  1. People out here acting like we just replaced PK with Pete Golding. Lol
  2. A fucking weirdo creep?
  3. It will absolutely help in the world of recruiting elite talent in Georgia, FL, MS, and maybe LA.
  4. Same with the 2000 Ravens and 2002 Tampa Bay D
  5. We don't know, but it was reported he stepped away so he and his wife could focus on their kids in their last years. He was originally supposed to be our DC when Sark was hired, but something fell through. Also, he wasn't the primary DC, just the co-DC, so he didn't have the same high pressures that other coaches had. He wasn't leaving unless he got an offer he couldn't turn down (us) because of who we are in the name, and we are in his league now. If anyone doesn't think that will help, I don't know what to say. Guys like him with his passion and genius level defensive IQ don't just stop remembering what they're good at. He went back to Georgia because he, Smart, and Bobo were all roommates in college. It made sense, he got them two NC's in his first two years to get them over the hump. I don't get why people just went from chastising PK in the game threads to now being upset that he's getting to go home and we get another elite DC. It's a win-win.
  6. No, I think the better back just happens to be from the state of Texas. Lacy - 258/1279/20 rushing TD's @ 5 ypc with another 154 yards receiving Baugh - 220/1170/8 rushing TD's @ 5.3 ypc with 33 yards receiving (clearly doesn't have great hands, but definitely serviceable) with 1 TD.
  7. Let's see if this dude can be our personal Scattebo in 3 years Or Kyle Porter.
  8. What's the deal? He got to Georgia in 2021 and helped them win the NC in 2021-2022, and they have only missed the CFP once since he got there. The spending time with family I believe was so he could go see his kid(s) play at Vandy instead of traveling back and forth.
  9. You know, I never thought about that regarding the language. And yean, I think this was agreed on well before today. I, like you and many others, cannot see why we would be vindictive towards a man who brought us from the grave to relevance.
  10. I'm hoping Kewan Lacy is still our #1. Bring him back home to Texas! Baugh would be my number two unless Hardy from Mizzou jumped in (he's not).
  11. I just now put two and two together. No wonder he's irrelevant and sucked.
  12. I'm with you. I don't get it, either. During the season it was complain about the defense playing soft coverage, which is what PK likes to do, and now we replace him with a guy that knows this league and defense better than almost anyone and people are upset.
  13. Did they happen to muster any other points? You probably don't want to go look at those stats, it's bad. That's called being unprepared. That's on Sark. Arch knows OSU has talent, but he came out the first few weeks scared to death. No one on either offense really needs a back pat. They both looked mostly inept. Sayin did what he was supposed to do, but other than Manny's blown assignment to let Tate score, he and Smith were shut down by Littleton, Manny, and McDonald. I don't remember Taaffe doing much. That's why I said earlier in the season Ohio State wasn't winning the NC. Now I feel even better about that prediction, especially since IU beat them. IU and Georgia are the two best teams in the CFP.
  14. How is Muschamp a retread? Dude landed at Georgia and the first two years they won the NC, and since he's been there they've only missed the CFP once. Go look at his recruiting, too. It's top notch, just as far back as last year. Yeah, his last season here he sucked absolute shit with LB recruiting, but every year he was here we were top 10, but this is why we have Nansen. He's our LB guy and I doubt Sark will let Muschamp near that room. Look, we both know he didn't fire PK without a plan, or else we wouldn't have immediately gotten the same text saying PK has been fired, Will Muschamp new DC. It wss clearly planned. I don't know why they announced he was fired after all he's done, but maybe he pissed of Sark and CDC in a heated moment. He's been wanting to get back to the PNW, so nothing is stopping him now. I would rather have a DC locked in and not thinking about whether he should leave or not. This will help us so much more in recruiting Georgia and Florida, and maybe other states. PK wasn't a recruiter, so that was a handicap. His secondary was above average to dog shit in all but 2 seasons, hence why both he and Akina were fired together. Greg Robinson rises from the grave
  15. The Day "problem" is obviously just unfortunate circumstance. We should have beaten them by every metric, but we blew it because of anything that could go wrong went wrong, except on defense. Which is why I'm confused about firing PK instead of letting him leave without making a show of it. Unless he just absolutely went off on Sark or CDC, I'm baffled. I'm happy with the Muschamp hire since it will resonate with a lot more athletes.
