This situation is no different from a year-end performance review not going the way the employee expected. As an employee, you feel like you deserve a higher pay bump but the employer disagrees. You choose to leave and blame the employer for not valuing you. Both parties are better off parting ways.
Livingston started out hot but ended the season meh. The regression was concerning when you consider the fact that the rest of the offense was started to gel. IIRC he had a few notable drops in one of the games that hurt us. I don't know what happened to him. I would have liked to see more of Lockett and Ffrench throughout the year, but for some reason, this staff doesn't trust the backups. Perhaps they were not ready or perhaps Sark has the same philosophy as Mack when it comes to playing young guys.
What did I miss? The fact that he is playing D1 football after his fuckups early on in his career would indicate a turnaround for me. He may never live up to his high school ratings but being on a D1 roster earning NIL money is a win.
So, someone told Arch during last night's game about Livingston leaving and that's when he said this? Makes sense now. I thought it was about the special teams playing like ass.
You said they played like they were happy to be there, which implies they could have played better if they wanted. I am arguing against that assertion.
No, they are ass. Their coach gave a pregame speech about how they belonged. When you have to tell yourselves that you belonged, you know deep down that you don't.
How do you beat a team that's flawless? This loss is not on Deboer. He is a good coach. I will put him in the same bucket as Sark ... perhaps slightly ahead because he beat Sark.
