  1. More Texas football? Sign me the fuck up! We missed CFP, but whatever. We still get one last game before 2026, and honestly, I'm pretty hyped about beating Michigan again. Let's see the young players ball out and get ahead. I hope everyone plays, but I also won't begrudge anyone who sits out. Like someone said above— one day football will be over, and we'll think back and say "that was the last snap we'll ever see." Man, I still like bowl games because 1) once February hits, we have to wait until June for real news, and 2) Shit, it's football, yo! We'll all be dying just to watch Indiana St take on Austin Peay on Aug 28th or some shit.
  2. Is RGIII retarded or has his CTE advanced?
  3. I really do want to hate that mf'er, but he's so fucking good. Just like I wanted to hate Sean Taylor, but it's impossible. You know greatness when you see it. Kyle Hamilton, Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor (Virginia Tech has put out some really good talent), Derwin James, Ed Reed, Troy Polamalu, Brian Dawkins, Eric Berry, Tyrann Mathieu (honey badger don't sleep), Minkah Fitzpatrick. When you know, you know.
  4. Man, now there's a name I haven't heard in a long, long time. I wonder whatever happened to him? Low key, Central Michigan has actually had some absolute ballers— Antonio Brown, JJ Watt before he transferred, Joe Staley, Eric Fisher, Joe Ostman, Josh Gordy are just the ones I can think of. They also have more recent #1 overall picks than we do (Eric Fisher).
  5. Well, yeah. It's Indiana. They can afford to take gambles like that because, well, they don't have the weight of the world on their shoulders like a Texas, Bama, OU, Michigan, USC, UF, UGA, watching their every move. Had Cig and Indiana flipped, no one would bat an eye. They hit the lottery, and honestly, good for them. This is why we need party more in CFB, to get moments like these. Florida is getting shit because they're a name brand. Just like we took shit for hiring Charlie Strong, or having our incompetent AD fly out to beg Harsin to take the OC job. We got dunked on, and rightfully so. It's embarrassing as fuck. We, UF, and all the big name schools are set to a different standard, whereas Indiana didn't have anyone outside of basketball who gave a af, other than IU grads and fans, so their standard was "let's throw spaghetti against the wall and see what sticks." It worked. Most of the time it doesn't work, but just like Bowling Green once had Urban Meyer, OU has Cignetti, who may choose to stay, and I hope he does. Seeing IU choke out fOSU, Oregon, Michigan, etc is why CFB is the absolute best sport.
  6. Yes, and I agree. Looking back he was, like @lilMAC25 said, was far, far more important to Texas than Bush was to USC, so yeah, looking at it like that, he really should have won it.
  7. Bro, I wanted VY to win it, obviously, but look at how many Heisman winners pad their stats over shit teams. Had the Heisman been given after the NC, which logic dictates it should be, VY would have it unanimously. But regular season? VY had 26-10 passing TD's. That's uh, not great. He did, however, have over 1k rushing, which is great, and 37 overall TD's, but again, that's good, but not great. Leinart in 2004 had 3300-33-6 Bush in 2005 had 1700 rushing yard with 16 TD's @ 8.7 ypc. That's phenomenal. He also had almost 500 receiving and 2 TDs. He also had a punt return for a td. Washington was the only team to hold him under 80 yards. VY had six games where he his pass % was less than 60%. I do not blame the committee for awarding Bush the Heisman. Stop being a Homer and go look at stats. Had the Heisman been awarded after NC, VY would have it, no questions. But, he doesn't. It is what it is. As you grow older and look at each players stats, you can clearly see why Bush won it.
  8. Yep. Those dudes are killers. Well coached. I'll be pulling for them.
  9. Right???? You would think at least ONE would be bangable
  10. Bro.......Indiana is better than us. Womp Womp Womp. Anyway, at least those buckeye fuckers took that loss like the pussies they are
  11. Reggie did also deserve it, and I want to be unbiased. Both he and VY deserved it, but it is what it is. But yeah, Mendoza absolutely deserves the Heisman. He's so much better than Pavia as a QB
  12. I really like that Becker dude. We should, uh, go steal him.
  13. Aggy sucks, no contest there, but....if those two were on our team, they would be the second best WR duo behind Smith and Tate, imo; they just unfortunately have Reed as a QB, but they've made him look so, so much better than he is. Once we took away the pass game, Reed was inert, Owens sucks, but EJ Smith is weirdly much better than Owens. Owens has always sucked, and it showed with his 3.owens ypc. Smith averaged 6.8 ypc. Had they actually used him properly, who knows how much better he could have gotten. He's the only reason they have 17 instead of 10 points. His moves are what I wish Baxter could do. Is that a product of our DL? Possibly. But the probability is low since we held Owens and Reed in check. I dunno. There's something different about Emmitt's kid. I bet he plays in the NFL for at least 6 years, which would be 4 more than Owens. Anyway, their WR's are good, I'm not gonna go full hate-tard just because they're aggys. Had they had Arch throwing to them (late year Arch) they would have been destroying teams. Wingo is fine, he's just an athlete playing WR, and I like Mosley. Moore seems to have regressed. But we do have McCutcheon who will be so much better. My point being is, as much as I hate the Harvard on the Brazos tards, their WR corps is miles better than ours, loss or not.
  14. What are the launch codes, because you're about to need them.
  15. Man, both Concepcion and Craver are absolute studs and we held them in check for most of the game. And I agree, I would take either over Bernard or Williams
  16. We would come off the top ropes against Bama. I couldn't agree more. 100%!
  17. Like I said— if you make the CCG and get blown out by more than 10 points, it should count against you. Why? Because if you make it, regardless of how (back door? Ou anybody?) and you get your doors blown off, that should count. It means you weren't truly worthy.
  18. Man, this is one of those arguments that's hard to defend against. Should they? Objectively speaking? Yes. Subjectively? No. Why? They played all of their healthy players because they have two losses and still lost by 3 TD's. However, if you still make the CCG and lose by more than 10 points, that loss should count against you.
  19. Concur. They're nothing more than upsets and honestly shouldn't count. Will they? Yep. Should they? No. Why? Because upsets happen. That doesn'tean said team is good or bad. That same team would lose 9/10 times.
  20. Aggy in 2021 or something has to be added. Does that mean they're "competitive?" Sure, I guess. Does that mean they should be in the CFP? Fuck no.
