Maybe this is why they think Kyle Field is so great. It's the only place they can win (occasionally).

You know...that's not a bad theory. It makes a ton of sense given that screenshot.

Is that bis actual quote, because it sounds eerily familiar? 😂

Sounds like Texas with a 5 seed and settling it in the playoffs.

I’m not sure how much of a drop off Tennessee is. We’ll know more soon.

I'm not sure I trust Heupel running a well oiled machine like Sark. I see him more as a Lane Kiffin guy who will get a really good QB like Henden Hooker and be a 10-11 win guy, but then he'll have his Joe Milton and be a 9 win guy. Maybe that's good enough to get into the playoffs some years, but he hasn't shown enough to prove he can lift Tennessee to the upper echelon of the conference, imo.

He's recruiting ok, tho, so maybe he can sustain it. He looks to have a really, really good QB in Nico, but that kid has some work to do on his mechanics. If Heupel can fix those, I'll be a believer.

Since he's been a HC at Tenn since 2021, their recruiting has been between 10-22. 2021 (22), 2022 (17), 2023 (10), 2024 (14). He's either going to have to be a great HC and developer without top 10 recruiting classes, or he's going to have to get better at recruiting to sustain success.

I haven't followed their defense much at all, but this year they have a really good one. Looking at his recruiting classes he gets really good edge guys and LB, but I have no clue about DT/NT.

you might as well call this Walmart people hit the lottery.   It’s the same story.  There was a couple who hit the lottery and pissed through it about three years like $100 million. they bought everyone they knew houses and cars.   They did not know so much about taxes so chose not to pay a lot.

I remember they bought a big ass jet.  The flew it like two times and eventually did not have the money for a pilot or for maintenance so it sat somewhere until it was seized..   They could’ve arranged a goddamn CD and been making 5 million a year in interest for the rest of their life, but no,  Better to spend it all now.   They were so dim that rather than sell their house to somebody when they couldn’t pay for it they just walked away and it was sold for property taxes at a huge discount.

I remember when Wilbur Marshall, the Gator linebacker star, signed a $6 million dollar contract, a staggering sum at the time.   I remember him saying he knew nothing about money so he had an annuity that would pay him every year and he would not spend more than whatever that was.  Not the best financial choice, but it sure was not the worst.

There was a guy in England who hit about the same amount and in a matter of 2 years he burned through it all on hookers, blow, and meth. He's now working as a sanitation worker and says he regrets nothing.

Can't blame him blowing it all on blow, though. Hopefully he saved a little for some ecstasy.

Not trying to kick a guy when he's down but have you heard him speak? Getting his point across verbally isn't a club he has in his bag.

His main talents seem to be running and fucking. Maybe some sort of onlyfans speed-fucking channel is the answer for him?

I can honestly say I have never heard him speak, but I can look at his choices in going to college and know I trust everyone when they say he sounds like he had a brain injury as a child and it carried over into adulthood.

I imagine he speaks like this guy...

  6. The way Sark is recruiting and coaching, we're definitely a top 3 in the rotating SEC with Bama and UGA. It wouldn't surprise me if we split the series with Georgia during the season + CCG, and then meet in the playoffs. Highly unlikely to beat them 3 times, but i can see 2 out of 3. After  UT/Bama/UGA, there's a drop off with Tenn, LSU, and I guess Mizzou? Everyone else is a bottom feeder.

  7. Every athlete should have to read about Derrick Coleman losing something like $100m after he was out of the NBA. Cautionary tale for athletes. I do wonder why Peterson isn't doing something with football like even breaking down running plays or some shit. Hell, be RB coach at even UTSA. It's better than going broke.

These morons have to go through mandated classes after getting drafted to teach them how to not go broke, yet here we are. God athletes are the dumbest people.

I was surprised to see Michigan fans doing the Horns down, but I guess I shouldn't have been.

I swear, it seems like no matter what game is on, someone in the crowd is doing it when the camera pans to them with their group of friends. It's like the "cool thing" to do now.

It makes zero sense when I saw some rando fan of a team I don't think we've ever played doing it into the camera.

At running back, recently? When did Brooks (who was the top rb in his class before injury) and Bijan (who was the top rb in his class) graduate? What about Roschon? When did he graduate?

I meant RB's out of Louisiana. Sorry for the confusion.