  16. A relic? He's still easily one of the greatest defensive minds, even today. Yes, I agree his LB evaluations were shit, which is why we have Nansen. Muschamp won't even make a dent in that dept. Anyway, the guy is a fucking legend, has been in the SEC since 2011, and knows the league inside and out, front to back, top to bottom. If anyone is helping us beat Georgia, it's him. He was one of the reasons for their 2021/2022 NC wins. He got there in 2021, then they magically just fucking destroy everyone. So from 2021-2025 he's been with Georgia in some capacity. That's on defense. Hence why their defense is almost unstoppable when you have both Kirby and Mischamp. He was a good recruiter in the beginning, but his last year was absolute dog shit. Regardless, he was here from 2008-2010 and every year our D was top 10. He has a pretty good list of recruits he's landed - Byron Cowart five-star (2018) - Jordan Hicks five-star (2008) - Malaki Starks five-star (2022) - Marvin Jones, Jr five-star (2021) - Jaheim Singleterry five-star (2023) - Jalon Walker five-star (2021) - Demello Jones high four-star (2024) There are several more, but I just picked more recent ones to show he can still recruit.
  17. Did Greenpoint really say PK wasn't fired because Sark was looking for better. Um, I'm not sure I'm following the logic here. Did he fire him so he could get exponentially worse on that side of the ball? If that's the case then just promote Akina to DC. Boom! He's a Titan now! Other than those two, why else would the first/second most important job is to make your unit not suck get fired? PK did a fantastic job, but he has a Kirby/Day problem, and frankly, I think Sark is fucking sick of it, too. He needed to bring in someone who has been around, and what do you know, Will Mischamp was in town. I make that trade 10/10 times on conference alone since Mischamp literally knows the entire league front to back, and he's worked with Georgia from 2021-2025. You want to beat Kirby? You bring in a defensive mastermind that's coached there and he made our Texas defenses physical and punishing when he coached here, and he has a hell of a lot more talent now than then. He can get whomever he wants if the money is approved. He's a recruiter (PK wss not), he shows emotion and passion, whether that's being pissed off, or slightly less than pissed off (I think that's the only way he understands happiness). His enthusiasm will make its way to the players and they'll all go out and Kindle someone. Regardless, I would be happy with either, but I trust Muschamp more since he's been a constant in that league since 2011. PK was said to want to go back to the PNW for whatever ungodly reason. He had it made here, but money isn't everything. Mental health and happiness are.
  18. This is sounding more like a euphemism for, uh, a place to smuggle weiners.
  19. After today's news, I really actually trust that no matter who is making the decisions, they're getting done. I don't think Flood will make the cut to stay, but if he does he better have hit the jackpot in 14 states.
  20. This feels two ways: 1. Sark was told that if he doesn't fix shit ASAP, he should start getting his resume together. 2. Sark himself is tired of this shit, and when you can upgrade, do it every time. Akina had to go, but I'm surprised about PK. I read he wanted to go back to the PNW, and that's cool., but why not just put in your resignation and leave rather than be fired? Akina had to fucking go. Good riddance. I like Mischamp a lot, and he has produced some of the best and most physical defenses we've had in a long, long time (Sergio meet Taylor Potts). We had a lot of talent then too, just like now. I'm really surprised he came out of retirement, but it's Texas and he's had a house here since..,.almost 20 years, and he and his wife vacation here. He's been on campus a few times to converse with Sark. There's a video somewhere on YouTube with Muschamp talking to Baxter, Sweat, Murphy, Barron, and some other guys before heading to take on Washington in the CFP 2 years ago. I'm totally happy with the hire.
  21. Oh right, I've been sick all week and wasn't sure if I had dreamed that or not. I actually Googled it and didn't see anything, but I did it gain and saw that he's in the portal. Why? Dude had the chance to absolutely wreck shop in his final year. I thought he was happy here? I'm bummed now.
