Dude, I know. It's incredible how much it has grown since I was in college in 2005. Like, we're talking it went from 600,000 then to now it feels like I'm driving through Houston when I come back.
I've honestly been to probably 50+ MLB games and I don't even know how many minor league games and I have never in my life seen a fight. Not once. Everyone is just drinking in their seats, chilling. MLB (or baseball in general) have the most chill vibes. It's not the EPL, Bundesliga, Ligue 1. NFL is the only one I can think of that's even close. Even MLS games are cool af and chill. The NFL and EPL are in a league of their own, imo,
Took my nephew to a game before the new Cowboys stadium was finished and we were watching Dallas v San Fran. Weirdly a bunch of 49er fans were there. TO had a beautiful pass from Romo and took it to the house in something like the first 5 mins of the game. The people behind me a few rows up got into it and fist were flying. I have never been back to an NFL game. He loved it, though. He was like 12 or something then. Then as we were leaving we had San Fran fans shit talking us. A grown ass man and his donkey wife talking shit to me and a kid. Embarrassing. Absolutely disgraceful. And yes, of course he was a grown ass fat guy wearing a jersey. Because of course he's an adult who thinks wearing jerseys is cool.
Yeah, I cannot bring myself to dislike or even slight CJ in the least. He put in 3 years here, and in this day and time you gotta respect that. It sucks about his injury, but he tried. He'll always be a Longhorn to me.
NGL, when that Kentucky frosh QB came in and started coming off the top ropes on our defense I was like, I don't think my heart can take this, even in my 30s. Being a graduate of Texas is different than being a fan. I can separate the two, and as a fan it has become frustrating with the bend but don't break shit when it's breaking.
This is kind of my headspce. Do they feel slighted or were they offered more or less the same relative to a school like Indiana or whomever? I'm also going to be pissed if CJ burns us, but we'll finally get to see what he could have looked like if he had an average to above average line, so I'll also feel happy if we beat their asses. Then I won't care about the numbers. And yeah, seeing them flex on Bama and others is funny as hell, even if we're like Kentucky? Tf?
RSing is beginning to become a relic of the past. Skill players absolutely don't want to do that unless they're already humble (seems like Lockett is that guy). Even DB's and LB's simply can't wait tgeir turn and get better. Just go to a farm team, show out, get paid.
I don't know if this is sarcasm and my meter is broken, but in no world are they paying Black $3.5 million. I doubt even a million. I can see high six-figures, but not millions.
You can tell he's been battered. He can't even bring himself to make even the slightest sarcastic comment about it. He just accepts the defeat. It's actually astonishing. I'm not sure we've seen that Billy before. Cam Coleman broke him.
