  1. Oh wow. I actually did not know that. Although while typing out my response, I did wonder if FCS actually had 24, and thank you for giving me the answer. I concur with you. Shit, let's do 24 teams. I'm all for it.
  2. I agree, but if these colleges and universities allow said "students" to enroll, what's the difference between them and anyone else? Sports? Most of them are in the portal (most, not all, clearly) because they either got beat out, suck (Malachai Nelson), above average but they just keep getting granted that 11th year, and at 31 they got live it up while they can before they have to be adults applying for some stupid position at their local State Farm. If the colleges and universities would deny the students, that would clear up a lot of this dysfunction. They would wander off to some place like Arkansas-PB and we would be none the wiser because who gives a shit? If Texas is allowing a kid who has already played at 3 schools to enroll, that's a huge wtf. But most of these dudes getting 8 extra years are irrelevant, while the occasional dumbass like Pavia wants to keep living the dream ans buying the freshmen beer at some sorority party instesd of getting an actual job. But he also knows he has absolutely zero chance of making an NFL roster.
  3. You honestly could have just stopped here. It's such a weird profession. Yes, I, like everyone on here loves recruiting, but it's just slightly uncomfortable when you start to think about it. Texting kids, "sources," showing up to practices, etc. It's just so bizarre. These companies have been making money off ranking kids' performances for the year. It's fucking weird, no doubt. If you took the football out of it, I believe it's called "stalking." Anyway, it's weird. Im glad I don't have to do it.
  4. So, do they "recruit" for meat judging? Have official visitors, a nice little Charcuterie Board and a nice bottle of their finest sparkling grape juice awaiting them at their wonderful stay at the Motel 6 or Holiday Inn?
  5. You can be anything you put your mind to. Don't let anything stop you.
  6. I mean, yes? But one was with 2*-3* transfer guys, and if you're struggling against top tier coaching with guys who will be going pro in something other than sports, I don't see them as "even." I see Indiana as superior due to coaching. If they had the same players Ohio State had, they would have skull fucked that tream to the tune of 65-10. So, yes, sort of. I fear Indiana more because Cignetti is elite at coaching, whereas good for Ryan Day for getting his NC last year, but he's such an inferior coach. The score made it look more even than it really was. I don't think I'm making sense, and I'm trying to figure out a way to where you see what I'm trying to say, rather than what's typed. Does it make sense that I would rather face Ohio State than Indiana? Because Indiana is just so well-coached. If they get a recruiting boost, watch out.
  7. Touché. I don't know why I keep thinking like the old days where relationships and all that matter anymore? It's stupid af. I mean, there were people who thought we wouldn't get both Atkinson and Cooper since Cooper hadn't even visited before he committed. So yeah, you're correct.i need to get this shit through my head. Relationships are, for the most part, irrelevant. I'm sure they matter, but a bank account doesn't accept "they matter," they accept money, which rules sports now.
  8. It's ok to just say the words "they're poor."
  9. Man, that's a tough pill to swallow seeing over $40m and we can't even field a barely warm-blooded, stand up body to block for our most precious recruit we have had since VY. That's negligence at the highest order. Unbelievable.
  10. For the football purists, this is how you fuck.
  11. Huh? What are you talking about, dude? No one "willed" anything. It's CFB, anyone can win who has the same talent, and occasionally teams with lesser talent with better coaching can overcome that. All I said was we didn't get our asses kicked, like you surmised. I posted stats from the actual game. I don't understand your delusion, bro. If you think Ohio State kicked our asses, sure, OK. That doesn't ruin my day. As a matter of fact, it's better than the stupid echo chamber people get locked into. I don't know what your deal is with me since Wilcox amd I are two completely different types of posters. It's weird, man.
  12. I'm gonna be real with you— and yes I'm ashamed, I have no idea who she is. She's way outside my age gap. Like closer to 25-30 years my age. But she was hot in that photo, no doubt. She looks to have amazing tits, or at one time did.
  13. He played like his body has failed him, which it has. He played like he was still hurt, and I'm sure he was. But, and I like the dude a lot, it's just the way it is now. If he's still on the roster come next season, let's hope his body has finally healed. Anyone expecting him to be the older Baxter needs to recalibrate their thinking. He's at best a good blocker and pass catcher, but like @RGBIII said, and it's weird that I can now understand what he does look like while running, is he looks like he's running in jeans. In a swamp. Wearing concrete for shoes. While carrying Mo'Nique on his back.