  22. Look, those are great numbers, but they're skewed. Look at the teams that we have beaten and the teams that have beaten us. Florida almost beat our asses by 2+ TD's until Sark panicked, put in a true frosh T to replace Stroh, and our D couldn't even stop their dinged up QB, couldn't stop the run, and couldn't stop the pass...in week 5. Then we once again get blasted by Georgia by four scores. So in 2 years in conference, we have gotten body bagged by Georgia 3 times, FL was about to, though they might as well have since that's how smart our coaches are. It's a Georgia problem. PK cannot scheme well enough against Mike fucking Bobo, and Sark is getting his offense shoved into a locker. We blew leads against ASU in the peach bowl because we can't stop the run, we can't stop the pass which is why Clemson, a very bad Clemson team came back on us. I like PK and am very happy he built the D back up, but he's hit a wall and can only do so much. Muschamp knows the entire league front to back, top to bottom. We'll be fine. We have the talent and the horses to win. If we can land a new OL coach all the better. Same with WR, because Jackson isn't teaching or developing shit. He's letting other teams develop so he can take credit for it (Golden, Bond, Mosley, Mitchell). Other than Wingo making a good catch, it's really hit or miss, and that's unacceptable for a true Soph former five-star who has heen playing since day 1. Moore? He's been there, but again, he barely catches. McCutcheon looks to be good, but how would we know since he only got one or two passes thrown to him every 3 games.
  23. Nice. Appreciate it. Can you tell me how the shirts fits? Like material-wise?
  24. Huh. I just saw he won the Landry award coming out of HS. Lots of yikes to yeah, they deserved it. Est. 2010 Johnathan Gray - Texas (win it twice in 2010/2011. Could have been a generational talent had he not torn both of his achilles. If he got one year of rest for his legs, I bet those injuries ether don't happen, or it's something minor. Even after the injuries you could see he had so much talent) Jake Oliver - Texas (2012) Myles Garrett - aggy (2013. Uh, yeah. The only true aggy I wish played for Texas, which he would have if we didn't have a colossal failure in Mack Brown to Charlie Strong, who didn't even bother trying to recruit or put the most effort possible to get him. Charlie Strong in a sentence. Generational talent.) Kyler Murray - ou/aggy (2014. Uh, yeah. Sucks Calvin couldn't help us out here more instesd of his red ass dad. I have to question Kyler's intelligence if it took him from January to the middle of the season to realize he fucked up. Generational talent) Jett Duffey - tech (2015. No clue who this is.) Kennedy Brooks - ou (2016. No idea why or how, but I guess the pickings were slim that year) John Stephen Jones - Arky (2017 have never heard of him) TJ McDaniel - SMU (2018 no clue about him. I know he transfered to SMU from Northern Arizona) Jaxon Smith-Njigba - tOSU (2019 Ths is a no shit, and a fuck you to both Tom Herman and Drew Merhinger for being fucking retarded and flip flopping. No wonder you both fail) Jojo Earle - unlv (2020 college journeyman from starting off at Bama then transferring to TCU and now it's time to try a level just above 3A football at unlv) John Hoover - TCU (2021 I had heard the name, but otherwise he's a non-entity. I don't know if he pans out or not since he's just a Soph, but I'm willing bet he won't) Jackson Arnold - ou/Aub (2022 I mean, what else can be said? Quite literally all of us (or the majority of us) said he will absolutely suck ass in college, while ou fans knawed and hissed, and then saw the product on the field and said "yeah, he's fucking terrible. We need a hard reset. We let Gabriel walk for this piece of shit?)
  25. I mean, you're not wrong. Why would they? You killed them, er I mean they were already dead, so why should you let it go to waste? All you're doing is making sure it goes from point A (their hands) to point B (your nose and lips). It's pretty simple Now, as for mine, he uses iike 6 aliases for some reason. He's like "Today, I'm Muhammad," but out of confusion I ask him him why a middle eastern name? He says to me "how many Muhammad's sell coke?" Touché I guess? So I'm like, just give me the MDMA so I can wallow in sadness and feel good at the same time.
