As long as Texas A&M maintains their shrine to white supremacy on their campus, any discussion of Texas A&M will be open to a discussion of aggy's cultural racism. It is impossible to openly discuss the culture of Texas A&M without including their corps cultural value of virulent racism. Their "get woke, go broke" bleatings were not fueled by any intelligent evaluation of NFL ratings. Those bleatings were fueled by cultural racism and their insistence that anyone who promotes racial diversity threatens "aggy values." I'm not giving them a pass on their systemic, cultural and institutional racism. Never gonna happen.

You want me to quit laughing about aggy stupidity in general, or aggy racist behavior? Not that I'm going to do either. I'm just asking. I'm doing a dive into Ku Klux Klan #48, Realm of Texas (Bryan, Texas), so the aggy racist stuff isn't going to go away. I'm finding some interesting stuff. Yes, aggys openly promoted Klan events during home football games. Yes, the local newspapers were quite proud that A&M students regularly attended Klan events. Yes, Texas A&M today has a faculty/ alumni Klan robe collection on campus. Yes, Jefferson Davis was the first individual chosen as school president. Yes, A&M professors openly lectured about "the abomination of African citizenship." Yes, Sul Ross was a virulent white supremacist. Yes, the refusal of aggys to address its historical association with virulent racism is rooted in their cultural desire to perpetuate virulent racism. No, I'm not going to "fuck off" mocking them for their cultural defects, including their penchant for promoting racism. Why not? Because of the many things I am, I am a virulent anti-racist. Any organization that maintains an open shrine to white supremacy and that venerates a virulent white supremacist as the paragon of their cultural values will be openly and relentlessly mocked by me. And.... Because the people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M. Next question.

As we talked about yesterday, at least it was a fun game to watch. And not from the perspective of an ardent supporter of the program. My biggest complaint about Tom Herman is that he doesn't put a product on the field that is fun to watch as a fan of the game of college football. Last night was one of the few UT football games in the Tom Herman era that was truly fun to watch.
-
In the whole "Tom Herman" saga, the one thing I am truly enjoying is Tom's inability to understand that having a degree from Cal Lutheran doesn't necessarily make someone the smartest person in the room. One of Tom's biggest issues since becoming head coach at UT has been grasping the fact he is no longer the smartest person in the room. At some point, bullshit doesn't count, only competence matters. He should have grasped that when his team got trucked by Ed Orgeron. That being said, fuck it. It's in the books. Casey left us with a positive feeling. The guys who stuck with the program played well. We're baaaaack! (too soon?)

I stand corrected. I didn't know "alma mater" was now restricted to only undergraduate degrees. Can you forward me a copy of the memo that instituted that policy? It will save me a fair amount of money that I would have otherwise donated to my alma mater graduate degree granting institution.
-
If a coach was 22-4 at his first head coaching job after winning a blowout national championship as an offensive coordinator and with blowout wins over FSU and OU in the same year as a head coach, would you think he had at least some potential if he came back to his alma mater?

While the ags were in their typical full racist “get woke, go broke” frenzy, insisting the NFL was paying dearly for embracing racial equality, the rest of the nation was watching NFL football. Yet again, the ags have proven it’s not mainstream Americans who are adamantly against racial equality, just the racists in America. The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M. “While the NFL’s seasonal ratings declines have been met with the usual blend of uninformed hooting about backlashes and boycotts and the performative gnashing of teeth and rending of garments, the league’s hegemonic stranglehold on American TV consumption showed little sign of abating in 2020. The NFL delivered 32 of the year’s 50 biggest TV audiences, a tally that includes 14 of the top 20 programs, of which three were games that aired during the current season.” https://www.sportico.com/business/media/2020/2020-tv-ratings-nfl-1234619216/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=exacttarget&utm_campaign=Sportico_Daily&utm_content=246491_12-29-2020_nfl-retains-its-tv-crown-as-sports-&utm_term=8165163

