  1. Nothing screams I'm poor quite like Adidas Texas Aggies. Ah man, we want to be them so bad. Fuck!
  2. You know what? Thank you just for giving your opinion and answer. That's all I wanted, and that is totally valid on your part. I get it, I really do. I don't want to go up and read, but if I said Gibson hasn't fumbled, what I meant to say was I didn't think he had, or at least I put it out of my head. So again, thank you for correcting me on the fumble and for giving me your opinion.
  3. The ACC Network lulz. No one with a competent AD hiring him. He'll need to go the Liberty route like Freeze and then get hired to kill another program in a few years.
  4. I still have no idea how his spine is still intact after that. I was for sure he was done. Nope. Dude pops back up and is ready for more. Absolute freak of nature.
  5. Is he not? What grade do you think he is? He's a RS-FR who had an Achilles tear. What am I missing? Please, show me, Obi Wan.
  6. I mean, it's fine. Every person on here wrote off Gibson, and look what he's doing in year 2. Christ. This is Clark's first real season of playing against guys with equal talent. Obviously he's had some bad runs, but he showed good cutting and his TD showed he has good balance. I'm not asking for an extra 3 YAC. Just get 4 and move to the next play. He has great hands, too. Tell me, what is it that you guys see that makes you write him off? I'm genuinely curious. This shit happened last year, and now people are all over Gibson's nuts because....he's not fumbling and is showing good vision and patience. These guys are young outside of Baxter and Wisner.
  7. Yes. I see the ups and downs, the good and bad. He's a frosh who's shown good cutting ability and decent speed. I'm not saying he's the next Bijan. But he has shown that if the game will slow down for him, at the very least he'll be above average, imo.
  8. I mean, yeah, no shit. No disrespect to you because I enjoy your takes, but you're talking about a legit (not that thrown around shit) generational talent. The next time we see a Bijan will be a long time. Guys in this category (Ricky Williams, Adrian Peterson, Herschel Walker, Bo Jackson, Reggie Bush, Derrick Henry) are fucking unicorns, basically. We're talking years apart from one another. What we do have is a very serviceable and capable RB room, with some serious talent. Every single RB we have (aside from Ricky Stewart, who hasn't played) are all averaging over 4.5 ypc. We'll see how that goes during conference play, but how many teams out there would you say have 5 RBs averaging those numbers? Not many.
  9. Damn. I'm actually surprised. He has looked pretty good with his cuts. He's not Bijan, but he's showing potential. Remember we were writing off Gibson last year, and now I don't think he's fumbled once. Give it time.
  10. You don't like what you've seen from Clark so far? Dude has this great cutting ability and he's shifty af.
  11. Well, now he's for sure not going to UF.
  12. I wish Sark would get Townsend more involved in the offense, even if it's some gadget play. That kid is a weapon. For all I care, line him up in the back field and I bet he scores. He's a freak, and a tough mf'er.
  13. Simon, when on the field, is like being shot out of a canon. When the lights actually click on for him and the game slows down, holy mother of God. That kid will be a gamer. Baxter is a really good back. We have a very good problem in the RB room that 99.999% of teams would love to have. Baxter, Wisner, Gibson, Clark, Simon. Add in Derek Cooper next year and if he lives up to the hyoe as well....God damn.
  14. Money well spent, but coaching is average. Ojo will need a lot of development, as will Bryant, so will Tech continue to stick with high school Joey? He's done nothing to suggest he's nothing more than an average to below average college coach. Give Traylor what they're giving Joey, and that mf'er will show you how it's done.
  15. A&M defense is a dumpster fire. I don't know too much about State's defense, but I'll bet Shapen tears their LB and DB's to shreds. This may be a game that goes back and forth, but I don't see aggy dominating by 14. Moss is damn good between the tackles, so they'll have to game plan for him. Reed...is at least serviceable. Rueben Owens is still dog shit. Amari Daniels is pretty, pretty bad at his job. They do have a really good WR in Concepcion, but he can't take over a game. This will be an interesting game to follow. I may actually watch an aggy game. Their ranking is obviously too high, but that's what the roller-coaster and October is for.
