was eating in a Taco Bell on a road trip to Nawlins( Ying and yang on the food scale, eh?) and they actually had a promo poster proclaiming the "magic recipe" of their alleged meat. It has since been in our lexicon as a pretty good shot at any shoddy work.
Plus 1 on Taco Casa and the Chelada. Taco Villa in West Texas is always our choice over Taco Bell.
Taco Villa is the best. Hands down. Without question.
Also Bueno exponentially > Bell.

Does Daniel even work anymore? Do any of these people work? It appears that karate consumes the lives of 100% of people living in the valley.
That's the greatest part of the show ... the entire future of the valley hinges on karate.

UT going virtualish until 1/31 to "slow the spread."
Thank goodness. I mean those UT students will be dutifully staying in their dorms or apartments and would never to out or to a party.

Yeah, I'm sure he did that very reluctantly.
The old lady briefly thought about calling in covid ... she was sick the first half of the Christmas break so logically she said she needed another week.

I thought their whole thing was they do everything themselves? What could you sell them? Isn't their deal they are totally self-sustaining?
I've seen them at the Bellmead H-E-B. If you're passing through, the restaurant at the site is amazing.

I have not seen it, but is there data out there on how many students, teachers, administrators, staff, etc., have died from Covid-19 as a direct result of in-school transmission? I am not sure if that is really possible to glean given imperfect contract tracing.

Pretty important addition to the list: The deadliest tornado in Texas (https://www.weather.gov/fwd/wacotormay1953)
On the positive note it gave us Dorie Miller.

I'm a little tardy but have been watching Harlan Coben's shows on Netflix - The Stranger and Stay Close. Both really good murder-mystery shows.
