  1. That is not a good hire. Saban is ruthless and I bet he's about to process some more coaches.
  2. Funny how OU fans weren't complaining about this when they were landing transfers last season instead of losing half their roster.
  3. If aggy had major NIL programs why wouldn't they be public? What's the benefit of keeping that stuff hidden? You want that stuff public so recruits/players see what they can get. I haven't seen any major NIL deal associated with aggy. It's fairly obvious how aggy is getting recruits if you can connect the dots.
  4. Ross Bjork is not good at hiring coaches. I know it was Ole Miss but his hiring track record there was absolutely abysmal. I discussed this in a some thread way back but like 90% of his hires at Ole Miss were complete dumpster fires. aggy picked Bjork for one reason......they knew he would let Jimbo cheat his ass off.
  5. It's odd but their next coach is likely on staff. It sounds like they're just going to promote Bond-White who is on the staff.
  6. I'm once again so impressed with Schaefer because another year where injuries and Covid aren't going our way. I'm pretty sure the plan was to start Moore at the 4 and Gaston at the 5 this year. We've gone almost the entire year without those 2 playing together and multiple games without either of those players. Yet, here we are sitting at #6 in NET as our likely two starting front court players have limited time together.
  7. Our NET is dropping because aggy isn't very good. That win will still be a good win on the road at the end of the year but not nearly as good as we thought. It would have been nice to play Arizona but the strength of the Big 12 should make it up for that cancellation. I watched aggy against TCU and LSU. I don't think they will finish much better than a couple games above .500 in the SEC.
  8. I'm not totally sure aggy will finish with a winning record in any SEC sport this year other than women's basketball. Bart Torvik projects aggy men's basketball to finish 8-10 in the SEC, they are in rebuild mode in year 1 of a new baseball coach, and softball has been in decline for a few years (went 8-16 in the SEC last season). There's still a lot to play out but that would be pretty fucking terrible. Only finishing with a winning SEC record in one out of the seven major sports would be kind of incredible.
  9. Typically what Schaefer does with these types is he runs full court press and makes big girls like that uncomfortable playing that style. We really need one of Gaston or Moore to play that style though. Lee cooked Baylor because they let her get in the half court and use her size in the paint. Gotta make her run.
  10. Baylor is down this year but this is probably the best the conference has been in about a decade. With a round robin schedule there's a chance to pick up a lot of quality wins in the Big 12 this season. In terms of NET: Iowa State #9, K-State #15, Baylor #19, Kansas #33, OU #35. That's 10 games against top 35 teams. I think the Big 12 champion will have 3 or 4 losses this year.
  11. If Alabama loses their top two WRs (which is likely) and Mims transfers I would bet he's headed there. They seem to be looking for a transfer WR.
  12. The entire Williams thing cracks me up. The main reason Williams committed to OU was Riley. His family had a bunch of comments along the lines of "we are one big family and blah blah blah." A few months later Riley bolts. I could understand Williams now wanting to chase a check at Georgia. It's a business and Williams has learned that the hard way.
  13. Liucci was making it sound like the top target was Rob Sale but he's headed to Florida. I haven't really seen anything since then.
  14. Mulkey worked aggy today. I cannot stand that woman but damn she can coach.
  15. I've seen Moore moving around in some clips. She has to be getting close to healthy again I would think.
  16. 2nd half was probably the best I've seen from Ebo at Texas. I'm probably too harsh on her at times because it's not her fault that both Gaston and Moore are out. She's having to play substantial minutes this season due to injuries and Covid when I don't think that was the plan at all.
  17. This team can win the Big 12 with a little luck in terms of injuries/Covid. I think I'm more worried about Iowa State than Baylor.
