  1. I was in Mexico recently and had queso ice cream. Not bad. It would be my preferred method of committing suicide I guess.
  2. Can you explain "disaster farming" as it pertains to corn/cotton farming?
  3. I had a friend that always said that he wanted to die peacefully in his sleep like his grandfather did... and not screaming and crying like everyone else in the car. (nod to Todd Snider).
  4. I predict a shit ton of car accidents as everyone driving a car will be glancing at their cell phones at exactly the same time.
  5. I use a Facebook login for my Slickdeals account. Does this mean that someone is going to do my Black Friday shopping for me?
  6. What happened to 'zero fucks given'? Fuck all this shit.
  7. Cool project. Thanks for posting. Looking forward to seeing your progress.
  8. Subscribed. I'm in the market for a leather sectional sofa with built-in recliners. Same price range as AB - perhaps $500 more. Has anyone purchased from Sams or Costco? What's the quality like?
  9. Mom!
  10. Corn dogs and frozen hush puppies kick all kinds off Ass. Elvis wishes that he lived long enough to own one.

  17. Generally speaking, a major factor in the availability of skilled construction labor in Texas is the health of O&G. When O&G is down, skilled construction labor is available. When O&G is up, skilled construction labor is scarce. Other factors mentioned above are also in play.
  18. KGSR just changed formats and got a new name. http://music.blog.austin360.com/2018/09/06/austin-city-limits-radio-deal-with-kgsr-brings-iconic-brand-to-the-airwaves/ “From television show to outdoor festival to music venue, and now to the radio dial: The iconic Austin City Limits brand is extending its reach once again, with Thursday’s announcement that longtime local station KGSR-FM is becoming Austin City Limits Radio.” “Asked for examples of what might carry over from the current KGSR format and the new ACL Radio vision, she suggested that “center-lane, big-brand heralds of AAA” such as Coldplay, Adele, Ed Sheeran and Mumford & Sons would remain. “But we’ll go to the left of that,” she said, with Texas legends such as Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett and Stevie Ray Vaughan, all of whom were KGSR staples in the 1990s. (Nelson’s traditional live-show opener “Whiskey River” will be the first song played on Thursday’s inaugural Austin City Limits Radio broadcast.) “And we’ll widen on the other side for artists like Kendrick Lamar, Drake and others who have played the festival,” Parker added, making it clear that hip-hop — an increasingly prominent genre at ACL Fest in recent years — would be part of the mix.”
  19. RIP Bandit
  20. Fuck Alabama

  22. I like how she says that her list is in "no particular order" and then proceeds to rank them in order.
  23. I was on a project in the 90’s that used fiberglass rebar and fiber reinforced concrete to build a two story anechoic chamber that was completely RF shielded. The facility was for USAF guided weapons systems testing at Eglin. The fibers stuck up from the slab like a porcupine and had to be burned off with a roofing torch. Low tech meet high tech. I believe clean room construction has been using fiberglass rebar for a long time too.
