Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
Aggy in 2021 or something has to be added. Does that mean they're "competitive?" Sure, I guess. Does that mean they should be in the CFP? Fuck no.

Agree 100%, they should absolutely have their own subdivision. They are not equipped to handle a p4/5 team regularly.

I couldn't agree more with every word you posted. 100%.

Nah, Bama is in no matter what. Sure, they lost by 3 TD'S, but they "earned" the right to play for a CCG. Does that matter to us? Yes. Does it matter to is picking what team? No. Not at all.

It's a sham that ND and Miami will both be in, but never mind neither have played a team with a pulse, other than ND getting robbed at home by ref fuckery. But whatever. Fuck all the teams ahead of us.

I can't remember who started it, but an NIT for G5 should be a thing. If they want to add a NC to their record for winning said tourney,go for it.

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
I don't know about top 5, but we're definitely a top 10 team who should be in.
-
Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
They're definitely in, but it needs to go. No G5 team will ever, and I mean forever, get close to winning it all. It's taking away a spot for a legit team that's on the same level (recruiting) as another team. If the G5 modlel didn't exist, we're in. No doubt about it.

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
The G5 crap need to go. They aren't a real FBS team. They are nothing more than a space filler. It's stupid and needs to go away. Anyone who can function without drooling knows this

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
No, I agree. What I mean is they weren't getting absolutely blown up. Yes, they lost by 3 TD's, but they have nothing to play for other than a plque. They already know they would be in the CFP, so. Why exactly would they just go balls to the wall, regardless of said plaque?

We were absolutely cooked after UGA smoked us, Bobo made Sark look like a middle school OC.
-
Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
Bama ain't getting blown out, that's silly. Deboer isn't Sark, and he has Grubb, who is infinitely better at calling the O because Sark refuses to let go of play calling duties for whatever reason.

The universe speaks in Mesopotamian braille, scientists are working on it.

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
See, this is my issue. Why should a G5 qualify? They have absolutely zero chance of winning it all. None. Zilch. Why should they be guaranteed a spot over teams that play in real conferences? The G5 shit needs to go. If they want in, they need to schedule a high P4/5 team and beat them. Not an NC St team, but fuck it, let's jst say Auburn.

Here is where it would get interesting. Look at FSU losing their QB. If Simpson tore his ACL, then they have start thinking "OK, well we know nothing about the Bama back-up, and if they just lost their QB for the year, we need to go next man up, which would be Texas due to finishing the regular season strong." If anyone likes to fuck with CFB, it's the universe.

See my response above. That UF loss is what sealed any hope of making a legit case to be in, but it's not the sole reason we aren't in. But yeah, we can't say "well, we beat three top 13 teams," and then reasonably say " disregard that UF loss." No, that's not how it works. That UF drubbing absolutely sealed our fate for any reason to make it with a third loss. If we lost to UF and they were ranked in the top 15, we can point and say "we lost to a top 15, top 5, and the #1 teams, how can you punish us after we also beat the #7, 9, and 12 teams?"

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
I promise you if we just beat UGA we would be in with two losses. UF/UGA it doesn't matter, we got beat. We didn't do our part. I'm sure they're looking at that UF loss and thinking that's probably the deal sealer for us making a legitimate case, but the third loss killed any hope. The UF loss for sure did us in for making any kind of plea.

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
Sure, or it could be Georgia or Ohio State. It could be any team at this point because we picked it up and didn't do our part of the deal. Honestly, we're being "punished" because we lost to Georgia to get our third. If we lost to UF and beat UGA, we would be in, no matter what. It's not the UF loss, it's the UGA loss, regardless of where they were ranked. We got tagged and rag dolled, and that's our punishment.

