Headed to Bend for 6 days Thursday. Top restaurants (looks like a ton of great ones), hikes nearby or other day trips recommended? One day planned to crater lake and do the rim drive but that is all that is “scheduled” for now. Thanks.
I used to sell services to small town banks all over Texas. Mandatory reading before every sales call to a bank president. The ability to drop a few names and stats on the local boys went a long long way to my retiring in my mid 50’s. Worth its weight in gold. Hook ‘em.
Didn’t read entire thread , so apologies if discussed but has anyone ever used Costco travel? I’ve heard good things about it from ex coworkers . I’m not currently a Costco member but considering it for the travel benefits.
Thanks. Been to breck probably 20 times so skipping it this time. Love it but too darn crowded. Sounds like Dillon will be best for this trip. Appreciate it.
Thanks. I’m going for the solo low key unplug type thing so decided on keystone knowing there wasn’t much in the way of restaurants and bars. (Or as many people)! Do it once a year in a different place and it’s always awesome.
Yeah I get that. Was just wondering how many guys my age could do that. My goals are maintaining strength, keep Vo2 max as high as possible, and staying as flexible as possible. My bar is certainly higher than standing on one leg for 40 seconds…good grief.
Thoughts? I’m 59 and can hit all of these but at the low end. Just started lifting 2 years ago and I’m not trying to max on anything but rather retain muscle . All about flexibility and some decent muscle mass at this point in the game for me. Wonder what percentage of men my age can hit these? 25%?
Solo keystone trip late June. Never been. Been all over Colorado many times but will be first time there. Hiking, lake kayaking etc but Where am I drinking and eating ? Thanks
Was a little limited for restaurants but we did like this place. This was an incredible experience for an old school jazz place. Cannot recommend experience enough if you into that type of thing. Brownstone Jazz. https://g.co/kgs/DqqmRud
Stayed in upper west side last week and loved it. 79th street and broadway. Very quiet neighborhood with tons of small families and not near as much traffic(foot and car) as lower. 22 minutes on the redline to shows on broadway. Restaurants weren’t as plentiful as soho, Chelsea, and other west side haunts, but plenty and still only a short subway there. I’ll never stay in midtown again.
