  1. The area was roughly 4 ea 8'x10' slabs ---> $2,600 w/ 10% cash/early pmt = $7.30/SF
  2. I used these guys to level our concrete pool deck patio last year https://texasconcreteraising.com/ CRC Concrete Raising It was expensive but they did a good job. Had it settle 1/2 " again during drought but they came out and fixed it again as a warranty call. They didn't hesitate at all.
  3. This is where I have been at all summer. Limping along. Didn't want to drain and fill pool during a draught so I'm waiting until next spring. cya off the charts from years of leslies' tabs.
  4. This is my FIL’s ranch in Willow City. They have named it the Big Sky fire. 10% contained and 400 acres burned so far. Say some prayers.
  5. I used my CPAP for the first time in several years. I gave up on it since I couldn't sleep well with it (I toss and turn). I thought I'd give it another try. Now I have weird issue that air is blowing through the corner of my right eye. What the fuck? Anyone hear of this happening?
  6. I have a dolphin skull, but I have plans for it. I'm going to take it out to my BIL's ranch and put it in a ditch where I think he will find it and waste a lot of time trying to figure out what it is and when he does, waste a bunch more time trying to figure out how a dolphin died on his ranch.
  7. I can’t help with your specific issue, but in the future you can probably get free replacement parts from Moen through their lifetime warranty. Just fill out the form on their website. I’ve had good luck in the past. Just know the model number and part you need.
  8. My concern with doing this is my neighborhood is above Barton Creek greenbelt and the neighborhood Karens and/or COA getting in my business.
  9. Yes. And it's creating calcium "barnacles" on the pool's plaster.
  10. The calcium levels are sky high in my pool and I have to empty it and start over. Can I pump the water into my house's waste water cleanout by the curb? If not, where should I send the water? I'm in Austin.

  12. Quick question ya’ll. Do you suppose those ruskie soldiers are still stuck in that elevator?
  13. I just did a drive by on Google Maps and saw this nice lady out front, so there is that going for it. The front of her shirt says "What if" and I would like to imagine that the back says "you go fuck yourself".
  14. Just purchased 10 lovely nights at an Air B&B in lovely Odesa, Ukraine. I hear the beaches are beautiful this time of year. My host Наталья seems like a real nice lady with a spare room.
  15. Jesus Christ just throw the Fucking thing in the dumpster already.
  16. Remember when 60 minutes ran a story about the Selma-Schertz speed trap on 35. I think the feds basically shut it down by saying that local municipalities couldn’t write tickets on interstate highway. Texas Monthly has a story on it too called “The Perfect Speed Trap” if you want to read more about it.
  17. I bought a 2020 Ram 1500 Lonestar for around 8% under MSRP this week, so I think the market might be loosening up a little. Only got $3k for a 2005 F150 XLT which I probably could of gotten $5k for privately, so who knows. I put about $10 k down a took advantage of 0% financing on a 4 year note. Seemed like a square deal — all things considered. One thing I do know is that I’m enjoying all that new technology that’s in my new truck over that 2005.
  18. Fast and Hot. RIP.
  19. The company that did it was Texas Premier Coat You can see the process at their website: Www.texaspremiercoat.com They were awesome to deal with and delivered more than they promised. I had a couple of lower bids but they were for a single color with no pattern. The guy that did the actual work was an artist and worked his ass off to deliver the best end product. Owner: Brett Installer: Junior.
  20. I’ve been considering buying a used truck but the pricing is so ridiculous that now I’m considering buying new. I found a dealer in Austin that is selling Ram 1500s 10% below MSRP. That seems to be about the best out there now. Does this sound reasonable or should I continue to wait? I’m driving a 2005 F150 now so trade in value isn’t really part of the equation. They offered me about $4500 on that.
  21. We hired Power Home Remodeling. I have no idea regarding code compliance issues. Power downplayed it when I asked (our house was built in the mid-70’s). I’m concerned but it’s out of my control so full steam ahead.