Maybe they are planning on honoring their constitutional status as the agricultural branch college of The University. (yes, its a joke. No one at UT would dare give aggy permission to use the school's trademarked color. aggys candy any uniform up simply by putting it on. UT doesn't candy up its uniforms. And by "uniform," I am making the distinction between an actual uniform and a cringeworthy fake military costume. Which they also candy up by simply putting them on).

aggy gotta aggy. They defended Manziel was he was arrested, along with his buddy "Nate," after the two of them got into a fight near Northgate with a man whose only offense was objecting to the two of them yelling "nigger" at the man. But Kellen Mond, whose only offense was not being born of pure Aryan blood. Once an aggy, always an aggy....
-
Because an aggy had to decide where to put it and aggy is an agricultural school. Them is smart! Their "Department of Visualization" is paying aggy-quality dividends. "Visualization is the blending of art and science focusing on visual communication. The Bachelor of Science in Visualization is a studio-based program requiring completion of 120 credit hours including elements of traditional art, programming, history, and theory as well as digital media. The degree prepares students for the artistic and technical demands facing digital content creators in a variety of visually-oriented professions including interactive design, information technology, education, entertainment, and independent practice." https://catalog.tamu.edu/undergraduate/architecture/visualization/ Meanwhile, a few pictures of the TAMU campus. Notice all the lovely palm trees.

One post and complete silence. Glad to know we could so completely answer his question so easily. Either we're getting better at dumbing things down for the students and alumni of the University's agricultural branch college, or our friend had to get back to making sure "the truth" is known so Donald Trump can stay in office. aggy gotta aggy. By the way, I found an update buried in the latest TAMU System financials, filed with federal regulators earlier this month. Remember John "Sul Ross today, Sul Ross tomorrow, Sul Ross forever!" Sharp and Rick "Niggerhead" Perry claiming the aggy vaccine manufacturing plant was a "game changer for the world" and how it would deliver tens of millions of doses of vaccine starting within four months of receiving just a sample of the of the virus? Well, even though we desperately need all the vaccine we can produce (no offense to any anti-vaxxers), the federal government has evidently looked into the aggy vaccine plant and given the aggys the "No thank you. Don't call us, we'll call you" we expected. Remember, this document was filed about a week ago, so any "but they changed their mind and they love us now" is right up there with their redneck fairy tale about how only aggys ever serve their country and the rest of us are obligated to spending our lives thanking each and every student and alumnus of A&M for their sacrifice for our country. "On March 15, 2020, the Texas A&M University System began to receive questions about the status of its vaccine manufacturing capabilities. “The Texas A&M University System completed the construction of two new facilities and the retrofitting of a third site on time and on budget in 2017. The System and its subcontractor, FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies (FDB), are ready to respond to an order from the federal government to manufacture vaccines. To date, the System has received no federal order."

Bessie Ross was Sul Ross’ daughter. Probably one of the best suited individuals ever to opine on whether or not Sul Ross was a white supremacist. Not that any of the rednecks would know, but their “Ross Volunteer” sub-fraternity is named in honor of Dear Bessie.

I have no problems with ags coming over here, as long as they do their best to not act like aggys. Heck, I'm still trying to find a winner for the $1,000 aggy challenge to identify (based on their official story) which of the five home games in 1907 their yell leader "tradition" started. Six guesses max. Given all the necessary information to pick one of five games, given six guesses, and not a single "college educated" aggy has been able to claim the $1,000 prize that has been offered for a couple of years now. And people ask why we mock aggy.

Speaking of aggy cultural racism, Texas Monthly Jan 2021 has an article covering Sul Ross that is anything but flattering. They are warming up for the expected whitewash (pun intended) of Ross to come this spring from John Sharp and the rest of his band of happy racists. "As he sought public office in the years after the Civil War, Ross embellished details of the event so that he would appear more heroic. Ranching legend Charles Goodnight, who inspired the character Woodrow Call in Lonesome Dove, once dubbed Ross “a lying four-flusher,” an old-fashioned term for someone who makes empty claims for personal gain. To learn more about the four-flusher, I then drove two hundred miles to the house of retired attorney and former Hood County district judge Tom Crum, on the Brazos River southeast of Granbury. Crum has spent more than 25 years researching the 1860 massacre. He has located nine accounts Ross gave, all different. “He’d be the ideal person to have on the witness stand,” Crum said, “until he gets cross-examined.” " https://www.texasmonthly.com/being-texan/pease-river-battle/

