  1. Was watching the end at kid soccer and grabbed a couple screenshots, and somehow got an incredible one of Tsimikas in front a smoke filled stadium. It's on my phone and if anyone more tech savvy than me can post, DM me your cell # and I'll shoot it over. If you just want it do the same. #notascamIpromise
  2. Alisson Tsimikas/Matip/Konate/Gomez Ox/Jones/Elliott Firmino/Jota/Minamino(Origi) Mane/Diaz ready to come on at ~60/70 (maybe not Mane) Can't see playnig Mo/Fabinho/VVD Hard to see get much more than 15-20 Thiago/Robertson/Henderson
  3. job done, been good to have gotten a couple more, but those dudes played hard.
  4. jeez, what a goal. Who played it into Diaz?
  5. I have a theory that the FK in soccer, particularly within 10 yards of the penatly area is one of the most over rated and under delivering moments in sport. Almst always nothing happens, it's either well off the target or goes harmlessly into the wall. We all remember the good ones, but think there are many many more duds.
  6. Robertson too, although he's not even on the bench.
  7. That’s nice. Think it will look clean on teh field.
  8. doesn't seem that far off a couple of the Nike ones
  9. Good stuff, I love stadiums and that venue in London will be used a lot I'd think. Chelsea will be doing something sometime soon. Liverpool is expanding Anfield as we speak and probably close to eh max they need anyway. Don't think we're building anything new. Can't think of many places here that it would be cost effective. Seattle/Atlanta seems to have a good scene and can fill theirs up from time to time, bu think most MLS teams would struggle in a big environment.
  10. yeah, just above the delayed offside rule for me.
  11. Thanks, that was very cool to see. Curious if this gets duplicated more or if people deem the expense is more than benefits it provides. Pretty unbelievable technology.
  12. Thanks. Interesting (to me) that the smaller field is underneath, but logistically I see how it makes sense, because turf doesn't need sunlight or water.
  13. can you refresh my memory, is there another field for NFL games and if so, how long does it take to turn that around?
  14. Possibility. Game on Saturday at noon, get in and be rested (and watch the game at the hotel.
  15. my personal diary of complaining. We're in DFW. Kid has a game in Houston at 1PM this Saturday, Liverpool game at 1:45 (stream first half, try to find somewhere for the second if still on) FAC final - local game at 2PM, Liverpool game at 10:45(have to leave about 12 minutes into the second half. 5/22 - Kid game in Tulsa at 3PM, so we'll be on the road the whole time. NOTHING on the Champions League final game though!
  16. A lot of what people didn't like about last season are there with the many and confusing advantages. There's very few interesting people. The last tribal brought up diversity issues in a big way, but not really directed at anyone. That may have been the most interesting part this season and it (predictably) is very polarizing. There's really not much to recommend. Bottom line for me, the people just aren't very interesting or fun to watch.
  17. FYI - think it’s going to be shown at 8:30 on CBSSN.

  19. Joe my motm. Anyone surprised? Will be interesting to see what they do with him this summer. Think this is a reason Klopp is trying to find him minutes and so far I think he’s doing everything to earn them.
  20. It’s another one, but take the two minutes.
  21. where tf did he end up? Kind of funny how perceptions are developed.
  22. Doesn’t prevent it, but it’s a good sign IMO.
