  1. Jayhawks, let's get it done today.
  2. And here I thought we were going to the SEC because we were sick and tired of getting screwed by the conference whose weight we carried.
  3. Has someone checked if they had someone recording the TCU hand signals in the first half?
  4. To be fair, B1G has consistently been shitty except for one or two teams, but that didn't help Michigan until the last couple of years when the cheating started. They still have to play at Penn state and Ohio State. I wouldn't be counting those games as wins. The CFP is not going to let a one-loss UM in this year.
  5. A transcendent QB who knew the defensive calls. You're not appreciating how big of an advantage it is to know your opponent's every call. Michigan is NOT going to the playoffs this year. Starting next year, your recent recruiting will also catch up to you.
  6. Juicy keeps implying that it's a nothingburger and that Michigan will come out unscathed out of this. Even if that were true, how do you assume that Harbaugh keeps winning at the current rate without the stolen signals? He wasn't really setting the world on fire until the last couple of seasons, and they haven't been recruiting that well in the last few years either. This ship is about to tank with or without any major sanction by the NCAA.
  7. It's not a third party when their own staff is funding the operation of obtaining the films.
  8. Not if he starts losing to the buckeyes again without his signal stealing scheme.
  9. The commissioner can't protect a bad apple when that would anger every other member of the conference. They will instead choose to back the buckeyes. I can't imagaine any scenario where UM gets a pass when their actions adversely affected everyone else in the conference.
  10. Ethnicity: N Maybe he is a Nigerian prince?
  11. We have a weak schedule ahead of us and our QB room is talented, albeit young. You never know how one of them might step up given the opportunity to lead, so I remain positive and excited to see how they respond. The biggest risk in my opinion is Sark's playcalling and coaching.
  12. From Horns247: “The most impressive fact about Maalik Murphy to me is that he was first offered by three different offensive coordinators at Texas,” Roach said. “Tim Beck made him the first QB offer in the 2022 class, and Mike Yurcich re-offered as soon as he was hired at Texas. When Steve Sarkisian took over, Murphy was once again a priority target for the Longhorns. Though they once had a commitment from Quinn Ewers and were working to flip him while he was pledged to Ohio State, it was clear that Murphy possessed tools that each coach loved. “One, I think he loves the culture of Texas, the community, you know, the people, everything around it,” Hernandez said of what kept Murphy in Austin. “He’s been excited to be there. He’s kind of changed the way he is. I was there this summer and he picked me up in his car. He was just playing nothing but country music the entire time. He said it’s all he listens to. He was like I love it. He could see I loved it. We’ve been sending each other songs. He’s just really bought in. He really loves it there. Again, the personalty that Maalik has, he’s not one to shy away from competition. There were a lot of opportunities, even coming out of high school going into college, where probably the path seemed smoother to be QB1. He said this program checks the boxes for me and I’m not scared to compete and I’m not going anywhere. He’s a fighter.”
  13. Umm, there are in between throws that get you the first downs. Also, people wouldn't bitch about deep balls if we could connect on some of them. You would expect our QB1 to get it down at some point. We went from many deep throws every game to many checkdowns that were short of the 1st down marker. I would love for our QB1 to be able to do both, as needed.
  14. His deep throws were pretty accurate. He wasn't overthrowing the wideouts like Quinn was. He has also been in Sark's system for some time. Let's give him a chance.
  15. Quinn's quick checkdowns without going through his progressons were getting on my nerve. He seems to overshoot one way or the other, like throwing too many long balls or too many checkdowns. We need someone who can strike a balance. I am ready to see what Maalik can do.
  16. We can't stop Couger High. It's pathetic!
  17. This defense was playing so well until the last OU drive.
  18. Ewers with his checkdowns will always have high competition percentages. He just doesn't have the ability to pick apart any defense.
  19. We are terrible at executing trick plays.
