  1. ND ahead of us is a crime against humanity. How is that even possible? They play literally academy schools.
  2. Ah, shit!!!! I knew I was missing someone and the name just refused to come to me! Ah, what a time to be alive when he was there, too. Yeah, people tend to forget since Saban was there for so long that those guys wandered the desert for a long, long time. It was a beautiful site. Same with Richt underachieving at Georgia almost yearly.
  3. The good news is we have two RB's for this game. The bad news is only one of them can block and the other can't run through tackles. With Taaffe and Mcdonald back, I see improvement in our secondary. Muhammad is a solid cover corner, Littleton is a baller, but we still have Guilbeau who will get picked on, so he's going to need a ton of help. I don't think this is a blowout, but I'm not confident in a win, either. If Arch can get literally 2.5 seconds to throw, we can put points on the board. We also get Wingo back, and for all the shit he does wrong, he's been stepping up this year on the long ball. Moseley has been a great surprise, and I like Washington as a TE. Our blocking has been the same since 2021- nonexistent from anyone who receives the ball. We aren't running the ball on their defense simply because Baxter doesn't have speed anymore, but he's a reliable pass blocker and ball catcher. I don't know what to do about Wisner, he's basically going to be inert. We aren't bereft of WR talent, but we have a gap in OL vs DL. So we're basically going to to have to channel Mike Leach and hope for the best. Their offense is really good at running the ball between Bowens and Frazier. They'll make you pay, but we have enough DL to rotate to keep them fresh. We need to hope Simmons and Hill/Lefau can make Stockton miserable. Our DL are also really good at getting to the QB and flush them out and make them uncomfortable, not to mention if we get refs that aren't getting paid in envelopes, they can tackle, too. Their WR's are generally good, but hardly great. Their RB/WR Cash Jones needs to be covered at all times, or that motherfucker will make you pay. We will be the best defense they have seen since Bama, and we are only second in total D to Bama in conference, but Georgia is first, so I trust PK. Bobo (what a dumb fucking name. It's fitting) isn't Lebby and won't take risks by airing it out down field. He's more of a run guy who utilizes the pass game effectively with screens, go routes, out routes, etc, especially with Branch. Noah Thomas has been quite a disappointment for them, so that's nice. They don't really have a standout WR outside if Branch, but they have a few guys who are more than capable like Colbie Young, London Humphreys, Dillon Bell, and TE Oscar Delp. Their receivers don't score a lot of TD's, as Branch is their leader with 3; their run game, including Stockton is where they make their payday. Their 3-headed monster of Frazier, Bowens, and McCray (who is basically there to just pound the DL and wear you down) are really, really good. Their defense has a lot of talent, especially KJ Bolden, Ellis Robinson IV, CJ Allen, Raylen Wilson, Joseph Jonah-Ajonye, Christian Miller and frosh Elijah Griffin, and Quintavius Johnson will make our OL look like Holocaust children before their showers if we don't have a solid game plan.
  4. Oh, they weren't. Yes, the past 17 years they have been because of Saban, and I'm still in wait and see mode with Deboer, but let's not forget that they were in absolute shambles before Saban's arrival. Gene Stallings (yes, a NC in 1992, he resigned in 1996) Mike Dubose was fired after three seasons 1997-2000 (Albert Means haunts him) Dennis Franchione left after two season to coach at aggy from 2001-2002, then resigned I believe for giving inside information to boosters Mike Shula was fired after 6 seasons and had wins vacated lol. They struggled with coaching worse than we did before lucking into Saban.
  5. Definitely. A contingency plan for Goosby, Hutson is gone, Campbell is gone, not sure if Cruz will ever play, but I also don't know his learning curve. Robertson seems, from his PFF grade to adequate, but we need a maulers. But even then, we don't know Chatman's return time line, so I think the staff should go for every position on the lo e, regardless. The tough thing about the OL and the portal, is no matter how talented they are, getting them to gel is the hardest part. Even one guy can murder the line (see Stroh).
  6. Absolutely embarrassing. They should be excluded from the playoffs until their fb program joins a conference.
  7. Good god, what a pass by Simpson and that receiver was perfectly open.
  8. No what's Norvell's buyout? Noles fans suffering makes me joyful
  9. Part of me wants to suffer through Kentucky/Florida while witnessing Bama baptize LSU, unless LSU rises to the occasion, but history says nah, fam.
  10. Vandy and Auburn in OT lol. That's certainly something.
  11. Oregon and Iowa QBs Dante Moore - 8/13 1 INT Mark Gronkowski - 6/11 1 TD 12-7 game. Now this is how you rock fight. No more than 24 passes combined.
  12. I've asked myself this same question. He's a complete and utter idiot.
  13. He's a 47 year old man who goes by a college nickname. You expect intelligence with his frontal lobe dysfunction?
  14. Nick Singleton obliterated his stock by coming back. Allen will be fine, but damn, Single went from a 1k rusher to a maybe 500 if the lord is on his side. You know James Franklin sucks as a coach when you have two 1k rushers coming back and still can't beat a top-10 team, all while underutilizing your running game. State Penn did their fans a favor. They need to wander the desert for at least 4 decades as punishment for the Sandusky shit. I thought Franklin was enough, but no, they need more. Same with Baylor. They need 3-4 decades of nothing but mediocrity.
  15. It makes me think how bad Jackson Arnold is. He got Hugh Freeze fired, and if he had stayed at ou Venebals would be fired by now. When you're that terrible, maybe it's time to give insurance sales a try.
  16. If he's extra lucky, maybe he can go back to Arky State with a QB who can complete a forward pass.
  17. Mizzou QB makes early season Arch look like Aaron Rodgers. He's that bad.
  18. EJ Smith scores for aggy. Mizzou is soft af on both sides of the ball, and if aggy played anyone in conference with a pulse they would easily be 2 games short.
  19. 3/9 for 36 yards is....really, really bad. Even for a frosh that's abysmal.
  20. Ahyy with an int by whoever is #25 to set them up in the RZ. Mizzou frosh QB and their OL kinda sucks York didn't get the int
  21. I am trying so hard to get through the day because I know football season will be over before we know it, but outside of like maaaaaybe five games for generosity sake, today has been meh. 11AM: Tech/BYU - kind of boring IU/LSU - epic ending 2:30PM: Aggy/Mizzou - so far hard to watch Oregon/Iowa - safety, and that's it 6:45PM Bama/LSU - Meh. Bama should throttle
  22. Reed is dog shit as a passer, just for correction.
  23. I don't why I had this thought, but for this game it would be kind of cool it Iowa St had the Michigan model helmet, but the helmet he red with yellow stripes. It would look clean with their unis.
  24. Why? Why why why why why why why????? What's the point?