  16. I just wanna know who his coke dealer is.
  17. And let's be honest here, we're all a little jealous of him for that. I know I am.
  18. Oh, it's not personal. I would love to see him do better than Ole Miss, it's just the Florida thing is he doesn't like to recruit, and they will be banking on that. He's a portal hound, which is fine, but high school recruiting he doesn't seem to be a fan of. But...if he takes the.job, good for him. It just seems weird from a recruiting standpoint, nothing more. I love Freshwater, man. Dude is a legend to me. You're right, I forgot to add it - pride. He wants to win a NC, and I get it, and honestly, if he would recruit high school like he does the portal, the man may be unstoppable. His mind for offense is off the charts.
  19. I just don't personally see Freshwater as a fit at Florida, even if he's not leaving Ole Miss yet, anyway. It just seems like a weird fit, culturally speaking. He'll have big check writing dick heads breathing down his back and he'll have a magnifying glass on him at all times. Does he really want that? I get ALL HC's want to win a NC, but not all HC's want that kind of pressure, and they'll expect him to immediately turn things around in 2 years. More money, more problems.
  20. Well, Pittman has been fired and one of their best WR's, Jalen Brown broke his tibia and fibula yesterday. I'd say even if Arch isn't even mediocre we beat their asses. They're fucking God awful. If you switched Florida and Arkansas jerseys, you wouldn't even see a difference. Both are chimpanzee diarrhea.
  21. Jalen Brown with a broken tibia and fibula. Was pretty knarly to see it in real time. Made me wince seeing it happen. That's a pretty big loss for them. He was having a decent season until that injury.
  22. I like Ty Simpson. You can see how he's grown and commands the offense. He took the loss to FSU and came back and isn't rattled. He does have two really good WR's in Bernard and Williams, but their RB room is kinda meh without Richard Young. The Riley kid seems decent, Miller looks fat for some reason, but he still did as well as you could have hoped for, even if the stats don't reflect it. With Young being out and having to use Bernard situationally as a substituion did about as well as you it could have done. Simpson sees the field very well and doesn't get fazed too easily. He made some really good passes, and didn't make many mistakes. I think he'll get them to the CCG and playoffs, but they aren't lifting the trophy. If you don't have a good stable of RB's to pair with your WR's, you aren't lifting the trophy. Georgia's defense had some odd looks. I don't know if it was intentional, or if the Bama offense confused them. Their safeties and LBs looked lost a lot of the time, and they kept bringing the safeties way too close to the LBS, which gave Simpson and his WR's the space they needed. Let's not forget Robinson being a total dumbass and jumping on the pile to give Bama that extra 15 yards and a first. if UGA had a WR corps that can actually catch (not even asking for a Ryan Williams guy, but more than one guy not named Cobie Young), even with a mediocre Stockton, they could have won the game because Bama's defense is...not great, Bob. UGA's RB room is really good with Bowens and Frazier as a 1-2 punch, and that McCray kid, but their WR's are meh af. Defense is still good, but it's a shell of its former self. CJ Allen is a stud. I thought Justin Williams would actually be better, but he kind of sucks right now. Joseph-Ajonye was a good run stuffer. Quintavious (sp?) Johnson looks like a stud. Anyway, my point being is that their defense can be beat as long as your QB is in command and on the same page as your WR's, and your RBs can consistently pound the defense. It's why I'm glad we have a stable of really good RBs. We just need Arch to not panic. If Simpson, who I believe is the same age as Arch, or maybe one year older can stay relaxed and composed, both defenses can be beaten (assuming we get a match-up with Bama in the CCG).
  23. It's a shame in my league he only got me 26 pts. Should have been at least 30, imo.
  24. Bijan Robinson is Ricky Williams/Adrian Peterson special. From college to the pros. He's...beautiful.