You obviously don't get the entertainment out of "that which is aggy" that others of us do. "Educated" adults who literally cannot discern between fairy tale and fact. Whose education constitutes rote memorization-based vocational training, not meaningful learning. Individuals who are so committed to fabricated "history" that they cannot understand why others who are better educated laugh at them for their ingnorance and unwillingness to commit to becoming educated individuals. Sanctimony, ignorance, naivety, and endless self-aggrandizement. A rather comical bunch of people who wake up every day wishing they were "just like Texas" who have no knowledge what it is like to be "just like Texas." As the branch agricultural college of The University of Texas, they have been given far more resources than the other land-grant schools they were modeled after (Michigan State, Kansas State), yet their collective failures far outweigh their collective accomplishments (perfecting cold fusion, discovering the secrets of alchemy, building wooden structures). Go read aggypedia.com. aggy is sad, pathetic, embarrassing, comical, astonishing. To laugh at and to mock aggy is appropriate. We don't ignore them because of the entertainment they provide and because if we simply ignore them, they will do even dumber things than when under the watchful eyes of their big brother. If you had a little brother who was developmentally disabled, would you simply ignore him? The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M. And aggy will never deliver what the people of Texas deserve unless we relentlessly push them to grow the fuck up and start delivering on the expectations of a branch college of The University of Texas. Now, do you want the long version?

I openly mock the "aggy education," but never without justification. Today's mockery of aggy - the "virtuous" insistence that "All OPT-OUTS are QUITTERS and should be shamed as such." Yes, using "aggy logic" the ags are bleating about how players who opt to not play their college bowl games because they need to focus on an upcoming test that is crucial to their long-term professional ambitions (senior day, pro day) are "quitters" and should be shamed. In fact, one talks about how, when he was a little kid, his dad talked him out of quitting pee-we football - "No, you will not quit anything you start!" I guess to aggys, it would be just as odious to opt out of previous commitments in order to begin focused preparation for the LSAT, MCAT, or the like. Ok, cool. Whoop! The comedy in this is that to aggys, opting out of a college football bowl game is unthinkable, but opting out of a sacred oath in order to take up armed violence against one's country in the name of white supremacy is something that should he honored in perpetuity and a selfless example of how one should live their life. Sul Ross is supposed to be the exemplar of "aggy virtue." Isn't his decision to "opt out" of his oath to defend the constitution in order to enforce white supremacy (by summary execution if necessary. Remember Yazoo City?) the corps of all that aggys stand for? Only at Texas A&M is "opting out" of an impromptu exhibition football game to prepare for an exam that would allow an individual to be admitted to his chosen profession something bad, while "opting out" of a sworn oath to take up arms against one's country in the name of white supremacy is supremely honorable. Why not just come out and say what you believe, aggys, "Whites deciding to 'opt out' of promise, oath, or commitment is absolutely acceptable. But when blacks 'opt out' they deserve punishment, which at the very least should be public shaming." The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M.

Aggy tears playoff selection conspiracy thread
Randolph Duke replied to Beau Vine's topic in Football
aggy hasn’t won 10 games against FBS opponents since the 1990s. It has been just as long since they had consecutive seasons with a winning record in conference play. They have been masquerading as a “football powerhouse” for longer than 15 yrs. -

I'm getting ready to do a deep dive into the finances of the major college sports programs. Aaron is going to let me publish what I write on the site (he did the same thing in 2013 when I wrote my article debunking the aggy "12th Man" fairy tale. I post over there on occasion. So, yes. That's me. I have the "Randolph Duke" name on most message boards. Have to keep hijackers from taking the name and pretending to post under my name. If you look over on TexAgs, "Randolph Duke" has one post. Got banned by those fuckers on my initial salvo. They haven't invited me back since.