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
No, I get it. But a few years ago is was just 4 teams, not 12. It's a lot more difficult to dismiss a 3 loss team that picked up their third loss in what is "supposed" to be a gift, or however you want to look at it. Yes, we both would have three losses, but how can you punish a team that got theirs for making the CCG over a team that picked theirs up against Georgia in game 8-9?
-
Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
The score could be 65-7 and Bama isn't getting left out. They already have 10 wins and they're playing in the CCG. They aren't getting punished. We lost 3 games in the regular season, and regardless of whether or not our SOS is tougher, we still lost 3 regular season games.

$9.95 worth every penny
I know centers have to know all of the line play, including all of the audibles, but otherwise, that's as far as I know. That's why it's so hard and so important to hit on a good one, never mind a great one. They're practically unicorns. For any faults that Majors had, he was a great center for communicating, but he was above average strong. Stronger than what we have currently. Robertson, and I don't know more than anyone else, is extremely weak for a guy his size. Like Hutson, he's embarrassingly weak. Go back to the aggy game and watch both he and Hutson and it will make you wince. That aggy that was shit talking that Simmons called out, pushed around Robertson until Campbell came over to finish him off (the gif is on here somewhere). I was probably on ignore for hyperactivity, which I have rolled back a lot.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen
Fuck Oregon. Make that motherfucker richer than Bill Gates! We simply cannot allow those freaks from Eugene to get both the #1 WR's from 2025 and 2026. If it were fOSU, sure. They've earned it. Oregon has not earned it.

He's been here since Jan 2024, and while he's a RS-FR, Robertson is straight ass cheeks. But sure, I get where you are coming from, but Stroh was a RS-SO and had no issues getting to the field over Neto, a RS-JR, and then supplanted by Hutson, who is also unwiped ass. If Robertson were truly the best we have, I don't know what to say. Yes, the OL is extremely difficult, but many dudes take over their RS-FR year, including Baker. But, and yes, there's always a but, I also get C is the hardest position not named QB to learn. But you have to start weighing your options. Is someone who is absolutely dog shit but knows the playbook better than a guy who has been there for a year and a half and only knows 75% of the playbook, but also has a brighter future? Those are the questions Flood should be asking himself, and Sark asking Flood. We have not seen anything to make us believe Flood made a good choice this season on the OL. Hutson started at C, got his cranium cratered, and moved to LG, where he's still an asshole that's like a marker continuously being wiped like Sisyphus and the boulder. He was getting his asshole pounded like Richard Ramirez in a long-term care facility with the elderly, by the aggy DL and needed constant help from Campbell, who rag dolled those freaks. Then you have starting Stroh over...literally anyone that's partially warm-blooded, who was then replaced by a shitty Hutson. Robertson takes over at C and he's...not great. Not even above average. He's middling to below middling. So I don't think it's a stretch to ask some uncomfortable questions about self-awareness when you're getting paid very, very handsomely to not fuck up half of the year, literally. It took 6 weeks before Stroh was pulled and their best option for the game was...a true frosh Brooks taking over a position he's never played. That's beyond negligence.

I don't even know with Gerry anymore. He's too much into pumping up [name prospect] that they're 4*++ or 5*+ or whatever the fuck they do over there. It's crazy how different their views are from other sites. They keep pounding the John Turntine is a 5* drum, yet they don't even have confirmation on his own weight. Same with them beating the drum that Cruz is the best C since [name literally anyone. Travis Frederick?] for Texas, but he can't beat out a below average Robertson. K. He's had at this point two off-seasons to get ready, and he's just an inch shorter at 6'3, yet weighs exactly the same at 312 LBS. How hard can it be to beat our Robertson, who wasn't even starting until games 8-9? Surely he knows the playbook by now? It's not like I'm trusting Flood, who thought it was a swell idea to start Stroh all those games, when it was obvious to anyone who isn't considered legally blind he fucking sucks. Anyway, I don't know what to think. I think Gerry locks into guys and just doesn't let up. He won't say the quiet part put loud, but he's hinted that Texas should have done more/gone harder after Ezavier Crowell, but he's happy with Cooper.
