  1. Second. She was the highlight of the movie. Unfortunately, her exit and her scene setup - hey, all the members of this super secret international terror organization get together for a Cattle Baron's Ball - were two of the stupid parts of a movie with a lot of stupid parts.
  2. Seriously. Seems like so many people get caught, and this case has a video of the car and the perp and nada.
  3. My wife suckered me into the show. I enjoy historical dramas - we visited Scotland years ago, but I really knew nothing of Culloden or the Bonnie Prince. I thought the re-creating of early America was pretty cool. As a 21st Century American, it is interesting to contemplate some of the crazy lives people had that lived during the 17th Century. Imagine growing up as a minor noble and warrior and ending your life literally across the globe as a frontier farmer. That theme song is pretty catchy.
  4. It's funny that what makes Chapelle seem like a genius is he's just doing what comedy used to be: pointing out the absurdity of the culture and speaking truth to power. It's been so long since we've had those types of comedians it seems outrageous, but he stands in a long line of Fox, Bruce, Carlin, Pryor, etc. That's what comedy is supposed to be not the milquetoast, sanitized propaganda of the powerful we get in most "comedians."
  5. That's whats great about Rogan. He asks the most basic, obvious questions that exposes the bullshit. He's a great antithesis to the binary, close-minded world to which so many have become addicted. One does not have to agree with him 100% to appreciate his willingness to ask questions.
  6. Being outraged has become a national obsession.
  7. Felt like there was a Lockett on the K-State roster for two decades.
  8. I saw a woman today turning left, in a mask, looking at her phone while she turned ... I was not shocked her left fender was dented and she had a after-market mismatched grill on her Altima.
  9. It's hard to imagine California thinking this is what it should be spending legislative time addressing.
  10. That's a great analogy. Reflecting on it, the entire move did seem pointless: Dickie was not especially interesting, and we did not see him make any grant impact on the DiMeo family, his crew, Tony, or Newark. The only interesting thing was Junior hit him, but that never played out in The Sopranos. I would have rather had a movie about Paulie ... or anyone else. And why not show Tony as a young solider with his crew.
  11. This definitely feels like the greatest human rights tragedy since the Holocaust.
  12. People even contemplating concessions during the biggest game of the year and the Eyes menstruation is why we continually lose to the Land Thieves. Our culture is Cottonelle.
  13. That ties The Last Jedi as the worst franchise movie of all time. What a disastrous POS. It should forever be banned from the canon. It's Bond's Alan Smithee entry. Agree on AdA. Remake with her as an actual Bond Girl. Burn this anathema. Craig was a great Bond despite horrible material. Just kill the franchise if this is what it's going to be.
  14. Is that looch's screen saver? And yes, please spoiler that.
  15. I think we already know based on today.
