  1. Was just about to post that. But who cares, we're stacked at LB!
  2. Are we sure "Hayes Fawcett" isn't an AI bot?
  3. Second team all district, second round of the NFL draft... what difference does it make?
  4. I'm referring to the post about our edge room being set. I don't think the staff is complacent.
  5. Complacency is what brought down MBTF. That said, if Tech wants to give him rediculous money, have fun in Lubbock I guess.
  6. Didn't Tech already have one of the most expensive rosters with all the transfers they bought? So how are they able to (openly) throw all this $ around? It's not like these deals are happening under the table.
  7. I like Gerry, but he also said Cam Williams would be a 1st rounder. Turntine definitely has the athleticism, but there's nothing simple about adding 30lbs while still maintaining his explosiveness. I'm glad we got him though. We'll see how he develops.
  8. Damn wonder who it was. If it was Krempin meh. If it was Lee then fuck that motherfucker.
  9. Our roster is set for the next 2 years, assuming we keep everyone we want. In the meantime, the house settlement will either be challenged/overturned, or loopholes will be discovered. If it's the latter, I assume we'll partake.. otherwise, just shut it down and focus on olympic sports.
  10. Bobby recently said if they were to re-rank our last class based on early returns, Brooks would be #1. I assume he'll start if Goosby leaves. I'm not overly concerned if we miss on an expensive project like Ojo. Sucks we didn't get Lee though.
  11. Can we win at least one title before we start worrying about the health of the sport?
  12. "Max exodus" was used in reference to transfers, not early draft entrees. The point is that it's possible to have both an elite roster and elite recruiting assuming you have the funds and the willingness to use them.
  13. The implication was that they haven't had mass exoduses due to lack of NIL funding, which is true. Players leaving early for the NFL has very little to do with NIL, or lack thereof. The sky isn't falling, but it looks like Sark and TPTB will have to reevaluate some things and adjust accordingly. They've done just that every cycle, and I expect them to do it again.
  14. So how did we get Terry? I'm genuinely curious. Do they make exceptions if they think someone is a can't miss prospect?
  15. Not really relevant to '26 recruiting. He'll be a junior when they get to campus.
  16. The green waters of Corpus yesterday afternoon:
  17. Are you assuming Charles/Sharma/Terry (and 4+ DTs from this class) won't be ready to step up in 2027? If that's the case, the portal would be the solution, not another HS recruit. And we just signed 5 from the portal. Doubtful they all hit, but the same can be said for HSers. Again, I'm not against it if they all want in. I just have a hard time seeing it.
  18. We would be better off hitting the portal for an immediate contributor if Watson and/or January leave early.
  19. I have seen it. Assuming no attrition, we only lose Brevard and Hunter after next season, leaving 8 plus however many we sign this class. 5 would be a luxury, not a necessity. I don't disagree.
  20. I have a hard time seeing 5 DTs sticking. We might take them all if they want in, but we don't "need" 5 after backfilling through the portal.
  21. Have to think one of our current DT commits will either look around or be encouraged to do so if we land 2 more. Not a bad problem to have I guess.
  22. In all seriousness, he looks much more like a TE than Kent.
  23. Either Sark is actually 5'7 or Berrymon is taller than 6'1.5.
  24. What exactly is stopping Texas from playing the bag game? We've established that paying players isn't morally wrong (quite the opposite, actually). Is it out of respect for the virtuous and ethical NCAA?
