  1. I never said anything about the government or Biden Admin..I just find it very hard to believe this kid outsmarted the State police and especially the Secret Service without inside information/ help..And, also find it hard to believe he outsmarted them by picking the one spot to shoot from that posed the highest probability of a threat in that entire place. You are saying both of these highly trained organizations are that incompetent?
  2. Like I said, who in their right mind would attempt it? It's not like there is a line around the block of people that want to take a pop shot at an ex President. I mean people hate politicians with a passion, but they only think it, not willing to act on it. Maybe some local dirtbag meets this loner kid who seems like the school shooter type, likes playing with guns, and sees an opportunity. 130 yards is an easy shot even with Iron sights..
  3. I didn't say the government did it. It could be a local dirtbag police with access to information about the security setup that hates Trump..You don't find it strange the kid picked that building after it was marked safe, and it's the one building that gives him direct line of sight to Trump and the slope of the roof shields him from the other sniper teams while he sets up?.. Who is this kid? No military or sniper training, and he somehow picks the only spot in that whole place where he has a good chance to get a shot off before being killed...Like I said he must be Rambo or Spiderman to pull that off on his own with law enforcement and eye witnesses everywhere.
  4. Ok, so you're saying State Police and Secret Service are just that incompetent to allow a 20 year old loner dweeb to outsmart all of them with no help at all? Who is this kid, Rambo or Spiderman?
  5. Who else would you get to do it? Nobody in their right mind goes out to kill a politician and believes they are going to get away with it right? Or, even live when there are sniper teams all around. You think they would find a trained sniper with a death wish to do the job? I mean I doubt there would be a lot of people that willingly want to sign up for this job knowing the job most likely ends with them being dead..
  6. I don't think Pennsylvania State Police are like local PD, (think more like Texas Rangers type organization), not your typical rural police. Don't think they would likely be as incompetent as it seems.. Now several people are reporting the building the kid used had already been swept and cleared and was used as a staging area for the security personnel. These seems even more and more like an inside job. The building swept and cleared so now local dirt bag cop or whoever helps the kid get on the building with a weapon since authorities already cleared/ approved the building as a safe zone and not monitoring it as closely.
  7. So they had deputy Barney Fife covering the "main" threat in the whole area, the one high point that didn't have snipers on it, and Barney had to take a crap and took his eye off the ball for 30 minutes? This just looks worse and worse for the security folks that were there...
  8. Local PD? I thought it was Pennsylvania State Police...If it was, it makes it even more mind boggling...Seems like an inside job to me, but don't want to speculate. How does this kid even pull this off without help though? Someone turning a blind eye letting him near the buildings? None of it makes sense. No way Secret Service and State Police could be this incompetent. The only way this doesn't come out looking real bad for the SS is someone in local law enforcement helped the kid..
  9. A rifle and a ladder, right? Or was the ladder already there? Anyway, it seems like he was seen climbing up on the roof and then crawling around on the roof, but the police were confused or couldn't find him? The whole story is really weird. Seems like total incompetence by local authorities and Secret Service and lack of communication...
  10. Yes, it is possible, but I don't think the PTSD is solely because of Trump. The media is a huge part of it.
  11. They should honestly, along with New Mexico, and California.
  12. Nice story, sounds like a magical place still where the government doesn't control everything. I wanted to build a small cabin on my land that I own outright in the middle of almost nowhere in AZ with my own money, and the County still has building codes, guidelines, inspections you have to pass for anything over 250 square feet that is not for livestock use. Maybe I could hire some migrants to do it cheap, but wonder how many inspections I would fail?
  13. In California, and especially AZ, they love it when your A/C goes out in your home or car. They start dreaming about the $$$$ they can get out of you. Especially AZ, because they know you aren't living here without it...
  14. I probably don't live where you live, and I did shop around, had to get multiple quotes for insurance.
  15. That was what I was quoted by 4 different companies in the area. It was just a standard tile roof, on almost 1,900 square foot house....With a big back porch that got reshingled also.
  16. Maybe they do, but they still charge an arm and a leg no matter, at least where I have owned homes in the last 10 years. Spent 20,000 dollars on a roof replacement, and almost 20,000 dollars having A/C replaced on last house I owned...
  17. I have done all of that because of people I know in the Border Patrol that have asked me to volunteer..I've went down there to help when it's Summer here too when it's hot enough to fry an egg on the top of your head.. My friends and I ride in on horseback and hunt and camp in a lot of the same areas as well, and have helped many immigrants with food, water, directions for help, etc. Have run into several drug mules, and spotters up in the mountains, just stay away from those types.
  18. More chance than anyone on here that probably hasn't even been near the really bad parts of the border, and think every story is sensationalized for political reasons, or just numb to the stories so don't give a shit.. If you're from AZ, have you ever volunteered to go down to the border with groups that help distressed immigrants in the desert? Or groups that clean up the trash down there or find and bury the bodies? Or do you just sit on your ass watching Juan mow your lawn In Gilbert, or Scottsdale?
  19. They did cover it, but it happened years ago. It was on the local news here in Arizona for a while... Do you think they cover border crap daily here? It's like nonstop bad news, ranchers complaining, drug busts, dead people found in desert, cartel shootouts across the border...It's same shit, different day, every day, so anything that happens anymore doesn't even much make the evening news here, like that story above...First time I heard about it was from my friend and I read it on the internet..
  20. You want a recent story from what you might consider a trustworthy news source, here you go - https://www.cbsnews.com/news/five-bodies-found-in-torched-suv-in-arizona-likely-drug-related-violence-police-say/ Half the shit doesn't even get reported anymore, because like you said, the cartels are violent, and everyone knows it and who gives a shit, right?
  21. It's because it happened years ago, and honestly it's not huge news anymore...They've found hundreds of bodies in the desert mostly due to exhaustion, being abandon by the coyote cartel dudes leaving them behind. There's groups of people that go out searching for the bodies to make sure they get buried properly...If you want a similar more recent story of how the cartels murder and rid themselves of enemies in Arizona here you go - https://www.cbsnews.com/news/five-bodies-found-in-torched-suv-in-arizona-likely-drug-related-violence-police-say/
  22. There's been problems at the border since forever, and it's just gotten progressively worse to the point it is at now. Everyone who has been elected in DC that's watched the shitshow for years and years is responsible. It shouldn't even be a question on either side of the aisle that we need way better laws around immigration...They all just keep passing the buck on the issue or coming up with really stupid "supposedly bipartisan" crappy Bills that they know will never pass...In fact, it seems like the only time they try to make laws is when they know that it won't pass.
  23. They get something called FERS...I don't know anything about it, but I know a couple of retired police officers in Phoenix that make really good money from their pension. Like close to the salary they were making when they retired...Not sure if it's the same though..
  24. I did answer. But, to be more precise, they feel like they are not being allowed to do the job they were hired and trained to do. They are basically being forced to be babysitters and paper pushers and work very long hours and not enforce the law. They wanted to work in law enforcement and make a difference. Now they are just used as pawns by politicians. Top that off with all the shit they've seen related to patrolling the border for many years and the strain it's put on their family life then yeah, they have some mental health issues... They are literally just in it for the pension now, and counting the days, and hate the job, the ones I know..
  25. Why don't you ask to go on a patrol with them at night in the southern mountains of Arizona? Then you can find out how they feel. We know that ain't happening, Right? From what I see, most of them just want to collect their pension and retire, or shoot themselves...It's not an easy job...You realize a lot of them have committed suicide right?
