.com/sports/michigan-fired-staffer-video-surfaces-trying-solicit-13-year-old-girl-report.amp Nothing rotten going on at Michigan at all. Everyone’s doing it.
  6. I could be wrong but I believe it’s that swinger couple that sell the target furniture out by Waco.
  7. Better than the delay of game penalties on the first play of the game/half with Herman.
  8. I don’t know if it was intentional or not, but in the full presser he kept using the term collected in reference to the amassing of talent on the Aggie roster. As in they have collected a bunch of talent. Thought that was interesting as it refers to both a potential NIL collective and classes being bought, but also has a clearly different meaning than recruited or identified or developed.
  9. $100 on LSU +3.5 $50 on LSU ML $50 on Ole Miss ML $150 on 7.5 pt teaser of both teams Profit
  10. The burger at Paradigm Brewery up in Tomball was fantastic if you’re ever up that way. Tons of outdoor space for the kids too.
  11. yea, just take the under and profit. it did drop from 53.5 to 52.5 though. I still think 7.5 wins sounds about right. That was -184 to begin the year on my book. The loss to Miami likely makes it a 7-5 year. I think that likely means one of Coleman or Bussey leaves the class, probably an OL, and maybe another LB or S. #15 class or so when its over. Losing an OL and a LB is disaster for their roster though, they really needed a big class at both positions. Now they're going to be desperately portal hunting in a year with a questionable future of the coaching staff and desire from the wallets to throw in for NIL. I'm here for it.
  12. How many offers does he need from us?
  13. Adding Kobe black puts us at #5 class in the nation with 20 commits. Who is number 6 you ask? That would be your redass ball-squeezing whoop gig em Texas A&M Aggies with 21 commits: a third of which are likely actively looking for any other school to match their NIL so they can defect.
  14. Congrats to your 2023 Nielsen Ratings champions the New York Yankees. I don’t know about you guys but I personally judge my favorite teams performance and successes based on how many people watch them. Who gives a shit about wins and losses anyways.
  15. Thank god I am not a Yankees fan. It would be the worst to watch this team consistently win in October while your team sits at home year after year.
  16. I for one feel awful for all these Dallas area banana Dick bags having to drive home to Dallas from Arlington in the their leased 3 series bmw’s.
  17. The day they remove Jimbo from his duties, they should auction off that Jimbo national championship trophy to Longhorns to raise money for his termination payment. I’d put up a couple Benjamin’s to have that in my office at work.
  18. From having talked to recruits parents that have played against the OL in that district, they said he wasn’t quite a kelvin banks, but definitely in that class of HS OL. Super technical, really strong and a really smart player. He’s gonna be great and my favorite lineman of our class.
  19. It’s not 77MM all up front; I think it’s only 25% due within 60 days. While painful, it’s also the long term commitment over the remaining years to continue paying it (and the current staff buyouts) off on top of the initial outlay for the new coach and new staff. You’re asking a lot of wealthy donors to pay a lot of money for basically a decade - the same people that likely have already been heavily donating to NIL efforts. Something has to give. The suspense is killing me; I hope it’ll last.
  20. Yea but aggie has a tiktok house you stupid sip
  21. Great work on tracking down the receipts. This man should be booed. Boo this man.
  22. Everything is negotiable and some candidates will have more leverage than others, but I’d be surprised if many of these mega contracts have a “for cause” provision going forward after watching what’s happening with Michigan State.
  23. I feel like just in the last month we were discussing a rumored $50M buyout for Elko as well. That’s a whole lot of scrilla on top of what’s been mentioned.
