  1. aggy was worked again last night by #32 NET (Ole Miss). They’re now 1-5 in the SEC and their only win is against Auburn who hasn’t won a game in the SEC. This is why you don’t do a farewell tour. It’s a business.
  2. I know futureman is a troll so no clue if serious but after George Pickens nobody should ever be certain on this stuff. Schools definitely find ways to get players cleared. The Georgia mods were straight up laughing at the idea of Pickens making it to campus until it happened.
  3. Sark has learned how to play with the roster numbers from Saban so you can bet he’s learned the same in terms of getting guys qualified.
  4. These are very weird hires by aggy this cycle. Sanders (strength coach), Addazio (OL), Durkin (defensive coordinator). With all the money they’re spending on recruits you would think they could do better than this.
  5. Already hired a murderer might as well hire a racist. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.coloradoan.com/amp/8825390002
  6. True but that makes a little sense now. Pinson is an important player for them at point. I see why they turned the ball over so much looking at the stats. Sounds like LSU lost another starter last night in Days.
  7. They’ve looked awful when I’ve watched them play. I didn’t watch the LSU game so not sure how that happened. Did LSU have Covid issues?
  8. Our NET is high because we are 4-1 in Q1 games and the loss was in OT to #7 in NET (Tennessee). The formula for NET really seems to value good wins > losses. In a way, I think playing all these tough non-conference games on the road is the best way to rig the system even it leads to a few more losses.
  9. I think aggys OL is average at best. They’re always going to finish near the top in sack rate because Jimbo often has a TE (or two) chipping and he’s so conservative. They were pretty terrible in the run game this year.
  10. Schaefer is 4-0 against ISU. They’re a very good team but also exactly the type team Schaefer wants to play. They don’t know how to handle things when you ugly it up and make it a rock fight.
  11. I know ISU was down key players but Schaefer always gives teams like that issues. I view them much like Maryland last year. Teams that are offensive minded and play a beautiful style of basketball don’t know how to handle that “I’m gonna make this shit as ugly as possible” type style of play.
  12. Arkansas made a big jump in NET after beating LSU. They were outside the top 85 a few days ago. They aren’t very good though and doubt they finish in the top 50 of NET.
  13. Up to #6 in NET. In a good position even with those two losses at home. This team seems to play better on the road. We have no home court advantage with the shitty arena/crowds and this team comes ready to play on the road.
  14. The aggy way. Beat bad teams and stack wins. Buzz doesn’t have a top 50 NET win in 2 seasons.
  15. The Big 12 is very good in men's and women's basketball this year. It's why it's best to not just look at W/L record. Going 9-9 would likely have both in the top 25 of NET.
  16. Stanford is up to #72 in NET. I think they have a great shot of creeping into the top 50 by seasons end which would make it a Q1 win for Texas.
  17. Logged in not expecting to see a BoB defender. He sucks. Seriously one of the worst play callers I’ve seen.
  18. Rumor on the Bama boards that BoB is gone and that they are going to hire Pruitt in some role. Saban really doesn't give a fuck about the NCAA.
  19. The WCC > Pac 12 this year. I'm not even joking. A team like San Francisco better not be excluded from the tournament this year for some scrub Pac 12 team.
  20. Stanford with another top 50 NET win on the road tonight. That's turning into a much better win than we expected. They are capable of winning a lot of games in the Pac 12.
  21. Here are Schaefer and Beard's records in the tournament. To me, this is actually their biggest strength. Their style of play wins in the tournament. Schaefer 19-6 Beard 10-4
  22. Oh, I think there are definitely issues but Schaefer has a history of having his team playing well in March. Last year, we really didn't turn the corner until late. There were a lot of people questioning if Texas would win a game in the tournament last season after the OU loss in late February. I've said this multiple times, but I view Schaefer and Beard as coaches that are better in March than they are in the regular season. IMO both are going to have seasons that are ugly with results in March. Last season's results in the tournament weren't a shocker to me......Schaefer's style of making the game ugly with a defensive approach works in March much like Beard.
