  1. Owens is good friends with some DL recruits that may be going to take a visit to Michigan St as a favor to Coach Jordan. None of these kids are seriously considering MSU, but they are fond of their former trainer turned college coach and likely throwing him a bone.
  2. Going to South Lake Tahoe this summer for a few days. What are the tables like at the old Hard Rock?
  3. This is true, or at least was at one point. Had a coworker about a decade ago that put his in ice cream. Super cringe. Left that company about a month after I found that out for unrelated reasons, but hiring someone like that is a good indicator that something’s wrong.
  4. How deep is the water where this ship sank? Good diving spot in a few years?
  5. Yes, this appears to be the problem. If he had put the car in neutral, gotten out and popped that kids ass with a ruler in front of his friends, lesson learned, no one dies, everyone goes home and this isn’t a story. #procorporalpunishment
  6. This sounds prettay prettay good. Nice work. Is this enough to overcome the substantial non-NIL NIL promised to entice recruits at aggy, or at least level the playing field?
  7. the question mark on whether he would be a really good recruit or an elite level recruit coming into his senior season wasn't pass blocking, agility, or size. It was aggression and want to in the run game. Here is but one small example of how that went:
  8. unless it's Justin Fuente, of course. Projecting success for coaches is hard, even with all the inside information that someone like CTJ has. Forecasting failure is quite a bit easier, and as noted, was immeditately obvious with the staffing hires of both Strong and Herman. I dont think Sarklossian made immediately obvious bad initial hires like the other two dipshits (though PK may turnout to be that). Otherwise, I see zero reason to date to have hope for Texas being a national contender because of Sark, but perhaps we can do it in spite of him with generational talent like QE, Bijan, Banks etc and a modern offensive gameplan.
  9. We should just accept that a lot of these kids grew up watching A&M win championship after championship and its their dream to continue on the winning tradition of Texas aggies
  10. “He was really smart, a kind kid. Always knew how to make someone laugh,” said Carpenter. was he really though?
  11. Apparently this giant mfer dominated the rivals Dallas camp. Goes by Bubba. 380 lbs in high school lol.
  12. With only a half dozen or so completions to go around to WR's each game, would not be surprised to see another one transfer out as well.
  13. This 100%. He and Ashton Porter are twitter and camp 5 star champions, but not nearly the talent their ranking would have you believe. These Rivals camps these days are a joke.
  14. I actually thought Max Johnson was the best of the bunch watching that. Not that he was terribly great or anything, but I thought he looked quite a bit better than King. My guess is Johnson ends up winning the position at some point if not outright before the season starts, but Weigman gets playing time. Evan Stewart looks good, though he'll largely be wasted in that offense with those qbs. He will always have the tiktok house to fall back on though.
  15. He doesn’t need a long sentence because he’s a threat to society, he need a long sentence so a message is sent to race baiting lying assholes that they won’t get a slap on the wrist.
  16. I dont have a problem with discounting OU and OkSt given the questions for each after changes in personnel and coaches, but to say that Texas is somehow without some of those same issues is dumb.
  17. I get the whole new qb koolaid, but considering Texas a "tier 1 team" in the big 12 and OU and Ok St tier 2, a year after which Texas didn't even make a bowl game and lost to both teams is a bit silly.
  18. There has got to be some money left in the wreath fund to buy the 11.95 item so we can send a note about DFigs history and the url to his story here.
  19. finally someone who understands energy. GoldenPass LNG is still years away from production, Annova LNG was cancelled before hitting FID because France didn't like "dirty fracked gas from Texas" and bought dirty gas from Qatar instead, and Rio Grande LNG bit off more than they can chew and can't sell enough capacity to get off the ground. Driftwood/Tellurian is going to start construction soon though we're probably 5-6 years away from them being online. Even if we had the production capacity of LNG to fulfill most of Europe's additional demand and these new facilities were operational - Europe doesn't have theneeded regas facilities or infrastructure to support them. We're probably talking close to a decade before we can even make an honest to god dent in their needs should Russia cut them off.
  20. Yea but he's only a short two hour drive to the Masters.
  21. And they've seen a ton of aggy championships and trophies in that time...wait wut?