  14. She kinda looks like Linda Evangelista. Would bang. Not now, God no. But then?
  15. This dude cracks me up. He's in those Badman videos lol. Incompetent Batman is hilarious.
  16. None. Zilch. Make them play in the FCS CFP, instead. They're taking uo a space for a team that has a realistic shot.
  17. The biggest miss is they don't get that $300 Mastercard. Everything else in the gift bag is straight ass cheeks.
  18. This is bottom-feeder, subterranean basement dwelling retarded shit to give them anything. Their relevance to CFB in general is almost zero. Outside of South Bend, who the fuck watches them? Don't get me wrong, I did watch them vs aggy and Miami, but that was it. Even with Jeremyah Love I still couldn't force myself to watch. They play retreads and microbial shit of the CFB world. Maybe, hang with here, don't lose to mediocre teams like aggy and Miami and actually play someone with a pulse. Embarrassing. Crying over not going to the CFP because you lost back-to-back games against the only relevant names you scheduled.
  19. No, I'm totally fine starting Lacy, Lockett, Ffrench, McCutcheon, etc. I don't know who "y'all" are, but I just want a game and whomever starts, starts. I would be more excited to see our young WR's actually get playing time against a quality opponent.
  20. Nah. They did not prove they were "superior" by beating us 14-7 in Colombus. What they showed was anyone can get lucky and drop a bomb to their WR for 40 yards and that ultimately got them the win. They showed they were more prepared, but hardly superior. Had the score been more like 24-7, sure, you could make that argument. But a one score loss to the defending NC's in a low scoring game in their house was hardly anything other than our defense holding our head above water while our offense unfucked their own faces wasn't enough, but we still have a good defense, and our offense is just warming up. I'm being serious, but where did they show they were "superior?" We locked down both Smith and Tate (outside of his 40 yard td, which if taken away would give him 2/9/0) and Smith with 6/43/0. I would hardly call us inferior. Littleton literally made Smith inert. Muhammad had a blown assignment for the Tate td, but otherwise we did fine. Manning had 179 passing yards, Wisner had 80 rushing, and Endries had 50. Our OL allowed 1 sack, and Manning threw 1 INT. Georgia is superior in almost all facets of the game, aside from the QB. Also, wtf are you talking about starting threads? What threads have I started for any reactionary meltdowns? I don't even start threads. The fuck?
  21. Fuck it. Let's make it 68 teams like the basketball tourney. I'm all for as many games as possible. The last one standing will truly be the national champion.
  22. Tech isn't making the final lol. Also, fuck that. If Cristobal made it to the NC it would cut off our FL/GA supply for the absolute top recruits like Baxter, Cooper, Ffrench, Justus Terry, Dia Bell, Atkinson, Samari Matthews, Littleton, etc. The last thing I want is Miami to make it to the NC. Tech, I don't care.
  23. Georgia? Yes. Ohio State? No. Indiana? Yes. Oregon? Maybe. But only 3 of those teams would make me nervous, and Ohio State ain't one of them. I think they're a very good team, but they aren't on the same level as Georgia or Indiana. One has a stacked roster and just lost to a team full of JMU transfers, while the other is a stacked roster that has a defensive mastermind and full of rabid dogs. They have a winning mindset. That's what's instilled in them. We almost beat OSU with an incompetent OC and OL coach and a DC who had Duane Akina on staff.
  24. Until Sark proves he can win one game against Kirby, I refuse to believe even a neutral site game would change the outcome. As for Ohio State, we can beat them. We'll do it next year. Georgia would beat them, too. Indiana is the only team outside of Georgia that I fully believe can win it all, which will be insane if it happens. Indiana of all teams winning the NC would be surreal. I wouldn't hate it. As a matter of fact, it proves that if you can make the right hire, you could be the next Indiana. I like that because it will motivate AD's to put more pressure on lackadaisical coaches who think just making the CFP is awesome! Love it! to actually remove whatever they've shoved in their orifice and get their asses in gear. It serve as both a motivator and punisher for those who think just skeepwalking into the CFP every other year will cut it. It will not.
