  1. Orlando is _iaz redux. He's been figured out. He sucked last season and he appears to suck even more now. Jason Washington also seems like he sucks.
  2. Ra'Shaad Samples is like 8 years younger than Kelly.
  3. Didn't Hamm go like 0/15 on predictions one year? It seems like it would be statistically impossible to literally be wrong every single time, but here this idiot is.
  4. But I thought Robinson wasn't for sale? lol. This is the landscape. Either some boosters step forward, or we get left in the dust.
  5. Lol. The Pac 12 is terrible. Texas had 2 better wins last season than Washington has had in the last 3.
  6. I expect us to take a grad transfer and/or JUCO on the O-line every year, and we should. O-linemen typically aren't ready for meaningful snaps until their 3rd year in the program, so why take 5 high schoolers every year and end up with 10 guys on scholarship who aren't contributing? It makes much more sense to take 3-4 and supplement with guys who can play right away. There's also the fact that the O-line is arguably the most difficult position group to evaluate (although this staff seems pretty good at it). With grad transfers/JUCOs, their ceiling may not be as high, but you at least know what you're getting. OU has been doing it for years.
  7. People were saying the same thing about the in-state OL in the 2019 class...
  8. Shepherd may be a likely bust, but he's still worth the risk. It's not like he'll be taking a roster spot for 4 years if he doesn't pan out.
  9. Lol. I'm sure Kingsbury appreciates Mack pulling his name out of his ass.
  10. ^^ he didn't really mean that FWK...
  11. Did you watch the game? He was getting hit in the backfield every time he touched the ball. Whatever our run/pass tell is, TCU was keyed in on it when Young was on the field. When he isn't getting hit the moment he gets the ball, he's probably our hardest runner.
  12. Different circumstances. Our class was fucked because everyone knew Charlie was on his way out. Little and Chaison were the only major targets we still had a chance with after firing Strong.
  13. Maybe you don't remember, but 2017 was a transition class. Little and Chaison were the only ones that really stung. Most of the other guys weren't even considering us. This year we've lost Nana, Bragg, Wilson, Leal and Wright, all guys who were considered Texas leans at one point.
  14. So everything's fine and all we have to do is wait for aggy to aggy? It's not just about A&M. I don't remember us ever taking this many kicks to the groin in a single cycle. 2017 sucked, but we knew it would be tough after going 5-7 and firing our coach. This year we're just getting punked.
  15. Aggy may squander more talent than anyone in the country, but they're kicking our ass on the trail right now. Hopefully Herman isn't burying his head in the sand the way some of you guys are and actually has a plan to make some necessary changes.
  16. This. Jettison Meh and Warehime, move Beck to WR and Meekins back to TE, and hire a competent OC and a Dline coach that can recruit.
  17. Is lying to the press a fireable offense? I'm not trying to defend Urban; I would love to see him fired and for OSU to gtfo of Texas. Just saying that there is a precedent for a coach reporting a wife beater on his staff (which I don't believe Urban actually did), not immediately firing him, and keeping his job.
  18. Mike MacIntyre allowed an alleged wife beater to remain on his staff after reporting him to the AD, and he still has his job. So there is a precedent. This is obviously the path that Meyer/OSU are trying to follow.
  19. What difference do ties to Nebraska make? It's not exactly a recruiting hotbed.
