  1. Not any sort of recruiting expert, but it sure seems like eeking your way to 85 scholarship players with last minute HS offers and portal takes is maybe not the preferred approach here to managing a roster.
  2. Beards wife a Tech fan confirmed. Probably some Lubbock oil NIL money paid to her to accuse him. sarcasm
  3. I hear 10 games into the season is a great time to begin a coaching search. Can anyone confirm?
  4. Well, basketball was fun while it lasted. Let’s try again in 10 years or so.
  5. Won a ton on eagles and 49ers today but lost an insignificant amount on bills/jets and browns/bengals over. Up a unit or two.
  6. Next generation thinking type of NIL. You pay opponents players/recruits to go out of conference.
  7. Teased it down to Army +10.5 and o 24. This is the year
  8. We need the depth chart posted again
  9. If the goal is to bring home Americans safely - perhaps not releasing someone that was actively trying to sell surface to air missiles and airplanes with grenade launchers designed to take down US airmen would be an alternative strategy.
  10. He is but his big charity work is involvement in his direct community, Houston and surrounding areas. He does a TON for the area where he lives and works. He just chooses not to do it in Austin. I think he's seen that good favor has done him well in business and made him a local god. In return people buy from him like crazy. I don't think he's solely driven by the return from good publicity, but what is the incentive for him to do it for UT and not for UH? I think the corporate stuff would be awesome for companies like Dell or Tesla or the multitude of other large businesses in the area.
  11. Bout, a former Soviet military officer, was serving a 25-year prison sentence in the United States on charges of conspiring to kill Americans, acquire and export anti-aircraft missiles, and provide material support to a terrorist organization. Bout has maintained he is innocent. seems like a fair trade.
  12. Must win for me this weekend; have a conundrum in the flex. Gabe Davis, DPJ, Josh Palmer or Leonard Fournette. I really just need someone to get 10-15 points with very little risk.
  13. yikes. What's better, is because of the record setting 22 recruiting class - all the talk next year will be about all of this potential due to the pletohroa of highly rated recruits they have. But when you dive in, the QB, RB, OL, LB, and CB positions look fucking awful. They may struggle to beat .500 next year.
  14. $500 5 game teaser lost yesterday when ravens won by one. The line I had was 1.5. Fucking Lamar’s knee man…
  15. I’m sure King’s dad loved his son’s experience at TAMU and will speak nothing but compliments about the program in Texas high school circles.
  16. I’ll try to grab a pic next time, but was doing the ever so classic jalapeño sausage in a tortilla the other day and got to thinking about a different way to incorporate cheese. Usually I just sprinkle it in the pan warmed tortilla before adding in the sausage. This time I made a cheese quesadilla and folded it over the sausage for the “shell”. It was magical.
  17. They also know the guy that works at the campus location, so they get extra meatballs.
  18. You’re actually right, at least for my book. Ends at 90 minutes unless otherwise noted. Let’s go draws!!!
  19. yea remind me. a 0-0 that goes to PK's still counts as a draw for gambling purposes, correct? W/L/D and spread bets are closed at the end of 120?
  20. this is a great fucking list. All the potential early contributors getting in early.
  21. 7.7 oz? Christ that’s a lot of weed. Did they all just take their “NIL” and try to triple it by buying drugs to sell? also - lol: According to the police report, Williams had 7.7 ounces of marijuana in a black bag with a Texas A&M football name tag attached to it.
  22. Germany looked wayyy too patient, but yes Japan was a bit lucky to not give up 1-2 goals in the second half. Germany just couldn’t finish I thought Japan actually looked really good though too. Perhaps the perception of Germany’s strength is a tad bit due to previous cups and this team isn’t what it used to be. I have Belgium going far, so hopefully the buck the trend of favorites getting upset early.
