  1. "Blue blood" is a subjective term fucktard, not a fact of history. It's based entirely on perception at a given time. We won our first title in 1963. Nebraska won their first in 1970. Minnesota had 7. To think your 2025 opinion will mean jack shit in 2075, when hardly anyone alive remembers Nebraska wining a title, is laughable hubris.
  2. Hey dipshit, you said "Teams dont become blue bloods and teams don’t lose the designation. The eight blue bloods are now and forever." You think your dumbass opinion of blue blood "designation" in 2025 will mean jack shit 50 years from now? 100 years from now?
  3. I'm sure Minnesota fans thought the same thing in the 1940s.
  4. I don't know that it would've been irrecoverable (hence "I honestly don't know..."), but I think there's a chance it could've been. All the positive momentum around the program would've done a 180.
  5. Choking the ASU game away would've been an absolute disaster. I honestly don't know if Sark would've been able to recover from it.
  6. If Nebraska is still a "blue blood" the term is meaningless.
  7. The significance of 4th and 13 wasn't so much that we advanced.. it's that we avoided one of the biggest choke jobs in CFB history.
  8. This year's national champion will not be a conference champion, and will have either 2 losses or a loss to Northern Illinios. This is the new reality with an expanded playoff.
  9. If Knight really wanted to, Oregon could have a $100M payroll. Or $1B. Or $10B. I can't get inside the head of a billionaire donor, but my guess is they want to give their team a chance without outright buying a championship. Kinda takes away from the thrill of it.
  10. It'll be interesting to see what happens with Oregon once Uncle Phil croaks. Does he leave a few billion for NIL?
  11. "Imagine being an SEC fan..." Could've just stopped there.
  12. I think I've seen maybe 1 in my 10+ years on this site and TOS.
  13. Absolutely no way Auburn can be the kicker next year. Bringing him back after this game and the CCG would be pure negligence.
  14. Another second half meltdown. He better take a long look in the mirror this offseason and fix the fucking problem. We aren't winning shit until he does.
  15. "The game" to Mack means golf, fundraisers, luncheons, etc. He will have zero say over football.
  16. Are yall forgetting that Mack stayed in Austin and was even given some bullshit title for 4+ years after he was fired? He had no power then and will have even less now. He's an old man who wants to be patted on the head.
  17. I thought it was decent. I liked the Leach story. And the story about the team watching the USC-ND game. Not an "amazing interview," but interesting enough for me to listen to the entire thing.
  18. Damn 5 pages of handwringing because Mack is moving back to Austin. Do you guys imagine him walking into CDC's office and saying "Pack your shit, I'm the AD now!"? He's 73 and hasn't been relevant since we shitcanned him over a decade ago. Nobody cares what he says or thinks. He's wants to sit up in a press box on gameday so he can be cheered when they show him on the jumbotron. That's all this is about.
  19. Texags has been a gold mine since we bitch slapped them. They've been in an existential crisis ever since.
