  1. Put down the chemical you are on, son. You have been posting rubbish for a while now. I am concerned for you.
  2. The winner of this game (pac 12 champ) is guaranteed a spot. There is no need to overthink this. I hope Oregon gets run out of the stadium. Fuck OR and the committee for being so fucking dumb.
  3. Bo Nix has a 0% completion rate in the pac 12 championship game.
  4. The committee wants SEC, B1G and Pac 12 represented. That's why they put two teams from B1G and Pac 12 ahead of us. If one loses, the other takes their spot. I want UGA to win so that we can take the 4th spot with an FSU loss. I don't want to give the committee an excuse to let two SEC teams in because they pass the "eye test" and "look how well Milroe is playing" and because they hate Texas.
  5. Did anyone see tOSU being ranked above us coming? What in the actual fuck? They have no chance of winning the conference, but let's just put them ahead of other 1-loss teams who do have a chance to win their conferences. It's temporary though, just for giggles.
  6. These people have their minds made up about who they think good programs are. What happens on the field don't seem to matter.
  7. I am done arguing with you, dude. Believe what you want. We all want the same thing - Texas to get in.
  8. I feel like the committee is going by the average margin of victory to rank the one-loss teams. It's done in soccer and many other international sports. Can someone check into the average scoring differentials among Oregon, tOSU, Texas and Bama?
  9. Let me guess you are a financial planner? It's not very hard to understand. The one-loss teams that are above us embolden their resume by having another top tier win at the conference championship. The committee has shown this year that they may not drop an unbeaten team for a close loss against a very good team (see Oregon and OSU). Everything else is conjecture.
  10. Is QE going to win the Heisman this year or next? If he comes back, he probably goes first in the draft next year and will most definitely go on to have a better career than Tom Brady. So glad he is our QB 1.
  11. If you put one/two posters on ignore, this thread reads much better. Some posters appear to know everything about the minds of the committee.
  12. I know many of you are coming up with the rationales for what should happen but the committee is not going by your rationales. They didn't have to keep tOSU ahead of us and Bama if they didn't believe they were better. Same goes for Oregon.
  13. They kept OSU above us, so in case Michigan loses they can slide tOSU in. The system is not fair.
  14. The committee doesn't need to give us the benefit of the doubt when the team we are competing against for a spot is looking dominant. They have a heisman frontrunner QB and our QB maybe coming back for another year because his draft stock fell.
  15. I think the reason Oregon has been ranked ahead of us is because of their dominance over inferior teams and a very close loss to UW. They passed the eye test in every game. Most people believe they will beat UW in the championship game because how good they look. If we hadn't limped through the weaker part of our schedule, we would be ahead of them now. We can call their ranking "bullshit" but it is what it is. Calling something bullshit is the fan's coping mechanism but it doesn't change the reality. Now obviously we need help from Louisville.
  16. I never said UGA will also be ranked higher than us. I said there is a chance that UGA may not fall that far. The rankings are not done by computers, so our chances don't improve with Bama winning another game. Most people already consider that win impressive. It's not like Rice unexpectedly winning their conference and giving our resume an unexpected boost.
  17. What am I wrong about? Since the outcome is not yet known, how can you say I am wrong and you're right? I am willing to wager a bet that Bama will be ranked higher than us with a win over UGA.
